MERKADO ONLINE RIPOFF ARTISTS
Merkado not interested in customers or satisfaction - Absolutely useless rip off of a company with employees to match! I ordered chairs from their website which took 3 MONTHS TO ARRIVE. Clearly they are advertising products without having the stock which comes from abroad so have to wait on the shipping. Anyway, they arrived bubble wrapped but BADLY DAMAGED. I photographed them before unwrapping and told them about it in May 2018. The standard message is they will discuss with management and revert on Monday. Monday never comes and eventually after multiple emails they respond to say they have been off ill and will discuss a reduced price with Management and revert on Monday!!!! I don't want cheaper damaged chairs so have offered to send the chairs back but since then I don't get any response whatsoever. Very frustrating company to deal with. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SHARKS!

Thieving online scam company
Ordered, paid for a rather expensive item. Never received item; numerous e-mails to and from customercare ( misnomer as it does not exist) promising refund that never happened. Phone number does not exist. Premises listed as address is in a security complex - does not answer calls. THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM ARTIST!!!

beware of Merkado
I ordered a carpet cleaning machine in May 2018 and never received it and never gotten hold of anyone on the landline provided, now the number says it doesn't exist. I have emailed and emailed and was promised a refund which I still haven't received.

Caution! 120 days later promised refund of R1060 .00 not done
It is now 120 Days since Merkado took my money for a small gate. R1060.00 was the beginning of a fine promise. However after waiting for 6 weeks no delivery was made, and on inquiry I learned that Merkado had a problem dispatching the item. After another couple of weeks of patience, again on inquiry only, I was told that the problem is still there. Offering to refund me in full. I declined as I did want the gate, and waited again. Again no contact or delivery for several weeks, so I contact them again and tell them (email) that I do want my money back please. They ask me for a Bank Account number, which is always suspicious, as they should revers my Paypal Payment, so I supply this (email), but again there is no response and now I sit with a loss of interest of +- R 40.00 on top of it. These People really do not care. My correspondence has been with both ********** and ********** and the telephone line is 'experiencing technical problems" Incredible Thomas
