I paid R8,000 admission deposit in December 2024 to Midland International School to secure placement for the 2025 academic year for two kids. I later submitted written notice within the required deadline and completed all necessary documentation indicating that my kids would not be returning to the school in the next academic year, in full compliance with the school's stated refund policy and I don't owe the school. Despite complying with the process, the school has refused to refund my deposit and has not provided any reasonable justification or breaking down of actual costs incurred to support retaining the funds. I have now lodged a formal complaint with the National Consumer Commission, and the reference number is: CC2026/02/0442 I hope the school will reconsider its position and resolve this matter fairly and professionally. Please Parents let's raise this complaints with the National Consumer Commission so this can raise flag about the school.

Worse car I have ever driven in my life, I bought Ford Eco Sport in July 2019, the car it's basically 2 years old and with 25500 mileage, last week Saturday the car broke down without giving me any indication or some sort and I was with my kids, the trauma on my kids it's was unbelievable. I called my insurance, they towed the car to midrand dealership Monday morning, same day I received a call from them telling me that they have my car and they will look @ it, the following day they call me again telling me "they think the problem it's a clutch" and they have to check the gearbox and they quoted me r6000 for a 2 year old car that it's under warranty, my question is why I have to pay so much for a new car, the story doesnt end there. On Wednesday they call me again saying the clutches are worn out they have to change them and the total amount will be R14000 for a new car that for the past two years I have been WFH driving less 10 mileage a day when dropping my kids to school, how possible that clutches can just get worn out when most of the time the car it's parked. I'm frustrated and furious even today I'm still waiting for an update regarding the car, I have asked them to borrow me a car since I don't have any means of transport they say they don't have cars but they want me to pay big amount for their manufacturing faulty even someone who doesn't know anything about cars, they can tell that this it's a straight forward manufacture issue but now my pocket has to pay for that, I'm not happy at all with Ford regretting my decision to buy a car from them.
Telkom mobile insurance, not sure how the business operates, their service it's bad and disgusting, since I opened a claim last month in March, until today I'm still waiting for my replacement phone. when I follow-up no response and calling their call centre no answer and this it's frustrating since they still debit me for insurance.
The Kia dealer in Kramerviille the service is bad, today morning I had to drop -off my car for service, they manage to give me a lift back to work in the morning, in the afternoon they say I have to make a plan for me to get to my car even telling them that it impossible to arrange for a lift as my car is with them and the car was ready to be collected @ 13H30 but still they can't offer me a lift to come and get my car. what a very bad service that they offering to their customer, thinking that I'm paying them for servicing my car.
I bought a couch three week ago on the 27th of August with Jahne du plessis interiors online store and I paid the couch cash same day and I being told that they will place my order once my payment has been cleared meaning when the money is reflecting on their account and they told me that my couch will be delivered on the 12th or 13th of October, after seven working days of the purchase, ok I accepted that because is according to their terms and condition On the 12th the day of delivery no one is calling me or arranging with me regarding the delivery, I had to sent them an email checking what happening, they gave me details of the guy who was suppose to do the delivery and I called the guy with airtime asking him what happening, the guy told me that he's waiting for stock from the warehouse the couch is not delivered as yet but the following day the couch will delivered cutting the long story short, the couch was delivered after two days with a different colour I ordered. The nextday Jahne du plessis interior, they send me an email about the delivery fee that I need to pay without calling me and asking if I received the couch in a right condition and if is what I ordered no, they just telling me about the delivery money that I am supposed to pay. The owner Jahne calls me after replying to their email with what I mentioned above, telling me that they will come and pickup the couch and remanufacture the couch for me with the right colour, I experienced the same thing again.....they were suppose to pickup the couch yesterday still they didn't pitch, no calling and letting me know what happening, today morning Jahne is calling and telling me that the pickup with happen between 4pm to 4h30pm, I had rush from work to @ home to make sure I'm @ home during that time to accommodate them, I waited and calling and that time I'm the one's calling checking what happening, they end up pitching up @ my place @ 7:30 pm to pick-up the couch since from 4pm. I hope that I will get my couch this time around without going through too much trouble, the store customer service is very poor and bad and they are not even professional.
