I have to use a wheelchair to get around most days, but still love to do odd jobs with wood. All my tools were ******, but I am building up my inventory again slowly but surely. I went into your Gansbaai store yesterday morning to buy a circular saw, a wheelbarrow and some odds and ends. I was helped by the wonderful staff, just like all the other times I was there. Especially Heinrich, who is a fantastically friendly and helpful young man. A true asset to your company. I had a horrible fall coming down the ramp inside the store. My wheelchair tipped over and I hit the ground a hell of a shot. Within 5 seconds, I had ALL the staff around me. They picked my LARGE body up and placed me on a chair. All the time making sure I was ok. Thank you Buco Gansbaai for your care, and for helping me, after I looked like a Steenbras out of water on the floor. To top it all, when the delivery driver dropped off my wheelbarrow and other stuff, he asked if I was ok. Now that's a store you can be proud of. Yours faithfully A dedicated Buco supporter for life
I have to congratulate Bobgroup on the excellent service I received from Neo Letsoalo wrt a late delivery from Bobshop. Literally within 10 minutes of my call, I received emails initiated from Neo to every party involved. The item I bought will be delivered tomorrow. Thank you Neo. You are amazing. Thank you Bobgroup for employing a fantastic peoples person too.
I placed a R10 000 order with Makro Online on 26th December 2024. The reason I bought it at Makro was because they could deliver on the 30th December. I have tracked my delivery on 27th and saw that it was packed and awaiting courier pick up on the 26th already. When I checked on 30th at 11h00, I saw that it still hadn't been allocated to a courier yet. I called the USELESS helpline and was told it will "probably" be delivered tomorrow. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I only spent my hard earned money with Makro because of the delivery schedule. NEVER AGAIN. Stay away from Makro online. When I called at 12h00, the agent stated she will call me back. 3 hours later still nothing. I have then tried to call 6 times. Every time I was told the same thing. WAIT. When I asked to speak to a manager on 2 occasions, I was conveniently cut off. Every time I called I had to say the same damn story again and again. Ridiculous. Makro....please don't copy and paste your standard response. I called the head office 3 times and got no answer. I give up.
Wow is all I can say. Absolutely wonderful people. Made the pain of car hire as smooth and hassle free as possible. Heinrich and his team are so professional and willing to discuss your requirements. Clean, well maintained car. Dropped off and collected. Thank you Heinrich. You guys are amazing man. Market related prices. But, for this service, I would pay more. Don't tell Heinrich. Definitely recommend this company. After trying soooo many.

I was totally blown away by the professional, friendly manner I received at the Paarden Island store. After I was so disappointed when calling the Epping branch. Having the phone put down on me without a 'Thank you ma'am.' Or anything. Kreesha, I believe his name was at the Paarden Island store, you truly are a FANTASTIC customer liaison sir. You took the time and effort to explain everything to me about car wrapping. THANK YOU sooooo much. I will travel past Epping and come to your store forever more. And will continue to shout your branches name, and yours, from every rooftop I find.
I cant stress enough how wonderful these people are. They go far and beyond the typical after sales service. I bought a lazy-boy from them 7 years ago. EVERY time I had a small problem with it, they collected and fixed the issue. Nothing was too much for them. Thank you Wakefords. You will always be my number one furniture store

Thank you Larry for your kind and extremely speedy response. Was having a terrible start to the day, and you just made me feel so much better. If I could vote 50 stars, I would.
Please be careful when seeing a job offered that sounds too good to be true. This site states that you can earn between R500 and R800 an hour doing simple tasks online. Yeah right. They charge you R360 to register. Then you have to pay an amount, which varies, to apply for different small jobs. The job is not guaranteed. STAY AWAY. The advert is introduced with an American voice over. I found out that it is based in India. Not that I am biased, but if it sounds and smells fishy, it normally is a fish.
I am sitting on my very old Lazy Boy that I bought at Wakefords Fish Hoek almost 8 years ago. I am disabled and this chair has been my life all these years. The poor thing is so broken now. But I have to share what Wakefords did for me. After the warranty had expired after 5 years, I called the store and asked them to guide me to someone that could fix my ailing chair. They fetched it and repaired it for me......FREE OF CHARGE. This was amazing but they didn't stop there. They fixed it AGAIN after another 2 years. They are truly amazing. Talk about after sales service. Wakefords stands head and shoulders above the rest. Sadly, I cant ask them again to fix it. lol...That would be pushing it. But, thank you Wakefords. You all are amazing people.
