Extremely bad and unprofessional perthitic service, Strubens Valley Animal Hospital.
Extremely bad and unprofessional perthitic service. The worst Vet, They just killed our dog. who was healthy and went in for a simple procedure to have him closed up. they couldn't care at all for him when we took him back yesterday after he took for the worst and this morning he past on. Three separate Vets have confirmed that there was extreme negligence but in how the procedure was done, the meds given and care given when the dog was taken back Never take your beloved pet to this slaughter hummer house horror.

Extremely bad and unprofessional perthitic service. The worst Vet, They just killed our dog. who was healthy and went in for a simple procedure to have him closed up. they couldn't care at all for him when we took him back yesterday after he took for the worst and this morning he past on. Compassion That Restored My Faith in Humanity
About a month ago, I drove past a dog in Zandspruit whose back legs were either broken or paralyzed. I knew if I didn’t stop, she would die a slow, painful death. So I picked her up. She was in agony, but her eyes were full of love, all she wanted was kindness in return. I believe she had been abused and left to die. I didn’t know what to do, so I called Strubens Vally Vet. The woman who answered was incredibly kind and caring. She told me to bring the dog in and they would try to help, no hesitation, no talk of money, just genuine concern. I was shocked. In a world where most Drs are driven by profit, this vet truly cared. The team at Strubens Valley Animal Hospital welcomed her, put her on a drip, and did everything they could. Sadly, she didn’t make it. But I’m grateful she passed away in a place of safety, not alone in the sun, starving or suffering further. I have deep respect for the staff and vets at Strubens Valley Animal Hospital. They showed compassion, integrity, and heart. They reminded me that there are still people doing this work for the right reasons. God bless them for their kindness and dedication.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO STRUBENS VALLEY VET !
WORST VET EVER DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE!!!! I recently took my cat to that trash vet because my cat was CONSTIPATED! DR so & so took my cat in & said he was going to do x rays, we went & looked at the x rays & then TOLD me that he sent the cat in for bloods, WHICH I DID NOT GIVE MY CONSENT FOR ! he then went on telling me that if I take my cat home my cat is going to die & that I need to leave him there for the night & that everything will come up to R15 000 he then told me because they are closed for new years I will have to send my cat to a hospital in Bryonston which was going to cost +-R10 000 then he said I should bring the cat back after new years & a further general admission will be charged which is about R4000 so literally my cats bill was going to cost me 30k for CONSTIPATION, I then took my cat to another vet, MY CAT IS PERFECTLY FINE! I AM HIGHLY ****ED OFF, strubens valley is only there for the money, they take your animals to the back so that you can’t see what they doing & they bill you for that ! THEY ARE ****** & karma will come for you guys ! THEY JUST WANT TO KILL YOUR PETS & MAKE MONEY FROM YOU !!!!

DR SINGH, They just want your money, they wanted to charge me R15 000 to keep my CONSTIPATED cat for a day, & then I got told to transfer the cat to another clinic which was probably going to cost around R10 000 & then bring him back to the vet to charge me an extra 3-5k FOR NOTHING ! For a constipated cat ! You must be joking they bill you without asking for permission, they just handover heavy bills to the clients I hate this vet! & I wish everything worse on this vet ****** !!!!!!!!!

Great service, compassionate and trustworhy
Saw some of the other bad reviews and felt like I needed to write this as they do not deserve those reviews. I have been taking my kitties and dogs to them for the better part of a decade. They are always friendly, compassionate and well organized. Really eent above the call of duty when my dog needed surgery while I was overseas recently. They are conservative and do not do unnecessary procedures but also aim to give your animal the best care possible. I really enjoyed how they explain all the different options available when my dog was sick and all the pros and cons so that I felt confident had made the best decision. I will keep using them as they are fantatsic.

Great service, compassionate and trustworhy
Saw some of the other bad reviews and felt like I needed to write this as they do not deserve those reviews. I have been taking my kitties and dogs to them for the better part of a decade. They are always friendly, compassionate and well organized. Really eent above the call of duty when my dog needed surgery while I was overseas recently. Zero compassion
Strubens valley “Hospital” but you don’t have proper facilities and refused assistance even though I have been Taking my dogs there for years, will never put my foot back there, totally disgusted with Dr Singh attitude and inability to assist. I was referred to a specialist which I gladly went to but the fact that you can’t dispense meds even though you have a script from them , pathetic.

Zero compassion
Strubens valley “Hospital” but you don’t have proper facilities and refused assistance even though I have been Taking my dogs there for years, will never put my foot back there, totally disgusted with Dr Singh attitude and inability to assist. I was referred to a specialist which I gladly went to but the fact that you can’t dispense meds even though you have a script from them , pathetic.

Two bad experiences at Strubens Valley Vet
Unfortunately I have to give this veterinary practice a lousy 1 star based off a previous and a now recent experience. First experience was last year when my 15 year old female cat was not given the advised care from referring vet and she was hospitalised there for 3 days which cost me over R12k. She had not improve and I took her to another vet for help. She then passed away. Most recently, another of my cats was "approaching the rainbow bridge" and the vet assigned to us almost imp**** that we WANTED to put her to sleep, instead of examining her to confirm our findings and recommendations from other vets. Said vet wanted to rather examine our cat behind closed doors instead of just listening to her chest as we said she had trouble breathing. He wanted to run all sorts of expensive scans, x-rays etc instead of attending to the cat as WE had asked. It is apparent from both experiences that this practice seems to have an MO to get as much money from clients to pay off the fancy renovations. The previous practice was much more pleasant and didn't focus on making money.
