Absolutely no support in South Africa. No call center in South Africa. Have to wait for some foreign persons to call you with a accent that you do not understand and then the call gets cut. After 5 attempts they tell you have to try again another time. They keep delaying the problem , hoping you will forget about it.
I asked to have my eyeliner and lip blush done by Suzanne as she had a special on. She asked me to do a eft ahead of time which I wasn't too comfortable with but did it anyway. The lips was R950 so I said it's going to be too much for me because you still have to pay for the touch up. She then said if I eft the R950 immediately she will include the touch up so I did. So anyhow i said to her we must set a date for my touch up. Then she tells me i must pay all this money for the touch up. I said to her no you said the lip touch up is free. She said why would she tell me it's free? I send her the messages where she told me so. Then she said sorry she made a mistake but she cannot do it for free. Understandably I was ****ed. I told her I now wasted R950 on that. Plus I paid an extra R340 for shading that was not done. That money is gone too. The eyeliner touch up now went from R650 to R990. And that's where everything went down hill. All was good in the beginning when I was paying though. She also told me to stop my warfarin for 3 days before the procedure. I put myself at risk for an embolism. I did not know this until I spoke to my doctor. He was not happy. I trusted her because she said she tells all her clients on blood thinners to stop a few days before the procedure. So anyway after speaking to my doctor I decided to go for the touch up and typed out an indemnity form that she won't be liable if anything goes wrong with me. I only did this because i didn't have any severe bleeding the first time. But she was actually by no means qualified to tell me to go off my meds to begin with. And I was stupid to listen to her. Anyway like I said everything went downhill. We started fighting back and forth and I said I will never ever recommend her. She then said my attitude is concerning to her. Then she says ok she will do my lips in which I declined. Why on earth would I allow her to touch my face after all that bickering. I'm just so upset because i spend in total R 1940 and what i got was one session eye liner and one session lip blush. In the beginning i was concerned about how my eyes looked. I then realised it was just the bad bruising and swelling. I apologised to her and said that its actually looking nice. And after that is where the money issues started. Please ladies do your homework and don't be fooled by pictures.
I absolutely love buying from takealot. It's so much fun shopping online and you get your goods so fast. What's a big attraction for me though is I have no hassles if i want to return something. It so effortless. I will definitely recommend them over any other online store. Service is key.
Firstly they don't deserve any stars. I have now been waiting for days for them to load my R100 that u deposited. They took the money but it never reflected in the app. I send proof of payment to the email address they gave me and still no response. Now my emails to them are bouncing back. I also can't get any help online because there is always 50 or more people waiting in line so I can't afford the airtime This is a scam by the looks of it. I think it's time for the Omnudsman to now look into this company. Way too many people is having trouble getting their money.
