So disappointed in how Abbot has responded to us and to the media. They say that there were no illness cases reported of the bad batch of the Similac Alimentum formula in South-Africa after I phoned several times to report that my one month old son was hospitalized due to this formula. So, stop spreading the lies to the media because I am going to send all my evidence to the media. This is such a disappointment because my son was actually poisoned by this formula and Abbot is not owning up to it. On Saturday 19th of February, we opened a new tin (was part of the bad batch) of the Similac Alimentum and my son was admitted to the Arwyp medical hospital on Monday 21st of February due to diarrhea and dehydration. We still gave him the Similac Alimentum until we heard the news on Wednesday the 23rd of February. Up until then there was still no improvement with my son's stomach in hospital. Only after the doctor have called us to tell us we need to change his formula, he showed improvement. My son weighed 4.4kg on Monday the 14th of February and on Wednesday the 23rd of February he weighed 3.83kg just to give you some perspective of what you have done to my son. They also came and fetch the formula stating they will reimburse us for the formula and we are still waiting for the reimbur*****t. So I am currently waiting for an urgent response from Abbott regarding this.
Last year November I took my car to Car Service City in Jetpark for a cam belt replacement, I waited for about 5 days for my car to be finished because they had to open the engine and so on. The day I received my car back, the aircon pipe broke so I took it back and to CSC Jetpark and he said I need to bring it back so that he can repair it. I did not took it back as the Branch manager said I cannot bring it back over the weekend because he needs to order a new pipe and it is better to bring it during the week. Now my car is giving me problem again with my clutch and brake fluid(brake fluid is leaking and there is no pressure going to the gearbox). I asked my mechanic friend about it and he asked me when was the last time I changed my pressure plate of my clutch and I said I took my car to CSC Boksburg for clutch pressure plate in August 2017 ( 19 months ago). He said that the this cannot happen so soon after and that CSC definitely did something wrong because they were supposed to change everything as it part of the clutch kit. The problem is that when I took my car back to CSC Boksburg last week they said to repair my clutch will cost R3200 and that was the amount of a new clutch kit. I am really disappointed in CSC and I am not willing to pay for any of these repairs because they did not repair my car properly the first time.
I just wrote this email to Consumer goods and services ombud hope this will wake up vodacom. To whom it may concerns, I am currently struggling with Vodacom to switch on my line for the past week. They suspended my lines because my account was in arrears and it is all because they did not canceled my contract when I have asked them to back in June/July. I have asked for the call recordings that they say is recorded for quality purposes and they said they only keep records for 3 months. So they say I owe them R5200 and they never phoned me to ask why is my account in arrears and they never send me the invoices so I couldn't pick it up. They are stealing South Africans money by doing this. I had 3 issues in the past 9 months regarding cancellation of contracts with Vodacom. I am actually telling my story to you because I do not know what to do and I do not get any results from Vodacom because I am jumping calls between departments and no one can provide me with answers. What happened was, I canceled my 20GB data plan with Vodacom in June/July and they never canceled it. I never received invoices stating that I owe them more than I am usually paying because I only paid for the 2 phones that I know I had (my wife’s and mine). So on 6 November 2018 I received a shock that I am owing them the R5200 and I immediately phoned them to ask why and they said my 20GB contract (that was upgraded to a 40GB package without my consent) was never canceled. My heart dropped of disappointment and sadness because I do not have that kind of money to loose on this and after a knew I have canceled it. They said there is no records of me canceling the contract and I am 100% sure that I did. After a number of calls to the various departments they couldn’t help me and in the meantime they suspended both my wife’s and my line. Isn’t it illegal to switch off my lines if I have paid for them? They only need to suspend the 20GB router package. I have tried to open our lines for the past 2 days but nothing seems to be happening and it just emphasizes the poor service Vodacom is giving to their customers. Please help me because I feel that I am out of options. Regards
I received very bad service from this pathetic service provider!! I received a phone call from Vodacom way back in June or July asking me if I want to upgrade one of my contracts that was expiring the end of that month. So I said no I want to cancel the contract because I wouldn't be using it any more (20 GB data plan). I actually received a beter deal from another service provider. So the lady that I spoke with send throught to the cancelation department where I have canceled the contract. Now 5 or 6 months later they send me a huge bill stating that I need to pay that outstanding balance of R5200.00. When I received this statement I phoned the pathetic customer service of vodacom to ask why is this happening they send me through to various departments and no one can help me or give the answers. After a while they said no I need to log a call of the cancellation of my contract and the I need to dispute it, so I did and they said that it will take vodacom 2 - 10 working days to come back to me with the investigation. So then today (7 November) Vodacom suspended my line because of this outstanding amount. So this frustrated the HELLLL out of me because ***? if it is under investigation why would vodacom suspend my line. Now they said it will only be working in the next 2 to 5 hours.... Pathetic pathetic pathetic!!!!!!!! I have decided that I will cancel all my contracts with them as soon as I receive the outcome of this and I will not pay anything to vodacom because this is unacceptable. I will go to the papers or Carte Blanche if I have to. This is just another way vodacom is ripping their customers or clients off. I am disgusted in vodacom
I was very disappointed with the service that we received from the KFC in North Rand rd. I specifically asked them that I do not want any garnish on my burger and that I do not want chili mayo on my burger- I wanted sweet chilli sauce. But still I received it with garnish and with chilli mayo.... pathetic service I did not even ate my burger and the best of all is we went through the drive thru and my wife asked mash and gravy - she didn’t even get a s**** to eat with. I am disgusted with this service!!
To whom it may concerns I am writing this to complain of the pathetic service I received from Vodacom. I am disgusted with the level of service I’ve received. I wanted to cancel one of my contracts (make it a prepaid number) and I phoned Vodacom to do it for me and I have read the number that needs to be cancelled or switched to prepaid to the lady on the phone, and yet they have cancelled my number. This happened in Jan/Feb after various phone calls to Vodacom to get everything as I wanted it. Note that my contract was due for an upgrade since October last year or could have been a longer time that it was due, but when Vodacom made this error they have reset my contract and now I cannot upgrade. I want this fixed today as my wife needs a new phone because she is leaving the country on Wednesday (11 April 2018). If I do not get any feedback in the next hour I will take this matter to higher authorities and will escalate it to the media. I am very unhappy at this moment and I have been a client to Vodacom for 8 years. It makes me furious that Vodacom delivers such poor service and most of the staff is incompetent to do their job. I want an answer in the next hour!!!!
