I cancelled my policy with IWYZE last month but they won’t refund me my premium telling me I cancelled on the 26th of the month I cancelled my policy last month; however, I was informed that I would not be refunded my premium because the cancellation was processed on the 26th of the month. I find this unfair and unclear, as I cancelled my policy timeously and was not made adequately aware that cancelling on this date would result in forfeiting my refund. In addition, I am extremely dissatisfied with how my accident claim was handled. After being involved in a car accident, IWYZE refused to repair my vehicle, stating that I was required to pay an additional 20% of the vehicle’s value on top of the excess fee because I had not gone for a vehicle inspection. This requirement was not clearly communicated to me beforehand. As a result, I was forced to repair my vehicle out of my own pocket, which caused significant financial strain.
Happy with the service I received from Craig Bergover

Debit order went through successfully on the 30th November but my account was locked out last night. Wi-Fi is not working and I can’t make any calls as if I’m still owing for December. I had to call and wait for over 20 minutes to be told my account will be activated within 5 to 7 business days, meaning it might be active on Friday. A lot has changed with Telkom and now I’m at a point whereby I can’t wait for all my contracts to expire.
I really had a painful and stressful experience with Paramount Bodyworks in Port Elizabeth as a female driver and I feel like it's about time to raise my concerns after repairs were done My vehicle was booked by Discovery insure for repairs on the 22 March 2023. I was promised my car will be ready by Easter weekend(7-10 April) but there was a delay due to car parts delivery. And that time they were still waiting for the stock arrival. Bear in mind now I work in another province without a car. So I've been traveling back and forth to Port Elizabeth hoping that my car will be ready for collection by then. It happened that I was in Eastern Cape again on the 26th April 2023. So now I decided to just stop by the panel beater since they were ignoring both my calls and Discovery calls. When I got there, the receptionist told me to wait she will have to get the guy who's working on my car and he might be on lunch. After about 10 minutes of waiting in reception area I had to ask her for feedback as I couldn't wait any longer. As she took me at the back to the workshop, my heart spanked when I saw my car with missing body parts and an open bonnet. When I looked around all the other vehicles were fully repaired or in queue for polishing apart from mine. The time, effort, airtime was way too much for me to get hold of Discovery to report the matter and still stay on the line for excuses after excuses. So ended up staying for the time being in Port Elizabeth as they promised my car will be ready for collection the next following week, Monday. They need to put back the missing parts since they did a paint job on my car and will still need to do polishing. On Monday, they tell me my car is in queue for polishing. They can atleast push for Wednesday. On Wednesday, they still tell me my car is in queue for polishing. Now my concern was my employer because I had to explain to them the issues concerning my car and I will be getting it back before Friday. I had to call Discovery to report the same problem, some of the consultants will come back to tell me they are not picking any of their lines. And they've just changed the Estimated date of delivery from Wednesday to Friday. Friday, they advised me to collect the car in the afternoon. I arrived there before 4pm, checked the car exterior and interior. In early hours of the next following morning, as I was filling up my fuel tank driving to another province. The petrol attendants advise me that my fuel filler cap is popping out. Paramount Bodyworks sends me an email after reporting the issue, that I can take my car to VW in Kempton Park. Like they just need to clip on the filler cap, apparently according to the service technician that was not the case. He showed me the internal part of filler cap and they only way to clip it on was putting on a glue. Other issues picked were the sensors making a sound even if there are no objects around the vehicle. Rear view camera was also no longer functioning, dashboard light will still stay on even if I lock the car. Bumper was also coming a bit out, had to push it back with my hand. And wheel alignment was off as well. On the very same day after when I got back from VW KEMPTON Park, I email all the parties from both Paramount Bodyworks and did not even receive a single call or email response just to acknowledge and take ownership or make an apology about all these issues. Paramount Bodyworks chose to keep and quiet and informed Discovery they never touched any of those parts. And they were not part of the repairs but replacing a headlight obviously does form part of wiring. So Discovery had to appoint an assesor and a panel beater for the repairs to be completed in Johannesburg. There was also a point when the Discovery assessor told me Paramount Bodyworks doesn't know anything about the issues and what if I am the one who broke the filler cap. So that means they won't be fixing anything. Another inconvenience of all this is the premium change of every month with Discovery. Even one one of the Discovery consultants got frustrated like why are they doing this. Since she knew the history of my claim and now I've raised other concerns According to my understand, for Paramount bodyworks to get a sample of the paint, obviously they will need to pull out the filler cap Back and forth really drained me out to a point where my colleagues were complaining about the kind of experience I had to go through as a female driver in South Africa. Now Monday this week, I picked another issue on my clutch. Booked it in at VW for them to run diagnostics and as car that is still under warranty with less than 30 000 KM mileage. VW advises that I will need to replace the clutch. Again as usual I tell my guy neighbor, my male colleagues who happen to own VW vehicles most of them from 2015 and they never experienced this issue. A question that everyone is asking, how is it possible for a brand new vehicle to have a worn out clutch????? Less that 30 000 KM, still under warranty, and only drive once to another province. What happened to my clutch?????? And I was still charged for the diagnostics for clutch that was brand new before I took my car for repairs at Paramount Bodyworks Now I need the whole country to fight for me because this is way too much for me!!! I NEED MALE Figures To BE EYES AND EARS CAUSE I AM TIRED OF FIGHTING OVER AND OVER AGAIN Now which other car part will be worn out next in the next few months All in all this will keep on happening in every month/day/year I so wish I would just sleep and not wake up. CALLING OUT FOR HELP!!!!
