I took my car (Audi Q5) in for a service 23rd October 2020. I specifically asked for my windscreen washers to be checked as some jets were not spraying onto my windscreen. I also asked for my left headlight to be adjusted as it was shining very low onto the road. I stressed the importance of these items as I was doing a 12hour drive home to St Francis Bay in the morning. I booked the vehicle in with Balan at your Flanders Drive, Mount Edgecombe branch. During the day Balan called me to say the brakes needed skimming as they were squeeking a bit which I agreed to. When picking up the vehicle I asked if the items were done and he said absolutely. The 2 items I asked for were certainly not done and there is a vibration on the steering which seems to be associated to balancing and the brakes are now squeeking which I have not heard before. The engine light has also lit up on the dash a few times but has subsequently gone off. Besides having spent 13 hours on the road with bad lights and unable to wash my windscreen effectively, I am more concerned about the engine light showing. Needless to say the trip was not one that gave me comfort in completing safely. The nearest Bosch service station is a one hour drive from me in Port Elizabeth. I took it up with Balan on the Monday after I got home, he promised to get back to me the next day. He never came back to me. I put the above on the Bosch website. East London Bosch phoned me and said wrong area and they would convey the message to Port Elizabeth which was 2 weeks ago. Havent heard anything still. I know what I asked to be done wasnt but I have zero confidence that any of the work included in the service or the brakes have been done either. Bosch I dont know how to get your attention other than now to HelloPeter. Please revert on a solution. Many thanks Brendon Lahana
Merkado not interested in customers or satisfaction - Absolutely useless rip off of a company with employees to match! I ordered chairs from their website which took 3 MONTHS TO ARRIVE. Clearly they are advertising products without having the stock which comes from abroad so have to wait on the shipping. Anyway, they arrived bubble wrapped but BADLY DAMAGED. I photographed them before unwrapping and told them about it in May 2018. The standard message is they will discuss with management and revert on Monday. Monday never comes and eventually after multiple emails they respond to say they have been off ill and will discuss a reduced price with Management and revert on Monday!!!! I don't want cheaper damaged chairs so have offered to send the chairs back but since then I don't get any response whatsoever. Very frustrating company to deal with. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SHARKS!
I had a phone call from Vodacom yesterday offering to up my package to include more data as I seem to be going over my limit by between R500 and R600 per month. I was quite surprised as I have plenty data left at the end of every month so I reviewed a few of my previous statements. I have noticed daily charges from 4 companies that I have never heard of or subscribed to. • Basebone Mediafilez Silver • Opera Telecom Androidp • SmartcalT Top 10 • VodaphoneL AirG Gold I asked them to investigate and arrange for a full refund of all these unknown charges from inception as I have never engaged them or their services in any way. These charges started appearing on my account without my knowledge! For me to even find out basic information about my account I need to go through multiple questions and verifications of who I am but Vodacom allows these foreign entities to just add themselves to my bill! VERY concerning! VODACOM returned an email to me with an excel spreadsheet saying it was proof of my subscription. It merely shows line items of the content providers with an authorisation result of ‘approved’. This shows NO proof of me subscribing to the services whatsoever. I will not be paying for it any further and insist on a full refund of previous charges. I WILL be handing this over to my attorney and to the necessary social media channels, journalists and tv in order to receive justice for these illegal charges to my account. Vodacom at the very least, if not to blame, does play a part in enabling these transactions to the detriment of their own customers. I can only guess at this point that Vodacom is also getting some sort of financial kickback out of this practice and as such makes them an accomplice! Brendon A DISGUSTED CUSTOMER
