Absa, has used the services of Ara, and yet we paid their supplier who did the collection and yet we We had the worst experience with Ara. We settled and paid a personal loan with Absa Bank with them 3 and a half months ago. To Date we have not received our paid up/ settlement letter. We call them continuously yet no one is assisting. It takes 21 days to get that letter however a even bigger concern is they did not supply proof of payment and Absa still lists it on the Credit Report now as missed payments with the lack of response and everything happening it seems they never paid the loan. 3 and a half months later. Absolutely terrible service.

DMC is stammers Do not trust them, they make arrangements 1st of all their staff has no clue who their client is. If you a FNB customer they call and say it is a Discovery Consumer Gold account. I have been waiting 6 days for my paid up debt settled letter yet they have excuses. Now a nother legal entity contacted me for the same account yet DMC cant assist so where is the money I paid them it is clear to me that they have ****med me or their staff is completely *********** to assist and do their jobs
FNB credit Card and Legal devision is absolutely useless. They are quick to list a person however if you paid up the debt their legal team and 3rd party DMC are not in a rush to supply a paid up letter. Worst of all the debt has been settled but they refer it to laywers. Then their 3rd Part revers to is as Discovery Credit Card not FNB. Calling none stop sending emails yet no one responds.
Unfortunately I had the worst experience dealing with Discovery and their processes, feedback and assistance is absolutely terrible. We have adhered to their terms and requirements yet their escalation and what they deem as Urgent is pathetic. A life is hanging in the balance yet they do not care and nothing is being communicated even the cardiologist team has been following up the broker and myself and they do not respond. It's sad to say but the Discovery way will have someone die without the proper care and intervention due to their lack of assistance. The Dr completed the PMA form showing it was not a preexisting condition the admission letter from the cardiologist reflects immidiate yet Discovery does not care and apparently they have no way of contacting their INTERNAL FORENSIC devision.
