Battle to get refund of a credit on your account at Ampath. I see other clients complained about the same issue! I am battling now for a month without any success to get my refund. Every time new forms and admin nonsense. They asked for a refund form to be completed and proof of bank account. After follow up telephonically I was told they received everything and my refund will be paid 7 days later. Today (17 days later) an email, requesting the original proof of payment of my account early January...although the money is in their bank for 6 weeks already? How can you work like that? Why not ask all the needed documents in the beginning of the process? This is to earn interest on the client's money.

Firstly, the average annual premium increase for 2026 is advertised as 9.6%, while 14.5% is the correct one for Fexifed 3! Secondly the info of the options (specifically Flexifed 3 Grid and Elect) is very very confusing. It states that the Elect option member must use "Scriptpharm network" pharmacies for chronic meds, BUT there is no such list available from them - only "Pharmacy network" list. Where do I get a "ScriptPharm" pharmacy list? If it is the same Pharmacies as the list on record, WHY use different descriptions? This is very confusing. Thirdly they make it SO complicated with the many different options available with different formularies, DSP's, limits, etc for every different option. You need to be an actuary to understand all the differences!
Be aware of unauthorized change of your address by the Bank and they do not answer questions as to why it happened! It is obvious that your information is not safe and correct with FNB and they do not adhere to FICA standards if they change your address without your request/approval or evidence of it. I did not not move at all...but they decided I am not where I am?

Absolute pathetic client service from this giant!! They battle to change your postal address on their system! Had to contact them 3 times to try and correct it. What a waste of time and a lack of effective service delivery! My broker's assistant is doing her utmost best but no one at Sanlam seems to be able to understand what is to be done. I feel that the company must now stop taking over other companies, and rather invest in the skills of its people before proceeding with further expansion. Keep your "old" loyal customers of the last 45 years as they will advertise you and bring their kids and grandkids to you OR just they will go somewhere else. Management must wake up and train their personnel.

My endowment policy reached maturity on 1 June 2024. Wednesday, 5th of June, I received an email confirming that the payout was done. It is now 2 days later and the money is still not in my bank account. It is ridiculous that in the current days of advanced technology, the payments are not done and available to clients immediately. Someone is making lots of money while it is hanging in the air for days...come one guys...up your game!
It is virtually impossible to get assistance from Fedhealth claims call centre. They reject claims which they have given authorisations for! The people answering the phones do not know what they are talking about! Stay away from them for your own health sake!
