The client Bazi Dukhan ( Basdaeu Anirudh Dukhan ) of Bazi Dukhan Consulting Engineers cc, Durban North, KZN, has abandoned a Corporate Identity Design project with us being 85%-90% through his work with him only having paid 50% of the fees. It is our opinion that Bazi Dukhan has, in this regard, been dishonourable with ************* conduct demonstrating a lack of integrity and credibility. The impact on cashflow of his unjust, premature abandonment of the project has also resulted in additional stresses and adverse impacts. We would like Bazi to pay the remaining 50% of the project balance with immediate effect. Summary: We were engaged with the client, to work on their corporate identity project to include our supplying them with a new website design, logo design, company profile design, letterhead design, email signature design, and business card design. On the 11th June in a call with the client Bazi Dukhan ( Basdaeu Anirudh Dukhan ) of Bazi Dukhan Consulting Engineers cc, the client stated that, with the design drafts stage, they wanted to change the newly designed company profile further to make it 'more visual', like the example company profile example provided by them. We responded to the client and confirmed we could do a similar thing with their company profile by adding 4 new pages with the appropriate images in place, giving them a 12 page company profile (increased from the original 8). We also detailed the addition cost to do this. We also requested that given that we were now beyond the 1st draft phase for this project overall, that we would require a 25% interim payment from the client against the project as per the agreed terms & conditions. We attached the respective invoice and confirmed that once we received the interim payment we would proceed with the next phase(s) of work as required. In the early afternoon of that same day, the 11th June, in corresponding via Whatsapp with Bazi’s assistant, Nasarene, she requested further letterhead designs to which I rep**** that ‘given that we are at 4th draft on that, we will now need to wait for Bazi to process the interim payment against the project before proceeding further.’ Within a short space of time, slightly later the same afternoon, I received a letter of termination in PDF format via whatsapp from Bazi stating: ‘…We appreciate the work you have done for us thus far in attempting to design a new corporate identity and website for our company. However, after careful consideration, we have decided to terminate our working relationship, effective immediately. This decision has been made due to the lack of fresh and innovative design ideas that align with our requirements regarding the overall changes in corporate identity. As our brand evolves, it is essential that our digital presence reflects this transformation, and unfortunately, we have not seen the level of creativity and alignment we were hoping for…’ Given that there had been no prior indication of any such ‘lack of fresh and innovative design ideas’ and in fact the contrary app**** with all items of work either signed off or positively evolving through client/designer communications, I felt that this client’s reaction was rash, unjust, unprofessional and *********. Upon receipt of this letter I attempted to call and whatsapp the client Bazi several times but all my attempts and communications were ignored. On the 18th June, I wrote to the client and his assistant, Nasarene, clarifying that we were already 85%-90% of the way through the project and that they were only 50% paid up. I confirmed that their premature termination of the project left us short of the correct and fair remuneration for services already rendered, with us having invested significantly more than they had paid for. In addition, their office and the client, Bazi, had confirmed that they were happy with the logo design, the company profile design, the email signature and the business card design, albeit with the possibility of a few tweaks at the end of the entire process. I also reminded them that we had also taken the unprecedented step, as a gesture of goodwill, in supplying them with a ‘final’ pdf version of their new company profile for them to distribute at their recent convention, pre their final payment against the project. I also confirmed that this would normally not be done under any circumstances. In terms of the website, the client had agreed, the previous week, to provide feedback on the design by/on the 13th June, and there had already been significant time and effort invested in getting it to the point that it is (a complete 10 page design). We would like Bazi to pay the remaining 50% of the project balance with immediate effect.

I asked Webtickets if we can please reschedule our tickets bokked yesterday for tonight as one of our children is not well today and we can't therefore go this evening. Reference number for this order is 1491299360/327446 on Dec 05 2024 03:14. I was advised via WhatsApp 'unfortunately reschedules are only permitted 7 days before the schedules event.' My complaint as that this feels somewhat unfair given its a reschedule request and not a refund. You and the event still get your money, we the consumer are happy, you're happy. But this un-user-friendly approach does not seem ethical.
Unpaid Debt of R 4,450 - overdue since May. ------------------------------------------------- In March 2024, we were contracted to develop a professional website for 'BMH Land Surveryors' by Mr. BM Hlabisa (BSc Land Surveying (UKZN), SAGC: CGPrLS0910 The client, Mr Bandile Hlabisa, paid the 50% deposit of R 4,450 and the website was project was duly completed to the complete satisfaction of the client a few weeks later. The final invoice was sent to the client for the remaining 50% balance (R 4,450.oo) which the client promised to pay at the beginning of May. This payment was not made and despite multiple emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages, the client has ignored all attempts to contact him and has made no arrangements to pay his outstanding debt for his work that was completed by us in good faith. Please pay your debt owing Mr Bandile Hlabisa and we can supply you with your professional website. " A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Rubbish quality appliances (Bennet Read via TEVO). Bought a vacuum about 1 year ago. Motor now broken and needs replacing. You can never get the spares through so it can't be fixed. Staff at TEVO are also mostly not customer service orientated. Avoid Bennet Read and TEVO and save money, time and sanity!

Hi AC Direct, COMPLAINT – Disgusted & Shocked at your ‘resolution’! Broken piping, gas leaks, broken nearly-new 24,000 Btu Samsung Air Con Words cannot express how disgusted and shocked I was to receive your ‘resolution’ to my complaint yesterday. Note, my complaint is regarding your use, just over 1 year ago when then the new unit was installed, of inferior, easily damaged aluminium piping for the installation of our expensive 24,000 Btu air condition unit. The aluminium pipes have already failed, causing a gas leak and making the air conditioning unit no longer work. As this is your field of ‘expertise’, you will no doubt be aware of numerous online articles and research proving how aluminium piping is inferior to using copper and can lead to leaks (as well as having many other downsides and problems). Ethical, customer-focused companies are no longer using aluminium for air conditioning installations. Your resolution that suggests that we pay you another R 3,197.oo to de-install and reinstall the unit using copper piping is an utter disgrace. Really… we must pay you to fix a problem that you created and that should have never originally happened. Is it that you are so big now that greed has gotten the better of you and you frankly don’t care about your existing and potential new clients? Please review your resolution immediately. In your initial response to my complaint dated 28th Feb, you clearly stated: ‘We will arrange for your piping to be changed from aluminium piping to copper piping as per your request. We will request for our sales representative to send you a quote to pay the difference.’ Your costing for ‘Professional Installation of 9000, 12000, 18000 & 24000 Btu/hr Wall Split Unit Incl. Bracket & Aluminium Piping Kit worth R1299.00’ is R 2,799.oo Your costing for ‘Professional Installation of 9000, 12000, 18000 & 24000 Btu/hr Wall Split Unit Incl. Copper Piping Kit worth R1699.00’ is R 3,199.00 (PLUS you have a special ‘Purchase Professional Copper Installation in KZN and Receive R400.00 Discount – Use Coupon Code “kzninstallation” At Checkout!’ – Which further reduces the price to R 2,799.oo So, in fact, looking at your costings above, (extracted from your website today) there is no cost difference at this stage. The only acceptable resolution is for you to cover the cost of both the installation and materials to remedy this situation. I am posting this escalation to Hello Peter and looking into other online platforms to post my complaint if unresolved this week. I work in the digital media sphere. Yours faithfully.
Hi WorldRemit, It has been 7 days since I sent my ID documents. My account is still not verified. This is the second time I have tried this and gone round in circles. Does your system simply not work? Please help?
Bennet Read Vacuums = Rubbish appliances at rip-off prices that break soon after buying and have no availability on spare parts. A clever scam that is incredibly annoying. Please liquidate and make space for companies that care - if they exist.
Hi AC Direct, Re: ** COMPLAINT ** * Warranty Issue * Gas leak on 1 year old Samsung AR4500 Wall Split 24000 Btu Unit - INV022180 - ORDER #67903 I have a serious complaint regarding the expensive AC Unit we bought from you just over 1 year ago. (ORDER #67903). The installation that you gave us included aluminium piping which, according to numerous online articles, are inferior to using copper and can lead to leaks (as well as having many other downsides and problems). Our unit has a gas leak after only being installed just over 1 year ago and now the unit is not working and showing 'FO' on the display. Please can you urgently organise the replacement of all the inferior aluminium pipes with copper and re-gas our unit. I look forward to your prompt response today. Thank you. Kind regards,
