Instagram store that scams people. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from this person. They have pretended to be hacked before all because their account was reported for fraudulent activity. She will collect your money and NOT send your goods.
I had been toying with the idea of going to Dr Wade Merchants clinic in Green Point because of the beaming reviews but was greatly disappointed with the service. I called in for a peel to address my hyper***mentation and was greeted well when I arrived. The problem started once I got in the room. The lady did not consult me in terms of what is best suited for my skin. She just plastered on a “peel”, which literally had no supposed sting or peel/shed after effect. I had to ask her as she proceeded what exactly she was putting on and the process. She barely addressed me outside of my questions. I wrote them an email explaining my disappointment and received no feedback in return. Just to show their level of unprofessionalism. It was a dreadful cold experience. I don’t wish that clinic on anyone.
I have an agent by the name of Lindsay in the Cavendish branch that I work with religiously. She’s easy to work with, responds accordingly and is extremely efficient. I’d recommend her to anyone. We’re yet to be disappointed by the Pentravel family! Fabulous bespoke packages
After we had our Sushi, a waiter by the name of Nkosi came and offered us complimentary desert. When the bill came, it was charged on our bill which was confusing but we paid regardless. When confronted about the issue he acted shocked and confused- insincerely at that with a misogynistic attitude. I was very unimpressed with the way he conducted himself and hope he will be dealt with for misleading us and being extremely rude.
I went to the Cavalli wine estate for a wine tasting. We were led to the outside area of Equus restaurant. The lady there told us the seating was full and we can sit on the restaurant side- because we also wanted a cheese platter. A waiter by the name of Issac gave us menus then disappeared on us. He left for a solid 10 minutes and didn’t attend to us until we called him. Eventually when he came back, he told us we cannot do the tasting any longer and had to order from the restaurant. After a weak attempt at a liaison between him and the host, he told us we must go and speak to the host ourselves. I have been looking forward to seeing this wine farm and enjoy their facilities but was extremely disappointed.
I have been using Uber for about 2 years and only recently did I notice that more often than not, they do not refund the initial reserved amount for a trip if the trip charges more than the quoted value. They reserve an amount on your card for each trip- I’m assuming to combat any loses. Then at the end of the trip, you get yet ANOTHER debit from your account- mostly a couple rands more than the reserved value. 1. The quoted amount is NEVER what you get charged at the end, no matter which short route you take. The GPS route is almost always the longest route, maximizing the bill, 2. They sometimes reverse the reserved amount in 72 hours but this doesn’t always happen. I only recently discovered this and am sure I have been duped many times before. Some of the reserved monies stay “pending” in your statement but they often just bank it- making us pay DOUBLE for a trip. When I complain, it gives me an automated reply telling me about the bank verifying my bank account and ensuring funds are available. No accountability whatsoever for conning me out of money. I’m very disappointed in Uber for taking advantage of me and many others by scamming us out of money. They keep double charging us- leaving client end up with the shorter end of the stick.
