L NTINI. who was Ecdc employee up to his voluntary retrenchment in 2001 and he was working at Butterworth branch. My father was approached to take voluntary retrenchment under guaranteed benefits or source of income e.g Social plan or in form of a franchise that ecdc can buy it for you even if it's still aperating but the owner are selling it, continuation of monthly salary up to the Implementation of this social plan e.t.c. My father tried everything but was let down by Ecdc declining every proposal. Some of this business proposal was approved but ECDC failed to pay the money e. g KFC Butterworth, BP Garage Dutywa, BP Garage East London. Ecdc was just making delaying tactics by declining of falling to pay for no valid reasons. They also approached him just the day the deal was gonna be finalized for BP Garage that he must choose between the Garage and the school to further his studies. He choose school because he was no longer trusting ECDC on the business side then they said he must look and apply in the varsity of his choice then after ecdc failed to pay so he then loose both the school and the garage. Ecdc failed my father dismaly to render as promised because no one can just take voluntary package knowing that he need to take care of the kids, family, bills, installments and bond and ECDC kicked him out of the house after failing to pay the rent although ECDC knows the reason. I have all the communication letters and business agreement between ECDC and my father .He borrowed money to register company and joining to the association and attending business meetings and trainings which he was sent by Ecdc just to give him hope. For the past 7years before his death there was a communication between these 2parties. Before his death he wrote a letter to ECDC demanding that he must be paid the damages from 2001 including interest, his severance package which was putted asside by Ecdc saying that it's gonna used to secure his business of which the money was suppose to pay him at the time of retrenchment and they must give him his job back because they failed to do as agreement. There are also rumous that he is the only 1 who was let down by ECDC some they got cash back . He never received a single wage as Ecdc promised to pay him up to the Implementation of this business. I want law to take action if ECDC can't solve this matter. My father told me that the money was paid out for them to re instruct the 2001 retrenchees but he never received a single cent from it. He only received 112000 pension and 46000 was taxed so he was left with small money but he was not worried because they told him that he will still receive his monthly salary till the Implementation of that social plan. Social plan was not an alternative it was guaranteed by ECDC. It affected us a lot and we dropped out of school and he was also affected his health and career. Can the company try to look this matter as soon as possible because it's for the second time now raising this issue and the response that I got in 2014 was that they deposit his pension of which it was 112000 so the is no money left for him and they can't answer on behalf of the previous Management coz the management is no longer working there. My name is Mbuso. I bought a Baw sasuka from your garage. It gave me lot of problems because the car was 3 years old I only find out at the garage that the car is out of warranty. Whilst the sales lady told me that the car is 2016 model and it's under warranty and it has 25.000 km although it has 75. 000 km. I called the sales lady about this mater after finding that they can't fix the car it's out of warranty. It gaved me problems just after I bought the car on the way home. Also customer care told me that the car is out of warranty there's is nothing they can do they gonna call the dealer why they didn't tell me the truth. I contacted the sales lady about this matter telling her that if I knew the car is 3years old and 75.000 km I should have cancelled the deal or I should have go for a knew car. I didn't expect the response that I got from her. She told me I'm still young I'm unmatture where can I get a 2016 model and 25000 low millage car whith such a small deposit I must use my brain. She said she will make follow ups but that was last year till the car was repposesd in April no one came with the feed back. I'm so sad that was my last cent I thought I was starting a business. I've been complaining a lot. The car problems within the first day clutch kit it was shaking a lot when trying to move, jegging, powerless, high sound of the engine, smoke, traking drums bearings often, breaks failer, power steering pump, changing hub and bearings weekly. The car gaves me problems everyday. I have to fix those problems on my own pocket coz the car is out of warranty. If the car was in good condition it will be still on the road. People were laughing at me. Also when it's raining I have to offload people and park the car because the roof and Windows were leaking. I experienced that from the first day from the garage it was raining on the way back to Eastern Cape and the car jegged and switch itself off. I called the customer care no answer so I have to higher break down because it was midnight. Plz make follow up and try to look at this matter. I made a loan with FNB the monthly installment on the contract is 2800 but they are deducting 3300 from 2018 until now they also deduct arreas of about close to 2000 every month although they deduct the monthly installment every month's. Can someone help me to solve this matter my number 0738400847
I bought a Baw Sasuka from definitive Auto Edge from Johennersbag. The car gave me problems from the first day. I called customer care but there's was no answer. I tried to call my friends to come and tow me to Mtata coz it was midnight. There car was jegging and brakes failer and it was raining the car was having leaks off which no one told me about those problems. In the morning I called the customer care they told me I must go to their garage in East London they can't tow the car if it's still going. They can only come and tow it if it's not moving at all. When I get to East London they told me that I have to pay for the car because the car is out of warranty it only covers angine and the gear box only. I called the dealer they say there's no such because there car didn't reach 100.000 km it was 75000 on the clock. I called the customer care they also told me that the car is out of warranty and there's nothing they can do. Car dealer and the customer care told me they will try to solve the issue. At that moment I have to pay for it. After it gaved me lot of problems daily and I have to take money from my own pocket because it was useless to call the customer care they can only tow the car but I will have to pay the garage although the dealer told me that everything is gonna be fixed for free. As a result the car was repposesd within 6months because it was not making money. There was no help from the dealer and the insurance. When I was making the deal they told me the car is 25000 on the clock and it's 2016 model although I was told by the garage that the car is 2years old it's 2014 model and it was 75000 on the clock so the reason why it's out of warranty is its 2years old. I called them recently addressing this issue. They told me it's a new staff under new management and there is no proof that the car was 75000 on the clock. They say I'm just desperate for cash there's no way they garage can give me a car with no warranty. They are defending the previous management. My complaints is they have the right to give me a car that the warranty only covers the engine and gear box only although I was told by the dealer that it is going to be fixed for free. Worse I wasn't told about the problems of the car. I experienced problems from the first day like jegging often and I have to offload the passengers ,leaking of the windows and roof, changing bearings and hubs often, no power, brakes failer, binding, e. t. c I experienced this problems from the first week of purchase and I have to pay by myself although the dealer told me everything is gonna be fixed for free. They knew my complaints till the car was repposesd but the was no help from the dealer and Baw.
