On 23 October 2025, I submitted an application for Early Retirement Due to Disability to Allan Gray. I urgently need access to these funds to pay my medical bills. I attached all the required documentation, including medical reports from the specialists who have been treating and diagnosing me for the past 14 years. Despite this, I have not received a single response or update from Allan Gray since the day I submitted my application. I have sent multiple follow-ups and complaints directly to Allan Gray, but they simply ignore me. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable — especially given the serious medical and financial circumstances I am facing. Allan Gray, please take responsibility and resolve this matter immediately. I deserve feedback and access to the funds I have rightfully app**** for. This delay is causing unnecessary emotional and financial distress. Regards. E Miles
On the 4th of July 2025 I've posted a complain on this platform. Very quick Aletta Clarence answered via email that she is handling the case. After numerous emails, and phone calls, NOTHING!!! It seems as if her phone is disconnected ....
HELLO PETER SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY PLATFORM THAT ASSISTS! On 14 July 2025 I've app**** for a personal loan online due to an unforseen emergency. When I called on 15 July 2025 to ask whether they received everything, there were documents missing.... THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO ME, WHAT IF I DIDN'T CALL!!! Tuesday by 10:00 everything was submitted. I've counted now... Since then I've called them 31 times to get feedback. And all the answers..... THEY ARE STILL BISY WITH IT, THEY'LL COME BACK TO ME. Yesterday one even told me he works till 18:00....I'll definitely hear from him by 18:00...NOTHING. This morning I already called twice, same old story. I've been a customer from the time ABSA was AL****, and this is pathetic. I HAVE AN EMERGENCY! If they don't want to grant me the loan, just tell me so that I can try and make another plan. I have a brilliant credit score etc.
On the 4th of July 2025 I've posted a review on the pathetic customer service regarding the arrangement made by me to pay off my debt as I've lost my job. Nthabiseng Sibande, Specialist case manager at ABSA, made contact and with numerous emails that she just brushed off, I've decided to call her. HER CELLPHONE IS SWITCHED OFF SINCE THEN🤬🤬🤬 I NEVER received a Section 129 notice of the national credit act. ABSA practises unfair and discriminating. I DID MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY OFF MONTHLY... and then they handed me over. I am furious. As a humanbeing I also have rights. And ABSA taking it away from me. To loose one's job, isn't a choice!!!!
In 2015 I submitted a disability claim to Metropolitan Life. At the time, I was employed by SARS and was forced to resign due to my medical condition, which rendered me permanently disabled. My claim was declined on the basis that I have resigned and haven't been boarded. My claim was not for occupational disability, but rather a permanent disability unrelated to my specific work environment. I reviewed the policy documents and found no mention of such a distinction that would disqualify my claim based on it being labelled as occupational disability . From 2015 to 2022, my health deteriated and I was in such a bad state, that I just gave up. In 2022, I received advice that my claim should be reassessed, as it was incorrectly declined based on a misinterpretation of the nature of my disability. I therefore requested via endless emails and phone calls that Metropolitan Life re-evaluate my claim based on the original intent — a permanent disability claim, not an occupational one. I've been trying to find answers since 2023, no one answers me!
On 7 July 2024 I've contacted ABSA to make arrangements to pay off my debt due to the fact that I've lost my job. They've asked for an affidavit which I sent the next day. Then they asked for an expenses list, which I sent immediately. My son pays it for me. However, since then they harass me telephonically, threaten me with legal action, etc. I PAY EVERY SINGLE MONTH!!!!! Then they handed me over to Shapiro... AND I'VE BEEN BLACKLISTED. When I spoke to Shapiro they said that they've sent it back to ABSA as I am keeping to the agreement made between ABSA and me. I send lots and lots of emails weekly, calling in vain, to try and resolve this. NOBODY ASSISTS ME!!!

On 24 April 2025 I've ordered from Chicken Licken, Wilgeheuwel, Johannesburg. The driver tried to call me once, I opened the complex's gate and waited for him to come to nr 22 as the instructions are. No-one arrived. Just to receive an email the next moment that said it has been delivered. Because of our ******* country, I always ask for a pin. When I contacted UBEREATS, the pathetic customer service told me to go onto the app. On the app it said it has been delivered, even with a picture of my order, left in front of some or other complex, IN THE STREET!!!!!!! Ubereats is just turning a deaf ear. THIS IS THEFT!!!
