This is by far the worst delivery service out there …Telkom gave these people my router on Wednesday and they were suppose to deliver it on Friday …their own delivery guys didn’t sign a document and they stopped the delivery …Spoke to a guy called Rhees on Friday and he said the delivery is scheduled for Saturday now ..called on Saturday to confirm and turns out the guy didn’t schedule the product to be delivered today….now they are saying Sunday
Gave Rain almost a full month(issue started 28 MAY ) to fix my connectivity issue and l am still paying R999 a month for their unlimited package to get maximum of 15mbps during peak hours ...Honestly l am considering taking the advice of your call centre agent who told me to cancel because this is too much now ..Even the technicians you sent out didn't even know the direction of the towers in the area ..they came here and sat for 20 mins only to say its a tower congestion issue not a Router issue...
Reported a issue on the 28th of May about getting slow speeds during peak hours (19:00-23:00) on the unlimited 5G Package R999 a month . I have been getting Max 10mbps during peak hours and they still haven't resolved the issue . Today is the 14th of June and nothing has been done ...I have no incident or ticket number . all l am getting is this has been escalated then they disappear . This is my 4th or 5th review on the same issue ....18 DAYS LATER still experiencing the same issue
I have been getting less than 11 mbps download and over 20 mbps upload from 19:00 to 23:00 at night every day while paying R999 a month .This has been going on since 28 May and looks like you guys just dont want to fix the issue this is my 3rd review on this issue . Please do something about this or else l am cancelling month end and moving on ..Lock me into a certain tower if you have to .. give me the settings one of your technicians showed me how to do it ....PLEASE FIX THIS ....
I pay R999 month for your unlimited package that guarantees me speeds above 50 mbps minimum but for the past 2 weeks l am getting speeds below 10mbps during peak hours and 30 mbps during the day .. You guys said there's a fault in the towers around me 2 weeks ago and it is still not fixed..Am l expected to pay R999 when you guys haven't given me those speeds?
After 4 years of using their unlimited 5G l was advised to cancel the contract by one of their consultants because the reason the connection speeds are dipping to below 10mbps after 16:00 since last Thursday are caused by the location where l stay..But Somehow during the day l can easily get over 100mbps. The router is mounted and hasn't moved in 4 years and somehow a issue that started last Thursday is caused by the location where l have been staying for the past 4 years and using the router ...WOOOOOW
For the past week or 2 Rain has been quietly blocking gaming servers on their network and some big work platforms like Salesforce.com ...If you play games such as EA FC or FIFA you will struggle to login to the servers until 22:15 at night.During the day they block access to gaming servers ...IF YOU ARE A GAMER STAY AWAY FROM RAIN ..The issue is still ongoing and as usual they did not provide any update on the issue ...GAMERS STAY AWAY!!
3 months ago l asked these guys to come fetch my faulty inverter l bought from them that didn't even last 6 months . They still haven't done that ..Its been 3 months . They are stalling so that the inverter goes out of warranty . Do not buy the 2400VA 1440 Watt Mecer Inverter it wont last 6 months . After 6 months it will be a very expensive Phone charger
You guys debited my account(Telephone account) on the wrong date because of that error the debit order bounced and that has affected my credit rating. Since l was in the process of applying for a home loan they require a letter from telkom apologizing or acknowledging the mistake of debiting my account on the date that wasn't agreed on in order for them to approve my Homeloan . Would you please assist me as soon as possible. I have called several times , posted on your social media sites and l haven't got a response.
