Insurance company advised Paramount on 22nd February to proceed with ordering of part and repair of a rear light and small fender bender. Car requested on 5th March. WhatsApp sents indicating 7-10 working days for repair. FIRST ALARM BELL. Should have listened! On Monday, 11th March I call again after little feedback the previous week to be told THAT THE COURIER HAS NOT DELIVERED the replacement part and a painting station is "broken" and we busy... and I have to many responsibilities, too much work, I can't get to everything. 12th March, IN ASSEMBLY will be available late Wednesday or Thursday. 14th March, IN ASSEMBLY still but will follow-up SUDDENLY CAR available at 4pm BUT NOTE ONLY CASH ACCEPTABLE OR IMMEDIATE TRANSFER Sent a picture of notice at reception, which I was NEVER in as I didn't drop-off vehicle for repair, but no communication about this on the whole days!!!! NEVER USE PARAMOUNT BODYWORKS AGAIN

I was there last week for a quote for my car, confusing experience I have ever experienced. I was sitting in reception, waiting on the guy, he flew past me, like a airplaine coming in to land. Then I walked out to my car, he rushed to take photos all around my car, never even introducing himself, then only he asked me, " what we looking at, where's the damage?" My word,.. professionalism and manners never even existed. Today I phoned, 4 days in, and no one could even find a quote, not even on my registrasion number. What has this world come to? If you don't want to be at your job, please find another, you don't belong there. Service with a smile, atleast would have been nice.

I had a simple bumper repair done over a year back. I've been back 3 times for them to fix the problem, but my bumper is still not done correctly. I'm afraid that this might influence the value of my car, as it still fairly new (a 2022 model still under warranty). I took the issue to management on 26th Sep.'23, after the service staff spinned stories and still gave my car back with it not being 100% right. I received a swift reply from Bradley, and a personal visit. This was accompanied by a sincere apology and a SURE promise that they will get it done right this time, and even arrange a courtesy car. Tomorrow it will be 6 weeks later, and still it has not been done. Bradley acknowledged that he was not made aware of my come-backs and the problem that remained unchecked. They guy that helped me with the last complained, has apparently left their employ under a cloud. Now I'm left searching the internet for contact details of the boss, writing even more stern emails and resorting to basically threatening to inform both Haval and Momentum, that maybe this company should not be on there panel of preferred service providers anymore. I'm desperate and don't know what else to do. Bradley also promised that the workmanship guarantee won't be affected by their delay. I told him I would like a new guarantee issued to me once this repair is finally done, as I've honestly lost faith in this company to keep their word. If anyone here can tell me what to do, I'd appreciate the advise.

I really had a painful and stressful experience with Paramount Bodyworks in Port Elizabeth as a female driver and I feel like it's about time of raising my concerns and how they treat female drivers. My vehicle was booked by Discovery insure for repairs on the 22 March 2023. I was promised my car will be ready by Easter weekend(7-10 April) but there was a delay due to car parts delivery. And that time they were still waiting for the stock arrival. Bear in mind now I work in another province without a car. So I've been traveling back and forth to Port Elizabeth hoping that my car will be ready for collection by then. It happened that I was in Eastern Cape again on the 26th April 2023. So now I decided to just stop by the panel beater since they were ignoring both my calls and Discovery calls. When I got there, the receptionist told me to wait she will have to get the guy who's working on my car and he might be on lunch. After about 10 minutes of waiting in reception area I had to ask her for feedback as I couldn't wait any longer. As she took me at the back to the workshop, my heart spanked when I saw my car with missing body parts and an open bonnet. When I looked around all the other vehicles were fully repaired or in queue for polishing apart from mine. The time, effort, airtime was way too much for me to get hold of Discovery to report the matter and still stay on the line for excuses after excuses. So ended up staying for the time being in Port Elizabeth as they promised my car will be ready for collection the next following week, Monday. They need to put back the missing parts since they did a paint job on my car and will still need to do polishing. On Monday, they tell me my car is in queue for polishing. They can atleast push for Wednesday. On Wednesday, they still tell me my car is in queue for polishing. Now my concern was my employer because I had to explain to them the issues concerning my car and I will be getting it back before Friday. I had to call Discovery to report the same problem, some of the consultants will come back to tell me they are not picking any of their lines. And they've just changed the Estimated date of delivery from Wednesday to Friday. Friday, they advised me to collect the car in the afternoon. I arrived there before 4pm, checked the car exterior and interior. In early hours of the next following morning, as I was filling up my fuel tank driving to another province. The petrol attendants advise me that my fuel filler cap is popping out. Paramount Bodyworks sends me an email after reporting the issue, that I can take my car to VW in Kempton Park. Like they just need to clip on the filler cap, apparently according to the service technician that was not the case. He showed me the internal part of filler cap and they only way to clip it on was putting on a glue. Other issues picked were the sensors making a sound even if there are no objects around the vehicle. Rear view camera was also no longer functioning, dashboard light will still stay on even if I lock the car. Bumper was also coming a bit out, had to push it back with my hand. And wheel alignment was off as well. On the very same day after when I got back from VW KEMPTON Park, I email all the parties from both Paramount Bodyworks and did not even receive a single call or email response just to acknowledge and take ownership or make an apology about all these issues. Paramount Bodyworks chose to keep and quiet and informed Discovery they never touched any of those parts. And they were not part of the repairs but replacing a headlight obviously does form part of wiring. So Discovery had to appoint an assesor and a panel beater for the repairs to be completed in Johannesburg. There was also a point when the Discovery assessor told me Paramount Bodyworks doesn't know anything about the issues and what if I am the one who broke the filler cap. So that means they won't be fixing anything. Another inconvenience of all this is the premium change of every month with Discovery. Even one one of the Discovery consultants got frustrated like why are they doing this. Since she knew the history of my claim and now I've raised other concerns According to my understand, for Paramount bodyworks to get a sample of the paint, obviously they will need to pull out the filler cap Back and forth really drained me out to a point where my colleagues were complaining about the kind of experience I had to go through as a female driver in South Africa. Now Monday this week, I picked another issue on my clutch. Booked it in at VW for them to run diagnostics and as car that is still under warranty with less than 30 000 KM mileage. VW advises that I will need to replace the clutch. Again as usual I tell my guy neighbor, my male colleagues who happen to own VW vehicles most of them from 2015 and they never experienced this issue. A question that everyone is asking, how is it possible for a brand new vehicle to have a worn out clutch????? Less that 30 000 KM, still under warranty, and only drive once to another province. What happened to my clutch?????? And I was still charged for the diagnostics for clutch that was brand new before I took my car for repairs at Paramount Bodyworks Now I need the whole country to fight for me because this is way too much for me!!! I NEED MALE Figures To BE EYES AND EARS CAUSE I AM TIRED OF FIGHTING OVER AND OVER AGAIN Now which other car part will be worn out next in the next few months All in all this will keep on happening in every month/day/year I so wish I would just sleep and not wake up. CALLING OUT FOR HELP!!!!

I honestly do not know why Santam use Paramount Body Works, they gave them the approval for repair to our Amarok 80 days ago, the vehicle was dropped off on the 22nd March collecting dust NOTHING has been done, and no one is taking ownership of this. Shocking shocking service, I would NEVER EVER recommend using them. Next time I will insist Santam sends us elsewhere in Port Elizabeth. Wayne the manager dodges calls and makes excuses why your vehicle is still sitting on the pavement.

Everybody is quick to complain but not quick to praise. Paramount Body Works fixed my car after a bash from behind. There service and work was amazing. I had two issues after my car was fixed. Being very OCD I took my car back under the guarantee until I was happy. The work done was of very high standard. The issues were minor things that could happen at any panel beater workshop. They always served me with a smile and never received any silly excuses. Although there were minor issues, they way they treated me as a client and the service impressed me a lot. All the staff was friendly and polite.

3 minutes ago NEW The most horrific service ever experienced at a repair shop. My vehicle was in since October 2022 for a pothole damage to 2 tyres. This repair shop is one of the dodgiest and will keep your vehicle in for months and months claiming storage fees from the insurance not doing anything to your vehicle. Every week there is a new excuse and they won't release my car even till this day. Don't ever use this repair shop for yourself. If you are with your insurance and they take you to Paramount immediately ask your insurance to change them they will even be worse with service delivery. Insurance companies should stop associating themselves with Paramount Body Works. Paramount should be banned! Every customer has the same complaint. This body shop should be canceled and closed down.
