I would say bad management but management and staff are friendly but the toilet are the worst. If it's not a lack of toilet paper, unflushable handles and doors not closing in the ladies bathroom. Please fix it, it's been too long. It's actually become a custom that it's the first thing customers ask. Do they flush? Before they use it. It's already expected for them to be in bad condition. Renovate and please make them baby and family friendly. It is a family place after all.
I did my shopping at Power fashion factory for the Easter holidays, X2 tops said size Large, and i didn't have time to try them, So when i got home they obviously didn't fit. A week later when i went back to the shop for either Refund, Credit on a Lay buy or anything really, The same sales person i found said no refunds or exchange, and then called his manager to have a private discussion about me where she then shook her head and said no refund. the store does not have that policy, How come this two including the manager of Maake Plaza said i could have a refund or exchange. For my friend to go and ask a different sales person the next day and they said YES! they do refund.
When I got in the room I could literally see the dust on the windows with my naked eye. The mirrors were cracked and had spots on them. The day time service was terrible, the sewage blew up twice on the passage to the pool, and electricity was cut off during our stay. The worst thing was, when I asked if they do cleaning service they said, only to charge us on the deposit when we left. Accidents happened due to negligence and when I wanted to report the sewage burst , the reception was never available. We had to wait 5 Min everytime to enter for her to open the gates. It's truly the dishonesty of the cleaning that set me off, how can you give me 6 plates and cups + cutlery and say that it's extra charge to clean because it takes longer to wash exactly what is offered. Schelems is what sunrise beach resort is. My sister booked accomodation with a pet and after she was charged extra for the pet without being told. Sunrise beach resort will find a way to take your deposit away.
After working hard all month i wanted to spoil myself and lil sister to some take out. After the long wait of servers loosing my receipt and not calling my number, while others were being called, i stood there in an uncontrolled environment with customers less than 1.5 m social distancing. One lady looked like she was about to cry because of the wait. I finally got up to find that my online ordered food was already there, but there was no order. The much anticipated wait finally arrived ...to find a dry butter, with missing ingredients and the top of a tomato peel but no tomato. The anger, disgust and disappointment.
Twice I have arrived at the shop 30 min in advance of closing time, but I was kicked out, I have spoken to the store manager about what they have posted as closing times, he was quite rude, and said kept saying it will be changed but was not, I was not assisted, he said in order to keep his job he can't assist me, and said there is no one above him. For customer service directly from the manager this stores get 0, both of the jumbos in polokwane;because as a manager like that, what are you teaching your staff, staff that is rude from the gate, people only turn their faces from when you ask to speak to the manager,.... No this is not right. Their attitudes are not towards customers service but towards knock off times.
