I started a new contract with Telkom on Monday, 7th May 2018 and requested for my Vodacom number to be ported to the Telkom network. This request that I made was deemed possible by the consultant who assured me that the problem would be fixed the next day. It is now the 15th of May 2018 and to date my number has still not been ported. I have gone into the branch multiple times and the consultant keeps on saying that the problem will be attended to and nothing is happening though. I think that this is a blatant level of incompetence from the service provider.
I received a text message stating that my parcel was collected in PTA on Wed, 14.03.2018 and that it would be delivered within 24 hrs and it is now already Friday, 16.03.2018 which means it is 48 hrs already. I tried to trace my parcel but it just states that the parcel is in transit between CPT & PTA. I urgently need the parcel and this is causing unnecessary delays. I personally urge all business and individuals not to make use of this courier service, as they promote lies to their customers.
On Saturday, 10th March 2018, I visited the V&A Waterfront franchise and was dissatisfied with the service received. I initially ordered a Combo deal but whilst the cashier was entering this information. I decided to rather opt for the normal R39.90 meals. The cashier requested from the supervisor/manager to "void" the order but he had a stinking attitude not only towards me as the customer but her as an employee. I had no problem with stating the reason for me changing my order but to have been treated with disrespect is not something that I am used to from the specific store mentioned. I have always prided myself in visiting this specific one due to its good service but this has changed since.
I visited the restaurant on the 4th of March 2018 on the invitation and advice of a friend. I ordered a chicken wrap which was not according to my desired needs. The chicken in the wrap tasted as, if it was prepared in oil that was used for fish and the vegetables were overcooked. I was totally not pleased at all. I also noted that this was not your traditional wrap and as such, I would have preferred the menu to have the ingredients listed on it for each food item.
I received a settlement amount to pay from Cell C, as I wanted to cancel my contract due to unsatisfactory service. I proceeded to pay the amount but was informed that I had to wait 48 hrs for my service to be reactivated again. The amount was paid over on the 2018.02.27 and it has been over 48 hrs and my service has still not been activated. I have totally had enough of this bad service provider that is unable to keep its word and would urge all clients to not make us of such bad providers.
I posted a review on Monday, 2018.02.26 which finally got me a reply from Cell C. A call centre agent contacted me and gave me a settlement which I had to pay as I requested for the contract to be cancelled. I called the call centre to enquire as to when my line would be re-activated and I was once again at the mercy of an incompetent agent who was not able to advise me accordingly. My final request to the service provider is that you urgently deal with this matter as I wish to no further engage with you in any form of business now or in the near future. My faith in Cell C, will never be restored and this has been proven continuously. I personally would not advise any individual to make use of your services, as the customer is not valued at all. Sort this out!
I have been a customer of CellC on contract for the past 6 years and never have I received bad service from them, however, in the last 2 years they have given me countless issues which have left me gravely disappointed in the network provider. I have resorted to using a different network which to date has given me the best network. I have requested settlement amounts multiple times on my account but have received no response as the service provider never responds to mails and when I call in then the lines are either busy or the agent on the other side is incompetent of handling the inquiry. I feel let down by the network and will never return to it again. I advise other users to also do the same as the service is immensely bad.
