Thank you to the people at Lombard Tyres in Blairgowrie. I had my aircon filled, and my tyres balanced and aligned at a very good price. I am a regular customer at the Blairgowrie branch on Conrad Drive. I always receive service with a smile and everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Lombard Tyres, Blairgowrie.
Excellent service and quality workmanship at affordable prices. Thank you Donnie and David. You guys did an awesome job in repairing my vehicle. I'm very happy and will certainly refer my friends and family to you.
Jasmine was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. She was understanding and compassionate. Well done, and thank you.
On Friday, 30 August 2024 at around 2pm I was unfortunately the victim of a car accident that was not caused by me. It happened on the corner of Jan Smuts Ave and Hillcrest Road. As usual, the vultures from First Help Towing arrived within minutes, driving like reckless idiots to the scene of the accident. At first their tow truck driver, MR Q (as he calls himself) was very helpful and explained the whole process of having to tow the car to the Outsurance Vehicle Assessment Centre in Sandton so that the assessor can look at the damages sustained to my vehicle and suggested that I don't drive my car because it can cause further damage which will not be covered by the insurance company in the 3rd party claim. He even confirmed where my vehicle would be taken to with the 2 other First Help tow truck drivers (Mervin and Chris) who were also on the scene. It turns out that my vehicle is now at some storage facility in Industria, Roodepoort! Very, very far from Sandton! Mr Q even brought me home from the accident scene (thanks for that). I received a call from First Help this morning to ask me when I am coming to pay for the storage and sign for the release of the vehicle. ***???? A cost of R13 915-00. I am 63 years old (a pensioner) and don't have this kind of money. With prices as they are, I am already battling from month to month to make ends meet. On following up with the status of the third party claim with Outsurance, I have been told that Outsurance will not pay for the storage fees. I am FURIOUS!!!!!! How do these tow truck drivers sleep at night knowing that they have **** and ****med victims of car accidents (that are clearly in shock and traumatised at the scene of an accident) into towing their cars to storage and telling the victims "don't worry, it's a 3rd party claim. You won't have to pay anything. The insurance of the other driver will pay for the costs". THIS IS NOT TRUE, you ****s! May God forgive you. Outsurance will NOT pay for the storage and will only SUBSIDISE car hire in 3rd party claims if you need a vehicle to do you work, but they will decide. How do I get my car out of storage??? Maybe I COULD have driven my car home or I could have called a more reputable company to come and assist with my vehicle at the crash site and tow it to my house for the assessor to see it there. Watch out for these guys!
FOLLOW UP COLONOSCOPY AFTER HEMICOLECTOMY: What does this say to you? An emergency Hemicolectomy was performed on me on 7 September 2022 at Sandton Mediclinic. The surgeon stated in his written post op report that a FOLLOW UP COLONOSCOPY is needed after the serious operation. One would think the follow up colonoscopy forms part of the Hemicolectomy performed in order to check that everything inside is working as it should and Bonitas should cover the costs. WRONG!! When I went for the follow up colonoscopy I had to pay a co-payment of R5000 (which I didn't have due to financial difficulty) to the Sandton Mediclinic as my gastroenterologist was asked to do the follow up colonoscope as he was the Dr to suspect a problem in his consulting room on 6 September 2022 as I had a large mass in my abdomen that was not there before and recommended a CT scan on 7 September 2023 (I had been battling with abdominal pain for more than a year prior to this date despite going to a Bonitas Network Hospital and using their Network Gastroenterologist who failed to do a CT scan to find out the reason for my pain after an inconclusive colonoscopy in February 2022. This stint used up all my hospital allowance. The pain was so severe that I could not perform at my best on a daily basis. On 7 September I had a CT scan and my abdominal pain was so bad that I could barely keep still in order for the radiologists to get decent images. From Radiology, I was admitted to theatre for emergency surgery to fix the twisted colon (which was life threatening at that stage) and then into ICU for 7 days post op. Bonitas kindly paid everything in full for the emergency surgery. To this day, Bonitas has refused to refund the full co-payment and refused to pay the Dr who performed the follow up colonoscopy in full. Surely this is part of the Hemicolectomy to ensure that the operation was a success. I am very disappointed in Bonitas. I have been a member since 2019 and don't have many claims. At the age of 61 I will never use my "maternity benefits" but still pay my medical aid subs in full each month. Surely Bonitas can refund the co-payment in full and can pay my Dr for the colonoscopy - all part of the hemicolectomy guys! Wake up, this isn't rocket science.
False advertising! You say you are rated the No. 1 Medical Aid in South Africa? No 1 of what? I NEED THIS AUTHORISATION NUMBER BEFORE 10AM TOMORROW (9 MARCH 2023). The I.C.D.10 code you have recorded for this procedure is incorrect - it should be K62.5 - who captured the incorrect information on this???? You have it as K62.3 - ***? Who is so stupid that they don't know the difference between a 5 and a 3? In Feb 2022 I was admitted to one of your Network Hospitals, Netcare Waterfall City to be factual. I spent a week there, having a gastroscope and a colonoscope. The Dr who did the procedures was a foreigner and his communication in the English language left much to be desired. The procedures were done and I was ready to go home, but they kept me there for an extra 2 days. I am sure Bonitas paid for those two days and all my hospital funds were used up. A month later, my abdominal pain returned to such an extent that I was incapacitated and unable to perform my duties at work to the best of my ability. The gastroscope that was done was incomplete and was not followed up with a CT scan to find out why the doctor could not get passed a certain point in my colon. When I was released, I took my diagnosis notes to my GP to interpret for me. That is how bad it was. My pain continued. Dr Botha requested, on several occassions for a colonoscopy authorisation so that he could complete the investigation. Bonitas (as usual) never approved it because Sandton Clinic is not 'ON THEIR ****** NETWORK'!!!!! I had already wasted my time (and hospital benefits) in February 2022 and was desperate for some assistance. On 6 September 2022 I went to my gastroenterologist, Dr J Botha at the Sandton Clinic as I have been a patient of his for the last 12 years and the abdominal pain I was experiencing was beyond describable. My entire abdomen was in tremendous pain and I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't move my legs without screaming out in pain. On physical examination, he found a mass protruding out of my chest (between my lungs and immediately requested that I go for a CT scan the following morning. I went for the CT scan and the diagnosis was that I had a caecal volvulus (severely twisted colon for those that are not advanced in medical terms). I was admitted to theatre immediately and an emergency operation that saved my life was performed. God bless Dr Botha and Dr Lowton. A part of my colon was removed and I spent 7 days in ICU and 6 weeks in recovery before I could go back to work. Now, 6 months down the line, I need to go for a FOLLOW UP colonoscope to see how my body has handled the right hemi-colectomy. I have tried for ONE MONTH to get an authorisation code for the gastroscope. My broker has also tried. Dr Botha has also tried - but no authorisation has been forthcoming. Due to a bad experience at the Netcare Waterfall Clinic and a waste of my medical funds, I do not want to have my colonoscopy performed at that hospital. The doctors who literally saved my life are at SANDTON MEDI-CLINIC. They did the operation in September 2022. This gastroscope that is being requested is PART OF THAT EMERGENCY SURGERY MATTER - IT IS A FOLLOW UP!!!! The unhelpful untrained, unknowledgeable people at Bonitas find that hard to understand. I am booked to have the colonoscopy with Dr Botha tomorrow. I have done the whole pre-procedure prep exercise in order to have it done tomorrow. I do not have R15 000 to pay for a co-payment because Bonitas (who is quick to take my premiums on time every month, in full) does not understand or doesn't want to understand. We have been pushed from pillar to post to get a simple authorisation number and you cannot get any help from someone higher than the call centre. WHAT PATHETIC SERVICE! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICES TO ANYONE. The last time you declined to give me authorisation for a colonoscopy (which would have cost much less) you ended up paying more than R200 000 for my emergency surgery. Do you not learn??? Just a heads-up: I will be reporting your false advertising to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission which is my right according to According to section 41 of the CPA where it states nobody is allowed to make false, misleading or deceptive representations in words and conduct, directly or indirectly, about a material fact of goods and services. South Africa's #1 Medical Aid - REALLY???? This had better be attended to as a matter of urgency. I am only getting started. 47002770906 [MI1194680615]
Game and RCS must have THE worst customer service ever! Yes, I am irritated and ****ed off. I have had an account with Game for over 5 years and never missed a month's payment. I have never asked for my limit to be increased either. During lockdown I requested a payment holiday for a month. What a ****** stupid idea! In the beginning of Oct I needed a new iron so I went to the Game store because they had irons on special. BEfore I went to chisel the iron I went to the credit dept in the store to find out if I could buy on my account since I paid a double installment to make up for the payment holiday. I was assure that I could buy on my account. HOWEVER when I got to the till point and the very friendly lady had rung up my purchase, I was told that the card was blocked and I need to go to the in-store credit dept. Since I had just come from there, I was not happy. After spending 30 mins waiting, only to be told I need to send some documentation to claims@rcsgroup. No problem. On 5 Oct I sent them the documentation, still living in hope. On the 12th Oct I called them. The nice lady said she sees documentation has arrived and she will escalate it. Right! I called them again today because I have still not received a call from them. They now need to do an affordability assessment, which they will escalate. ***!!! How long does this take, or must one put it on Hello Peter in order to get some help with this minor problem. I am not holding my breath!!!!
SOAPBOX MOMENT: Has anyone ordered from Zando and not received their goods? I ordered some shoes on 25 April 2018 and their courier delivered the parcel but the parcel is nowhere to be found. I have been in contact with them several times and keep getting told that the matter is under investigation but they have their money and I don't have my shoes. I am completely irritated by the lack of service delivery. Why should this be my problem? Just send a new pair of shoes, surely????? Where did their courier deliver the parcel to? Who signed for it? Apparently they delivered it to our reception at 6.30pm on Monday, 30 April at 6.30pm. Well guess what - our offices are closed at 6.30pm! We have no receptionist sitting at her desk at that hour. WHERE ARE MY SHOES????? Don't ever stand between a woman who knows what she wants and her shoes! FFS!!
