Just before 2010, I was introduced to SDL in Parow. I was told by the company representatives that I could join a hospital plan scheme where a specific amount of money would be paid into my bank account for every day that I would spend in hospital, as a booked in patient, for more than seven days. It was a good plan and I signed up for it. On later inquiries, I was told that it was not the case and that I wasn't contributing to that hospital plan at all. This is a totally bad business practice as I was mislead to join some other plan, under false pretenses. How many other people haven't been mislead by this trickery in this business.
In 2015, I received a letter from the Cancellations Department of Standard Bank, regarding my request to cancel my paid up homeloan bond. The law firm of Fairbridges was instructed to cancel the bond in the Deeds Office. It's so many years later and I haven't heard any further word about the matter from Standard Bank, Operational Shared Services, Service Fulfillment, Private Banking, Greyville. Is this poor customer service? What is the opinion of Standard Bank management?
In 2015, I received a letter from Standard Bank, informing me that the law firm of Fairbridges Attorneys was attending to the cancellation of my bond. Up to today, they haven't informed me about the matter. I have sent them an email and have telephoned them, but to no avail. Silence is golden, but this silence is most concerning and disturbing, to say the least.
The Cell C data sim contract for R80.00 pm is a waste of good money. The online data network is useless, slow and during the day, it's pathetic. It's capable of driving the whole nation up the wall in a most cheating way. This is a sales gimmick, to rob us of our money, by giving such poor service in return. We, as consumers, have rights. We are going claim our rights! Cell C, wake up! Poor network provider services will not be tolerated, at all. Give us our money's worth!
MTN is robbing us all by selling useless data packages on the city streets. The sales persons are trained to cheat and lie about the actual benefits of the packages, just to sell them and by so doing, cheat us out of our hard earned money. The public must be made aware of these unfair sales gimmicks so that they may refuse to fall for the MTN dirty tricks.
I was sold an MTN promotional package for R100. 00, at Cape Town Railway Station, but the 1Gb data was only valid for one day. Is this some kind of sick joke by MTN to rob us of our hard earned money? I was also told that I could transfer the data to my friend. This blatant lie was also a sick joke! MTN, corruption is at the order of the day in the Republic of South Africa, and your company is part and parcel of it.
I bought a Mellerware kettle at Pick n Pay. It worked quite well, but the inside became rusted. I took it in and the rusted bottom on the inside was replaced. Not long afterwards the rust started again. Why is Pick n Pay selling such sub standard appliances? Its an insult to all the loyal customers who expect high quality appliances on the shelves in PnP stores. At the moment, I'm using a cheap plastic kettle without any problems. I'm totally disgusted in PnP for the low standards they are maintaining in appliances on their shelves.
