I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from CMH Volvo Fourways and don't recommend to go there. I sent my Volvo S60 for for motor warning light and brake concerns since 31st, July; they provided a quotation of R28,000 to change some parts, I informed them that I have just changed some of these parts 2 weeks before, but they insist that the parts still faulty, I agreed for the quotation and paid R28000 to order the parts, and waited for 30 days till the parts arrive; the original problems remain unresolved. The vehicle continues to show the same faults, and they asked for extra parts and hit me with extra R22000 for extra parts; I approved all the requested service/parts and paid R50,000 . However, the service center has failed to provide a solution despite charging me for multiple parts and extended service time. I am facing continuous delays, out-of-pocket expenses, and a lack of accountability from the dealership. and till now after 2.5 months, they still can't solve the issue and trying to get support from other VOLVO providers, and still waiting,

I have not seen the bad customer service of Volvo as of Bryanston Volvo. I have been calling them trying to extend my service plan as I bought second Volvo late last year. The worst thing is that my service plan is ending, since the beginning of this month I have been calling them and the promise to return to me without any success. It is disheartening that I had to drive directly there to get help and the lady Lerato when the receptionist called her to assist me with the quotation and the process she just said she is busy and cannot see me. Now is a week waiting for her call. It is my first time buying a Volvo and I would not advise anyone to buy the second hand Volvo as no one will assist you with extension of service plan.

Volvo XC60 and Volvo Bryanston Dealership For a state of the art technological vehicle the XC60 battery doesn't last. A very un user friendly car. If the criteria for owning a Volvo is thatVolvo insists that it must be driven an undisclosed mileage for battery to be maintained - then what is the point in owning this car? Volvo insists: "The current conclusion would be that the vehicle needs to be driven sufficient distances as often as possible and if frequent drives are not possible, then the vehicle needs to be left idling for 5-10min before the initial drive and the vehicle needs to be started and left to idle as frequent as possible." Additionally the dealership has a terrible customer service level. And Volvo customer experience is equally as bad an unable to resolve my concerns with the car.

I have only serviced my Volvo at CHM Volvo Bryanston since new, I have had numerous faults with my car ever since, they even replaced my engine just over 2 years ago and told me I get a 2 years warranty on the job and today after sending it for a major service I am told that the engine needs a major overhaul again and acutally it is only 1 year warranty. I complained about my aircon while my vehicle was still on the volvo maintenance plan and I was told nothing was wrong with it, today when the car is off the plan, I am told that the aircon pump is broken which costs R30000 to replace. I cannot believe that a brand new car only serviced and maintained Volvo Bryanston is in such a condition today, the service is really bad, I even tried contacting Volvo Customer Care and you are lucky if you get an automated reply back, they just do not help at all. Please be aware of CHM Volvo Bryanston, you might send you car there to be fixed, but when it comes back you will have far more damages than it had before going in.

This review is posted to warn prospective buyers of the Volvo XC90 "flagship" model and to share my experiance with Volvo Bryanston. I purchased a vehicle [Volvo XC90 Inscription, 2017, odometer reading 28,332 km] from CMH Volvo Bryanston for an amount of R 819 973.08 on 26 July 2018. On collection [after payment of the full purchase amount] the vehicle had more than 40 defects [not identified during the claimed 101 point Volvo checklist] and it later expired that the vehicle did have “comments” on the Volvo System and was in fact involved in an minor accident although not declared at time of sale. It was evident from the defects list that the vehicle was abused by the previous owner and not in a “Brand New Interior and Exterior Condition” as advertised by Volvo and that I was misled by CMH Volvo that did not declare all relevant information on the vehicle prior to purchase. I took the vehicle back to Volvo Bryanston for repairs on various occasion and after about 3 months most of the original purchase defects was repaired. Some of the defects included park light and PDC's that have fallen out. Following these repairs I experienced seatbelt failures, brake lining failures directly after service, worn tyres, wheel alignment problems, front suspension bush failure and various rattles on the vehicle [current odo ± 66,000 km]. Since purchase I have taken the vehicle back to various service providers and/or to Volvo Bryanston [and again collected the vehicle] on at least 20 occasions in a period of approximately one year. During the period of ownership, the vehicle was not available for my use for a period of at least 40 days. I have incurred huge losses [in time and actual costs] in the return of this vehicle for repairs related to a defective vehicle and poor workmanship. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the vehicle in various correspondence to Volvo and I have lost complete trust in the Volvo brand and in the vehicle purchased. I paid R 819 973.08 for a vehicle that continuously present quality problems and the poor service received from Volvo Bryanston further attributed to my misfortune. After a year and 37000 km Volvo Bryanston offered me a trade in of R500,000 for this vehicle so be aware that you will loose 40% [R350,000] in value within a year on Volvo's flagship model. Also note that the chamber on the XC90 cannot be adjusted without stripping some body parts and this can only be done by Volvo. Also note that you will fork our R35k for a replacement windscreen and OEM windscreen do not work. Anyone is welcome to contact me and I will share a detailed report that was send to the Ombudsman.

Bought a new XC 60 from Volvo Bryanston in 2015. Had all sorts of technical problems over the years, multiple battery failures, water leaks (took about a month to repair) and many other minor but nuisance problems. Each required long lead-times to book a service. When we tried to sell the car we found they had used the wrong engine S/no on registration. This took six weeks to resolve, by which time the offer I had on the car had gone. Lost R20,000 on the car through these delays. Terrible overall experience and the last Volvo we will buy. I certainly wouldn't want to have anything to do with their arrogant used car sales person either!
