My experience with Rawson Gillitts and agent has been nothing short of shocking and deeply disappointing. I relocated from Gauteng to KZN in December 2025, only to be met with dishonesty, unprofessional conduct, and complete disregard for my rights as a tenant. I signed a lease for Unit 2, a ground‑floor unit chosen specifically for my young child’s safety. After driving long distance and arriving to move in, I was suddenly handed the keys to Unit 1 — a totally different apartment with a balcony and safety risks for a small child. At no point did the agent inform me of this change, and when I questioned it, she brushed it off as an “oversight.” This was misrepresentation and a breach of contract. To make matters worse, the unit I was forced into was in terrible condition: • The apartment was not cleaned • Dirty floors and windows • Spiders in the shower • Loose or missing door handles • No working water meter, even though I was told utilities were prepaid • The water that was supposedly “available until the meter is sorted” ran out within hours — leaving me unable to shower, use the bathroom, or care for my child after a long move. The incoming inspection wasn’t even done with me present, which is completely unacceptable. Within days, due to all these issues and the lack of rectification, I cancelled the lease. Yet despite their breach, I have still not received my refund for my deposit or rental, even after countless follow‑up emails. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, Rawson Gillitts pushed me from pillar to post and told me to deal directly with the landlord — failing completely in their role as the managing agency. Moving across provinces is stressful enough. Having my furniture delivered to the wrong unit, incurring extra costs, and being left without water or a safe living space made this experience even worse. At this point, I am still waiting for my money to be refunded, and the lack of accountability from both the agent and the branch is completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Rawson Gillitts or working with this agent — the service I received was unprofessional, negligent, and dishonest.
Half of the pizza I got was burnt and is inedible. It's supposed to be Club pizza but looks absolutely nothing like it. I'm very disappointed that I wasted my money. Unfortunately since it was an online delivery order, I couldn't even return it, nor has my complaint been received accordingly.
I purchased dunked wings from KFC Rondebosch Main , which turned out to be more like dipped wings because they were so dry and tasteless. I should have just purchased normal hot wings and saved my money. I'm so disappointed.
Yesterday, I recharged my Vodacom account with R29 airtime. Then I bought 100mb 7-14 days for R16. This morning I receive a message stating that I have 25mb remaining. I switch off my mobile data and then receive another message stating that I have 9mb left and then another simultaneously, stating that my data is depleted. Bare in mind that my mobile data was off. I try to make a phone call and I'm told I have insufficient airtime. I don't even understand how that is even possible because I was supposed to have R13 airtime remaining after my data purchase. I am so infuriated right now because 100mb depleted overnight AND R13 airtime too. I'm sick of this.
I've been experiencing problems with Vodacom . For the past months , every time I recharge with R25 airtime or more, R10 rand airtime disappears. I''ve continuously tried contacting the Vodacom Call Centre to find out what exactly is happening , but each time I call they tell me that the line is busy and I need to call later. For how long do I need to contend with losing airtime with no explanation. If it's not the data that depletes rapidly, it's the airtime that disappears . I'm very frustrated and annoyed.
