Bought a Xiaomi vacuum and mop for almost R5000. It worked for exactly 24 hours and then stopped charging. It took a week for MIA to respond to my request to fetch the unit for a refund and now half a week later all they do is send me an automated response saying that the unit is in diagnostics
Stay away from buying Mutlu batteries in Durbanville. The battery is still under warranty, as acknowledged by Mutlu, however I cannot produce the receipt as it is in a building which is currently closed due to the lockdown. During my first visit to Mutlu to report the dead battery they explained that the guarantee is in place and that they would need to test the battery to see if they can revive it. They promised a response in a 3 day period and that they would replace the battery if the tests showed that it was dead. Upon my return visit to them they explained that the battery is indeed faulty and has a dead cell. They confirmed that it is still under guarantee but now changed their story and insist that I produce the receipt. The owner of the company offered a 50% discount on a new battery. Given that the current battery is under their guarantee I declined the offer. To date this issue has still not been resolved and I'm without a battery.
I ordered a very expensive keyboard for a tablet shortly before lock down. To give the company credit they did keep me informed regarding when I could expect delivery given the regulations. Sadly when the keyboard finally arrived it has been badly damaged and looks like it's second hand. All of my emails in the last 3 weeks asking for a replacement unit have been ignored. Think twice before parting with your money to this online trader
Be extremely cautious before buying from New Balance online. It took several calls each day for three weeks for them to admit that they had received my payment and to finally dispatch the shoes to me. Unfortunately they unanimously decided to change the sizes of the shoes so they didn't fit when they finally arrived. I've now been trying for over a week to return the shoes. Sadly they will not respond either to emails or telephone calls. And you cannot exchange online purchases at a store. My advice therefore is to avoid purchasing from them at all costs My next step is to attempt to get joy through the consumer protection board

Do not buy from yello data.

They are quick to sell to you but will not process a cancellation.

I've been trying for months to cancel my contract. Each time there is a different excuse with the end result is that they continue to deduct from your account.

Rather stay well away from them to begin with
