Pawfect Pet Care exceeded all our expectations! Kaitlin went above and beyond with daily updates and photos, reassuring us that our Louis boy was doing just fine. Knowing he was loved and cared for meant everything to us. Definitely a kennel away from his kennel — we wouldn’t trust our furbaby with anyone else!
Dear Store Manager, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a deeply upsetting incident that took place in your store on Saturday afternoon, 25 October. My husband and I were the only customers in the store at the time. There were two female employees and one male employee on duty. Shortly after we arrived, I overheard the male employee speaking in his language and using the word “charou” in a mocking tone, followed by laughter. The two female employees soon joined in, laughing as they came closer. I am Indian and I understand what "charou" means, I found this highly disrespectful. When I confronted them, they looked shocked and quickly apologized, with one claiming that the male employee was referring to the other assistant as a “charou.” Considering the context and timing — right after I entered the store — this explanation felt insincere and dismissive. All the employees were black so I failed to believe that story that they made up after I had told them that I could understand what they said. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any professional setting, especially one that serves the public. It made me feel humiliated and uncomfortable in a space where customers should feel welcome and respected. I expect a formal apology from your business — either in writing or via a phone call — as acknowledgment of the offense caused. I also trust that you will take appropriate disciplinary action and ensure proper training so that this kind of conduct never happens again. I don't expect red carpet treatment but if an employee does not have anything positive to say, they should refrain from making such immature, "jokes" at the customer's expense. I am disgusted with the way my enquiry is being handled. I placed an order on the 24th of March for 3 items. Received an email confirming that my order should be ready for collection on 27th of March. On Wednesday the 29th of March, I called Takealot to enquire on why my order is being delayed. I spoke with Phelo.X who promised to resolve my query. I then received an email from Ayathandwa.M who advised me that my order was ready for collection. I received 4 texts on 31 March to collect my order. Stood in the queue for 45 minutes at Weltevreden Park Pickup point & then waited a further 30 minutes for the lady over the counter to "find" my items. I received 1 item & had to leave. My query was apparently sent to Lizelle to be resolved! I called again on, 03 April, spoke to Jonah.F. He said he will assist, received a response from Kirsty.H to confirm receipt of my email, received another sms to confirm collection, get to your pick up point & they still cannot find my order. I get home, 10 minutes later my order for 1 x silicon airpod skins is updated to collected & I DID NOT COLLECT THIS ORDER! I was refunded for the 1 x silicone skins that I returned & for the window squigee. I am yet to be refunded for 1 x silicone skins! I have also spoken or received emails from the following people: Xola.Z; Amy.K; Afika.W; Jonah.F; Wade.D; Sandiso.D; Aaron.S; and today, I spoke with Chezray.R. My query is unresolved, my orders were cancelled without my permission & then Takealot.com has the audacity to update their systems to "collected" when I did not collect an item. How many people will it take to resolve my query. Your business practice is extremely ********* - I would like my delivery fee refunded to me as well, since my items were lost. I will never buy from Takealot again!
My son turned 15 on the 30th of April. We visited Lone Wolf Spur in Randpark Ridge. Our waiter was Phana. After taking our order we told him that its our boy's birthday. When the meal arrived, the burgers were dry, like it was standing out for a while and it was warm. My son's ribs and chicken got cold quickly because we sat outside. We waited for 15 minutes before we can find someone to get our food warmed. Phana had disappeared inside and was nowhere to be found. The lady that did take our food left it at a nearby table so she could sing happy birthday for another customer. Our meal was not a priority even though there were plenty of waiters around to sing for that customer! So that was another few minutes. The food was gone for another 10 minutes until Phana came back and we had told him that we couldn't find him and that we were waiting for our meals to be warmed. His response, yes I know. It will be here just now. No apology, no interest in making our experience a better one. We waited another 5 minutes until the Manager, Sello brought us our food which by then was warm. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had at a Spur. Phana did not even arrange the waiters to sing happy birthday for my son. Such pathetic service. Totally disgusted. Total waste of money. It was an important day for our family and this experience ruined our day!!
