Absa doesn't respond to very very important emails and you can never get hold of them you will spend alot of airtime just trying to get hold of them. Their overall service is absolutely bad compared to competitors.
I was to close my account because I'm not interested in Mrp. As per most of my reviews mrp is always the worst and I've never gotten good service from them. Yesterday I paid my balance and asked to close the account. They then sent me to the guy on the phone who then told me no he can't call to close the account I must call the all center myself. I've been calling since 8 am it's 3pm and a whole 150 rand airtime wasted because they keep redirecting me. MRP I WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT WHY IS IT SO HARD? WHY MUST I WASTE MY AIRTIME! CLOSE THE ACCOUNT I'M NOT INTERESTED IN SHOPPING OR HAVING ACCOUNTS WITH THIS BRAND ANYMORE!
I'm so dissapointed in MRP HOME and their false adverti*****t they have actively participated in. I've bought wallpaper online which clearly states its 10m long. Yet when it got delivered its only 9ms long. The wall space I wanted to cover required 10ms. I do not want to spend another R400+ as well as delivery just for a meter which you have unethically advertised incorrectly. I demand this matter gets immediate attention or I will escalate the matter on grounds of false adverti*****t unethically.
I bought some decor at PEP HOME N1City. When I got home I saw that one item was not packed. I called the store informing the manager (baring in mind this is the second time this happens from the exact same branch) and the manager ( sounding bored and not interested) tells me she will ask her cashiers about it and get back to me) she literally blue ticked the issue and didnt get back to me. You see the problem here is not about the missing item but it's that this has happened twice to me and I feel the manager wasnt interested in handling the situation appropriately. I buy so much things from pep home because IVE GOT 3 HOMES. If a customer comes into the store and has to take even a R5 item without paying they would be in trouble.. but when I store fails to put your items that you paid for in your packet they should be equally punished. Its day light robbery.
After my first complaint on hello peter about Mrp I got victimized literally everytime I went into the store. I only do online purchases because the service in n1 city mrp is so so bad. But when I collect my online orders I get treated like nothing by the Bald man Manager. Last week I was waiting for my order casually browsing through other stuff and the manager walked past and told his cashiers loudly "I see this customer is here" and then he bobbed his head towards my direction. I was disgusted and left. This week when I collected my order the security tells me I cant eat in the store ( I had my babys pie in my hand wasnt going to eat it anyway) then he goes to her and asks her what the problem was with me and they talk as if I'm not standing in the store. I am so nauseated at the service. But I refuse to find another store driving out so much petrol just because the mrp n1 city store isnt giving customers the dignified service they deserve I mean I spend alot of money at mrp every week I buy things. But the service just makes me sick!
I'm so discouraged at the service of Verona at Ackermans N1 city. I was there on Saturday to exchange a few baby items that my daughter got for her birthday. On Saturday I sanitized my hands outside before I entered the store with my own sanitizer (bare in mine I've got psoriasis on my hands and the shop sanitizer burns my skin and makes my hands worst) I had my daughter on my one arms and bags on my other. I told the colored guy I just sanitized and he demanded I give my hand that was carrying my baby to santise. He then spurted the sanitizer all over my daughter. I left the store because I wasn't happy with how the sanitizing process what does and how Verona went on. I then went back the Sunday thinking things would be different. When I entered the store I went to offer to get sanitized because I didn't want an issue again and trust my luck to find Verona again there. And then saying to the staff as I pass them oh is that the girl of yesterday. The one of the sanitizer. I then approached her and said yes it is. She's embarrassing me talking about me and everyone entering the store is looking at her at how unprofessional she is talking to her staff about customers so loud while the customer is in store. I want Ackermans to contact me because this story goes on and I didn't feel to type any further because I'm still very disappointed. I didn't even feel to buy or exchange my daughters things I just asked for a gift card. P. S why was there only 1 manager in store. So if the one manager is acting like a witch with the customers who do you complain to? Ackermans you have officially lost a valued customer I will no longer support Ackermans at all. Thank God for Mrp Baby range so I have another place to buy my baby clothes now.
I'm so tired of the poo service I get from Mrp. I bought something online to be delivered at Mrp Kenilworth. So when I collect my package theres a problem and I dont get it they take my details down( 5days later and they haven't called me) then they have the sneaky audacity to mark my order as delivered like I actually got my package. I've gone back and forth to collect and ask what's happening and they keep saying they will call me back. Mr price you make me sick! I've bought over 2k items in the past month and I didnt want to because the last time I complained about a pj pants ripping they just blue ticked me and wasnt bothered in rectifying AND GIVING PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WANT MY ORDER MR PRICE ! AND I WANT IT TO MY DOOR BECAUSE I DONT HAVE PETROL TO KEEP RUNNING UP AND DOWN TO THE MALL TO COLLECT THE ORDER THAT ISNT THERE!
So happy with the customer service at Legit n1 city. I've became such a regular customer that when I walk past the shop assistants will call me from outside to come in to check out their sales.
I went into sportscene to buy a takkie. I was wearing heels and after a long day of teaching I went to sit first whole waiting for someone to help me. THE guy helper was busy helping 3 men and i waited for him to finished. When he was done he went to help a lady who came in after me. It happened that the lady was the same size and wanted the same takkie as me.. the lady told him she will come back for the takkie the next day. I stood up and requested to fit on the takkie (BARE IN MIND I WAS IRRITATED BECAUSE I WAS THERE BEFORE HER BUT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST) when I saw it fitted I offered to buy it immediately CASH he turned me away and yet I was before that other customer there.. HE TURNED AWAY A CASH OFFER FOR A MAYBE COME BACK LADY YET IT WOULDVE BEEN MINE BUT HE DIDNT WANT TO HELP ME FIRST.
I bought a pj set ( I really really loved it) but then slept literally 1 night in it now it has holes. I'm not happy with this because how can you charge R200 for a pj set and then its R50 quality? What's even more disturbing is that this is my 2nd pj set that I'm buying with holes in. My first set I didnt even wear I returned it immediately as I picked up the hole before putting it on. When I returned it I got very bad customer service as if I'm the stupid one to buying poor quality things. I'm a very frequent customer I buy at least 2 items every week but I'm getting annoyed and discouraged at the quality Mrp is giving. I work hard for my money and if I choose to spend it at mrp least what I could get in return is clothes that dont break so quickly. This isnt even to mention my online orders that's always wrong but I feel too scared to go exchange it because I get treated like it's my fault when I'm in store.
