I contacted Marius Maritz to ask to view a property that he advertised. He mentioned that there are renters in the property and they have approximately 8 months left of the contract and that he has been managing the leases on the property for three years. I rep**** that this did not matter as I am an investor and I will be paying cash. He then enquired whether I manage my leases myself to which I rep**** affirmatively. He then changed his story and said that he cannot take me for viewing if I cannot proof to him that I have the cash in my bank and I should send him a bank statement or something showing the cash. I explained to him that I would first like to see the property to see if I am interested in buying it before I release any of my personal info as I think that this is against the POPIA act. He said that he would not show me the property. I proceeded to phone his principal, Quinevere Methven, who told me that sellers do not like cash buyers as this is a big risk to them. She confirmed that they do not take cash buyers to view properties if they do not send proof of the cash in their bank. I am sure that the seller is not aware of this and think that this is detrimental to the seller who needs to sell the property. I have no trust in Red Door Properties and will never buy a property through them. SELLERS BEWARE OF WHAT AGENTS TELL PROSPECTIVE BUYERS IN ORDER TO PROTECT THEIR MANAGEMENT FEE INCOME.
Mehmood at Finest Kitchens started installing our new kitchen on 25 August 2021. My husband and I wanted a change after they were done. We offered to pay for the change. Since then Mehmood has had numerous excuses and has not come back, even though we paid him in full and he did not have to wait for his money. On 31 January 2022, I contacted Mehmood as two of the cupboards' hinges tore out (after 5 months). He asked me to give him till the next week to fix. We have not heard from him since and even phoned his son who helped with the install. I paid R80K just for the cupboards and they lasted 5 months!!!! I now have to pay someone else to clean up his mess. Spare yourself the heartache and do not use Finest Kitchens. They changed their name from Tuscany Kitchens. These people will do you in.
I have had my Vodacom contract for 18 years. I decided to port to MTN as I have another MTN contract which is a much better deal. When I phoned to cancel, Vodacom gave me an even greater deal and I decided to upgrade with Vodacom again. I upgraded 26 November 2021. I started paying for the new contract, but never received the phone. After numerous phone calls to Vodacom with no luck, I cancelled the contract on 21 January 2022. Not one of the consultants I spoke to, made notes on the system and they told me each time that my upgrade did not show on the system, so I had to tell the loooong story to every consultant each time I phoned. Today I had the courage to try again as I haven't yet ported to MTN. And true to Vodacom's incompetency, I could not get a contract as my case is at "pre-legal"!! What the hell for? You broke the contract by not giving me the phone!!!! I had to wait two hours and phone again. Now the number was not on pre-legal anymore, but Jeremiah told me that he had to speak to his back-office to close the account? He said that he would phone me tomorrow. NOBODY from Vodacom has EVER phoned me back. He did not want to make a note on the system, but I insisted and got the reference number 1053392-2. Who know if he sucked that from his thumb. After 18 years of being a Vodacom customer, with not one payment missed, I cannot believe the ridiculously terrible service I am getting! Does Vodacom not want contract clients? I believe I will have to port to MTN to get a cellphone contract, as Vodacom is incapable of giving me one! Pathetic!!!
I cancelled my contract with Cell C on 12 April 2021 at 8h26. Cell C then proceeded to debit my account and they now owe me R2206.45, which they have confirmed. I enquired about my refund on Wednesday, 9 June 2021 at 13h19. The consultant's name was Patricia Maseretse and the reference 10600901646. My next call was on 20 September 2021 and Palesa was the consultant. Today, 6 October 2021 @ 10h20 I spoke to Atini. She said that I would get an sms with a reference number. I am still waiting.... I have spent more on call costs than my refund is worth, trying to get my refund back, but it is a matter of principal. Please do not contract with Cell C, as you will see that the reception and customer service is non-existent. Save yourself a lot of frustration and use another supplier.
I had my Mazda 6's shock mountings and shocks replaced. Today I took my car to Tiger Wheel and Tyre Vanderbijlpark for wheel alignment and balancing. Jan told me that my left shock was put in right and the right shock left and that the brake lines are squashed because of this. He said that I cannot drive the car as I am going to **** myself. Naturally I was in a complete state. Jan was very rude and adamant. I took my car from him as he did not want to do the wheel balancing and alignment. And as always pitching alone as a woman, they can apparently do nothing for me as I need to put new tyres. No matter if I only take my car for a puncture fix. Always end up me having to buy new tyres as they won't work on my car otherwise. After having my car checked out, it was found that the shocks are correctly installed. There is nothing wrong with the brake lines. Again as before I will take my car for wheel balancing and alignment somewhere else. So, after I nearly had a stroke after listening to Jan, I have now realized that Jan with the rude attitude should either go for training or stick to what he knows, whatever that might be....
