I have been trying to claim my pension fund since I left my former employer in August 2023. I have been told I did not submit a withdrawal form, which was subsequently sent to me and sent back. Whenever I call to find out the status of my claim, I am constantly told I did not indicate a withdrawal. I reported to the complaints department who promised feedback in 4 business days with no response. I have been assisted by numerous employees who promise to call back with feedback. Not a single one provides feedback.
I have been struggling to recieve back a deposit of 30K i paid in 2021. I think I have been ****med.
Since my last review in April 2023, I still have found no joy or success with the business. The bank has reaffirmed that I do not qualify still for the homeloan, but now Propinvest has further decided now to ignore my calls and emails with regards to my 30K deposit. They continue to have shady business practices.
I’ve had such a terrible experience with Propinvest. They lack professionalism as well as transparency. Long story short, I needed to get the Ombudsman and my attorneys for them to refund me. I app**** for 2 properties- took long (over a year for registration) ended up not getting bank approval. Because of this experience, I requested a refund policy to avoid the experience when refunding my second amount- A month later they do not have a refund policy.

I visited an iParty store in Bloemfontein, Westdene yesterday. My limit for purchase was exceeded, I then requested to do an EFT. I was told it would be an issue as it would need to clear and made to wait for about an hour just to make a payment. Which I eventually did. I requested they order some cases for me and bill me as it was an emergency. I never got any response the whole day and had to call them today. I told them I might be going to Jhb and might maybe go to the supplier myself (which I am aware might not be an option as they are in business themselves) but I felt they were not treating the matter with the urgency it required. I was told to wait for the manager to come back from a meeting. I contacted the Langenghoven branch and requested the cases, they told me they might have some in store but I needed to drive there personally as they can’t get pictures. I told them driving there only to find they don’t have would be futile and requested to send one of them to check during lunch then. They blatantly refused and said I need to drive there.
I bought a bed from Maponya Mall Rochester. The sales assistant was Nicholas. I mentioned that I would be taking it as soon as I moved and the expected time would be around August. I was delayes by the developers and decided I should rather take it and keep it at current address since it has been so long. I was adviced that warehouse would contact me and the delivery would be on Monday the 11th of Dec. I wanted to find out if it were possible to change the delivery to Tues, I was promised a call and no reply. I called the store on Tues to enquire was told the bed was damaged and needed to be re-orded or something, and promised a response which never happened and I had to call again, and told my number doesn’t go through and he was about to call me ( contradictory). I was then told I could opt for a different colour to which I agreed. I still have not recived any communication? This was such poor service.
