Good day I had a 6 months contract with Edge Fitness, Walker Drive, PE., which I cancelled - agreement was to cancel the contract at the end of the 6th month, which I did, in writing. I explained that my husband could be transferred workwise at any time - reason for only taking a 6 months contract). Their salesman changed the 6 months to 36 months - staff at Edge Fitness said they're aware of this as I'm not the 1st person complaining/reporting it. I went to their office to explain that I cancelled the contract yet they keep on phoning and harassing me. I also explained to them that a Rand Civils truck drove into me causing me to indebt myself with vehicle finance which I didn't bargain for and that I cannot afford to sign a new contract with them (my car was a write-off). (The salesman who assisted me is no longer employed by them) Now I've received an email - notice to the judgement debtor. I followed all the correct steps yet they keep on harassing me and threatening me. What am I to do? I trust to hear from you soonest.
This was my 1st purchase. The app is very user friendly; I chose my items, made an EFT payment and forwarded my proof of payment to them. I received an email notification from them and was kept up to date re picking of items, collection from the couriers and an SMS with delivery details. Fast delivery. Very satisfied client
I signed up for a 6 months contract to decide if I would want to continue at the gym. Today, 6 months later, I found out that the contract is for 3 years and should I want to cancel, I have to pay 40% of the 3 years balance. The lady at Reception confirmed that they have many clients complaining about the same thing. Please I need help. I will never ever in my life sign up for a 3 year contract; I won't even sign up up for a 2 year cellphone contract let alone a 3 year gym contract! The person who responded via email have a very ****y attitude. The person who wrote me up is no longer working there anymore. What do I do now?
I Cxd my policy 3x with them yet they still deduct the money off my bank account and refuse to refund me - the bank stated that the unlimited must sort this out and that they cannot assist me in this regard
I merely made enquiries when money was deducted from my bank account which they now refuse to refund. There's supposedly a 30 day trial period - I cancelled 'membership' on their website, which they now dispute
Excellent service, always very professional and helpful. Would recommend them without a doubt to anyone
After a huge struggle not getting a hold of anyone with after sales service, wanting to cancel my policy out of pure frustration, a lady by the name of Talitha, contacted and assisted me with my problem and gave me peace of mind by sorting out my issue in a calm, understanding manner. Due to her professionalism and good service, I decided not to cancel my policy. I know and understand that we're all frustrated by the Covid-19 situation and that especially during these difficult times, there will be backlogs; we must just be a bit more patient. I am also in a sales environment and am on full alert when it comes to after sales service - which is in general very poor in SA. Good service received
I cxd a policy months ago, yet the d/o still goes off. I brought this under their attention on many occasions, fought with them, and just received another notification that the d/o went off yet again! I just can't get rid of them!!!!!
