I purchased an LG 423L Platinum Silver multi-door fridge for R29 999.99 on 30 July 2023 online from Hirsch's as a gift for my mother, which I requested to be delivered and paid R450.00 for delivery (order number 1000166080) What was a good gesture seems to slowly turn out to be a nightmare. I received an email from Hirsch's stating that the purchase was successful and the fridge would be couriered in 5-7 working days. Those are the only two emails I received from Hirsch's. I did a follow-up with Hirsch's on 5 August and 8 August 2023 to find out the status of the delivery and the consultant who assisted me on the latter date assured me that she would call me back before the end of the day. I waited and I am still waiting for that call. I am not sure what is happening with the delivery. My mother is staying on the outskirts of Rustenburg, I think Hirsch's should clearly state on their website that they do not deliver to areas on the outskirts of towns. I could have purchased this expensive fridge somewhere else. I trusted Hirsch's and thought that they are a reputable store but it seems that I was wrong.
I am going through a horrific experience with ABSA AIMS. Really this is a nightmare. Since submitting my repurchase request form on 18 June 2023, I still have not received my money. Instead, I was informed that the requested money is not in my current balance. I don't understand because I phoned AIMS on 14 June 2023, during which I was informed I have a certain amount of money, reference number, 1-15022314263. There's just no transparency. Now, they want my ID copy, but I have been with AIMS since 2010, and they have my ID. I feel they are playing delay tactics. There is now an investigation conducted. For what!! The reality is that I am struggling to get my money. I am strongly advising those considering investing with AIMS to not, and those with AIMS please get your money. I am sure you will also experience horror.
I emailed ABSA AIMS Investment at aimscc@absa.co.za my repurchase form on 18 June 2023 and resent the email on 21 June 2023 and on two occasions I did not receive an acknowledgement email. I decided to phone on 21 June 2023 and was informed that the two emails were not received. I was asked to resent the email which I did and still did not receive an acknowledgement email. The consultant requested that I should email the repurchase form to her Absa email address which I did. She informed me that if I do not receive an email from her it means she did not receive my email. Well, I did not receive an email from her to date. As a result, I cannot access my funds. I am strongly beginning to suspect that AIMS is now becoming a **** which is sad because I have invested my money with them for over 10 years and have never experienced this situation. I am encouraging people not to consider investing with AIMS because you will struggle to repurchase your funds!
I stayed at Lombardy Meander for three years. My overall experience was good. Igrow attended to maintenance issues swiftly. Mr Byron Bleksley responded to my emails on timeously. I was impressed with the professional inspection conducted by Mr Jadé Pretorius.
My Rain router was delivered on the 9th of January 2023. The device has been offline since the day of delivery. I was informed to reset the device and move it around the house. Still, I have no internet connection. One agent informed me that although the sim card is registered on my side, it is not registered on their side. She informed me to wait for 24 hours. 24 hours have passed, and still, I have no network connection. I am really beginning to think that some of the reviewers are right, My Rain is a scam. I am very disappointed. I am strongly considering requesting cancellation.
My parcel from Amazon was supposed to have been delivered on 19 January 2022. There were various fabricated stories about how I was contacted several times and I did not answer the phone to how the delivery was attempted and my address was not clear. The latest story is "the receiver is located in a remote area therefore additional transit time is required." By the way, UPS claims to aim for excellence and value. I don't see excellence here. Instead, they are now discriminating against receivers living in the so-called "remote areas". UPS should inform Amazon that they don't deliver to customers staying in remote locations in South Africa. Aramex always delivers my parcels from overseas on time. Stress-free!
My parcel from Amazon was supposed to have been delivered on the 19th of January 2022. The driver from Globeflight fabricated a story that he repeatedly phoned me several times and I did not pick up the phone. Now more and more lies are being told to me, including that the parcel has been returned to UPS because the delivery address is not clear. What kind of service is this? The service delivery from Globeflight is utterly appalling. They don't even deserve the one star.
I would not recommend Dawn Wing to anyone. The staff members lie, are poor at keeping records, and lack transparency. Although Dawn Wing states that their mission is to provide service to individuals and businesses within and beyond the borders of South Africa, based on my experience, this is not applicable to all individuals in South Africa. My Waybill number is ********** 453. My parcel was supposed to be delivered on 09/01/2018 but it has not been delivered. Based on my experience, the staff members make customers appear unprofessional. They only record that they called and you did not answer the phone. They don't record that you returned the missed call and did several follow-ups.
