To whom it may concern, I am emailing you regarding PATHETIC customer service directly from the manager (who says his name is Daniel) and the teller (who says her name is Thembelihle) at your Jumbo Crown Mines Store. Arguing and raising your voice with us customers in the aisle on their incorrect pricing for the same items which was done by their staff. Blaming it on previous customers moving merchandise - however a customer cannot price the item, ONLY staff can price the system. They had the same items on sale for R39.99 and again the same item with the same barcode, for R197.99 . It's the responsibility of the staff to make sure the pricing and merchandise are always correct. Within the service industry the customer is always right - Ombudsman and NCC , the customer has the right to disclosure of information and right to fair and responsible marketing. Why would we ever want to come back again ,knowing if we come back then this is the kind of attitude and treatment to expect. What a disappointment for our first tine experience. Kindly can someone attend to this matter to ensure it doesn't happen again and your customers do not leave unhappy. As for whoever is in the office, Muslim man named Noor, next time don't mock your customers and make side lined comments. Utterly rude. We work in the retail industry so we are well aware of how it works with customers. Entitlement of that level is disgusting. Maybe if you handled the situation with care and respect , we would have left as happy customers and there would have been no reason for bad reviews.

I am so disappointed with Jumbo/ Finro in Gqeberha. There was a special for Female and Male Yardley packs for R194.95 I went to them and their prices weren’t updated. Upon that they then informed me that it was advertised incorrectly. The adverti*****t was supposed to read “per pack” or “each pack” and not “Female and Male for R194.95”. I feel like this so disappointing and it was their error. They should’ve double checked that all grammatical mistakes, when it comes to promotions especially, are thoroughly reviewed. As a result they wanted me to pay R194.95 for the female deodorant pack plus another R194.95 for the male deodorant pack. Where as I had budgeted and planned to pay R194.95 for both packs as it was advertised like that. I was there today. Jumbo is very disorganised, to say the least.

I am sick and tired of being spammed by info@marketing.cashandcarry.co.za. I have many times unsubscribed, but their junk keeps on coming into my mailbox. If you pay someone to manage your marketing apps and messaging, they need to get someone who can do a better job, when I click "unsubscribe" I expect the spam to stop. I will not play cleanup for this mail thrash.

I left the shoes in atteridgeville coz i was thinking that i will be back before time. The cashier was very rude to me and she said i must take the shoes and sell it because there's nothing she can do. I asked for head office numbers so that i can asked them to help me if they can,she refused to give it to me. The shoes are still in good condition ,price tag still attached and they are on normal price

I am highly disappointed in Jumbo Cash 'n Carry Epping. I was treated like a dog by customers. When I asked the cashier for help she joined the customers and started attacking me. Shouting I should go back to my country. The security guard come over and asked me to leave the shop. This is not how you treat human beings even if they are not South African. What is worse is the employees of the shop joining in with customers and shouting xonophibic slures. It is disgusting and disturbing andi hope something will be done about this.

I am a customer at Jumbo at Sebokeng Thabong mall. Love the fact that they have great clothing at an affordable price. So I have been making lay byes and pay them off. So I went on a business trip for 3 months and I had 2 of my lay byes with them. Recently came back and I went the with my id to let them know that my lay byes have expired. If possible, can I get refund and see if I can purchase anything else. Man did I get the most horrible experience of my life. They cashier checked for me and saw that both my lay byes had expired. She then called the manager (she is light skinned and chubby lady and didn't have her name badge on)for assistance. The manager was told that I wanted a refund. Number one she did not greet me,2 she did not even ask me what happened for both lay byes to expire. She didn't even suggest that would I consider even buying something else. She was shouting at me Infront of the entire store and I have never felt so embarrassed and humiliated in my life. I told her that I don't have my slips with but however I have my id with.and I would have bought something else in the store. She refused to assist me and told me she will not refund me If I don't buy something else. Mind you this is a threat that if I don't buy anything they will with hold my money. She then continued to scold at me saying us customers we are used to making lay byes and then cancelling and wanting a refund. She said she will end up closing down like PQ ( referring to the clothing store next to them that recently closed down) because of customers like me. I don't see If it was necessary for her to mention PQ or how is that relevant to me or my situation. The reasons of the closure of PQ are solely with PQ not with me. And if she has concerns that is something she should be discussing with management not with me. I found it rude that she would generalize me with other customers and refusing to help just because I didn't have the slips and I explained to her that anyone can forget about the whereabouts of the slips especially after 3 months. It can happen to anyone. And the fact that I went to the store with my id should show that I still have interest in the store. And if you are a regular it's hard to just walk out of the store when you have cash in your hands to that you can dispose off. And I believe that refusing to grant people their money is a crime. That is my money. And I should have a choice how I spend it however I like. The fact that I normally go there to buy If I want to buy I will buy she would have just made suggestions and I would have followed through. I will not be forced or bul**** into buying if I don't want to and if I don't like what they have in stock is ok , I can still come back some other day like I normally did. Everyone has freedom of choice. I repeat IT'S my right excersice choice in the store. For her to force me to buy and threaten me that she will not give me my money if I don't buy is infringement of one's rights. Even now I have not been refunded. Imagine how many customers have suffered humiliation from this manager. A manager is seen a a solution finder. It's every customers dream to be assisted by the manager. It's shameful to suffer bad customer service from a person who is supposed to be a pillar and expert of customer service. But if we are experiencing such from the place we often hope to find solutions at it's dissapointing. She would have rather suggested that I look at the new stock and see if I find anything that I liked. I would have bought something. And I am/was a regular customer and Suzan one of the cashier's normally assists me and by the way she is awesome. I really love Jumbo but after such an experience. I don't think I want to go there after being shouted like a naughty little school girl. My name is Motshabi Mahlophe. My number is 0783460939 but please rather email me on motshabi.mahlophe@ymail.com because of the line of work I do. Please email me looking forward to your response.
