Not the most efficient of staff. Would not recognize my pre-booking cost and charged my card nearly double the cost of my pre-order. Took 10 days and a couple of visits to the airport to get a refund. You also need to watch carefully all the marks on the car before leaving.
Nord VPN has become very unstable under Windows 11. After loss of connection it requires a power down and reboot of the computer to get a connection. No help at all from the chatbot and support by email ask a thousand questions. Also with the present log in system it is just so tiresome to get back on line. For $29.95 a year Norton 360 which includes a VPN is much better value. In the past year Nord has had so many updates and changes to the interface.
The actual live experience has been excellent. People at the airport pickup and return have been courteous and helpful. The 4 stars is due to the online booking system. Although the system indicates you can MODIFY a reservation it does not actually make it into the system. I modified a reservation for 2 weeks later but it did not register in the system even though I was able to print out the modified reservation. The car I reserved was not available at pickup. The agent would not honour my original pricing as that level of vehicle was not available. Overall without the online hiccup the experience is very good to excellent as I have returned and made 3 more rentals and a further 3 future reservations. Highly recommend.
Needed type 940 ink cartridges for my HP 8500 Plus inkjet printer. Guys in Pinetown had generic ink cartridges at a nice price. After a brief online chat ordered and choose to use pickup rather than delivery. The generics worked perfectly without any HP compatibility issues. Staff were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Pleasure to deal with. Making a second order.
The connection speeds are awful. Just a connection to the internet times out. When you call all they keep asking is for you to show screens regarding you location and connection speed. It is always the computers fault. Eventually changed to a competitor (Goldenfrog) and had much better connection speeds. Even HMA service is better. Do not believe all the hype with NordVPN, it is all marketing with the review people.
What a pleasure to deal with after my last experience in Ballito with those other garage door people. Called Bruce, quoted a great price and was installed the next day. These guys know their business and have been around in Ballito for 20+ years so no worries about service in the future. Ballito Gate and Door are Highly recommended.
Do not even rate one star. What do you call people that take your money, do not return calls and do to supply what you pay for. Took R2000 of my money for new springs (not needed) and R3720 of my a new garage door opener. A company to be avoided at all cost.
Beware of this company and do not pay in advance for any work. We paid in advance R2000 for new springs for a garage door and our complex agent paid R3750 for a new garage door opener (motor). Despite many e-mails and SMS messages requesting the installation to be completed it became evident that they have absconded with the funds. No physical address and no registration number I guess should have been a clue that they are not a reputable company. Stay clear of this company.
Both my wife and I have two pay as you go phones we use in South Africa. This is all we need as the main use is for banking, receiving SMS's when there is activity and for people to contact. We recently spent over 3 months outside South Africa with family and returned to to find our cell phone numbers had been "recycled" despite the fact that both numbers had over R750.00 of prepaid time . We make sure we have credit on the phone so that when we return we are able to contact people in an emergency. Apparently Vodacom recycle numbers after 3 months of non-use irrespective of the credit on the phone, they do not give the subscriber any notice and refuse to refund the unused air time. All Customer Care can say is that they recycle numbers after 3 months of inactivity . Disgraceful, fraudulent conduct!
