Incopetence from Discovery Bank
Although my accounts are in good standing, the bank has redirected funds (almost R3000 daily) from my transmission account to my credit card account over the last 8 days. In an effort to resolve this, I cannot get past the call centre to speak to a supervisor or a manager, and all that the call centre will do is "escalate" the issue. Since reporting this three days ago, and following up every day, I'm no closer to an answer. My advise: DON'T BANK WITH DISCOVERY BANK!

Rude staff
Checkers Athlone Park staff at the bakery and tills are very rude, and think that getting into an argument with customers is ok. Will definitely avoid them going forward

MAKRO-THE MOST UNCARING COMPANY IN SA
Faulty product returned to Makro Online for assessment by manufacturer. Makro sent it to the wrong supplier. Advised them on 20 September of the mistake and when I followed up 2 weeks later I was told that the case had been closed. By today, 20 October, the item has still not been collected for redistribution to the correct supplier. ONE MONTH OF NO ACTION! 😟

Good service from Ecomerzpro
Ordered Gear Earpods Pro and immediately got an order comnfermation and reference number. 4 days later the order was shipped from their warehouse & a link to a tracking site provided. Order tracking was a bit vague and order didn't appear at first, but that's the fault of the courier not loading the order on their system for some time. Got my order a few weeks later in good condition, and the product works superbly.

Unacceptable service
The conduct of some of the male waiters in this restaurant are more akin to a shebeen than a family restaurant. Loud shouting across the restaurant floor and wrestling with female waiters, in full view of customers. On two occasions, yesterday morning, I had a chair shoved into my leg by one of these unruly thugs. Complaining to the manageress was futile, and she was spotted soon afterwards walking hand in hand with one of them in the aisle. Thank goodness there are at least 10 other restaurants in the mall we can enjoy a meal in a customer friendly environment.
