We cannot say enough wonderful things about Pawfect Puppy Care and its amazing owner, Kaitlin. Caring for our puppy Zion in 2025 has been such a positive, reassuring, and truly special experience from start to finish. As first-time pawrents, we had so many questions, worries, and moments of uncer*****y - but from day one, Kaitlin made us feel completely supported and confident. Zion has absolutely thrived at Pawfect Puppy Care. Knowing she was in a safe, loving, and attentive environment meant we never had to worry about him for a single moment. Kaitlin treats every puppy as if they were her own, and that level of care and dedication shows in everything she does. Zion always came home happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable, which speaks volumes about the trust and bond she builds with the dogs in her care. What truly sets Kaitlin apart is how available and generous she is with her guidance. No question ever felt too small, and she was always there to offer advice, reassurance, and helpful tips as we navigated puppy parenthood for the first time. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine love for animals made such a difference for us and helped us grow into more confident pawrents. Pawfect Puppy Care is more than just a place for puppy care, it’s a community built on trust, compassion, and expertise. We are beyond grateful for everything Kaitlin has done for Zion and for us. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your puppy with heart, professionalism, and unwavering dedication, Pawfect Puppy Care is truly the best choice. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Kaitlin, and Zion certainly did too! 🐾💙 Thabiso and Lebo

We have a really difficult dog who generally doesn’t like people or other dogs, so finding someone we trust has always been a challenge. Kaitlin at Pawfect Pet Care is absolutely amazing. She looks after him so well and makes him feel safe, loved, and comfortable. He is treated like absolute royalty, from playtime to the level of care and attention he receives. Knowing he’s in such capable and loving hands gives us complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Pawfect Pet Care to anyone looking for a place where their pets are genuinely cared for and treated like family. 🐾💛

Pawfect Pet Care exceeded all our expectations! Kaitlin went above and beyond with daily updates and photos, reassuring us that our Louis boy was doing just fine. Knowing he was loved and cared for meant everything to us. Definitely a kennel away from his kennel — we wouldn’t trust our furbaby with anyone else!

We handed our two miniature Schnauzers to Kaitlin, owner of Pawfect, on 8 July for five weeks while overseas. We were promised updates and photos but received none until I eventually requested an update. On 31 July I received a WhatsApp informing me that she had taken the female Schnauzer to the vet as there was an “opening on her back as well as that she was feeling under the weather”. She apologised profusely and offered to pay the bill, which she did. The facts, as per the professionals who treated her: She was admitted without her name tag under a false name as Kaitlin's grandmother’s dog. She had two puncture wounds on either side of her spine which were bleeding profusely. They drained about 1/2 cup of pus per side. Several drains were placed to allow drainage. She had septicemia, was in organ failure, was too weak to stand and wasn’t aware of human interactions. The vet said she was hours from death and if she was older she would not have survived. Euthanasia was presented to Kaitlin as an option as her condition was so severe. She was in critical care for 4 days. Taking into account her condition when admitted, she was injured at least 95 hours prior to admission. On 4 August I sent an email to the veterinary clinic as I was not satisfied with the feedback I was getting from Pawfect; if she was better and eating rice & chicken, why was she still in hospital? I could prove to the vet she was my dog as she is chipped. From then on the vets updated us. We were shocked at how dire her health situation was. By 12 August she had stabilised and recovered from sepsis and they could close the wound. The stitching was about 20 cm long, a massive wound. We took her home two days later, went for two reassessments and sutures were finally removed on 27 August. Kaitlin claims to not know what happened and claims that she was asleep while the incident occurred and suggested in a subsequent telephone conversation that the dog could have scratched herself on something. Examination of the injury, shape and size of the puncture wounds and the severity of the infection suggests that the most likely source of the puncture wounds was a bite. We handed her a perfectly healthy dog, got one back scarred for life. The dogs were filthy. Owners of pets boarding at Pawfect are denied access on both arrival and departure, allegedly to protect the other dogs from disruption but this prevents inspection of the premises. She was misleading and untruthful on various levels.

I am writing to formally address the concerning issues that arose during my recent experience with PAWFECT pet care. While initially I was comfortable leaving my 3-month-old puppy under their care, recent events have caused me serious distress, and I feel compelled to bring these matters to everyone's attention. 1. Injury to My Puppy: After my puppy returned from day care, I noticed a visible injury on her ear, as well as marks on her face where she had been hurt. When I raised this issue with them, they mentioned that they had not noticed these injuries. This raises significant concerns about the level of supervision and care my puppy received while in their facility. Given her young age and playful nature, I expected more diligent attention to ensure her safety. 2. Confusion Regarding Billing: Upon picking up my puppy on the final day of her stay, I was surprised to receive an additional invoice indicating that I had kept my pup for an extra day. This was not the case, as I picked her up four hours earlier than scheduled. I explained this discrepancy and was willing to pay for the minor adjustments I made by arriving 2-5 minutes earlier on a few days, but I refused to pay for a full extra day I did not take advantage of. Despite this, I was met with harassment and unprofessional behaviour, which I find completely unacceptable. 3. Privacy Violation: Furthermore, I am deeply concerned by their decision to post my personal information on Facebook, alongside inaccurate statements regarding this situation. This is a clear violation of my privacy rights under the POPIA act, and I am currently taking legal action regarding this matter. I expect all businesses to respect their clients' privacy and to refrain from any form of public shaming or harassment. 4. Unprofessional Behaviour: It became clear that the level of care for my puppy was inadequate. On one occasion, I observed them attending to laundry rather than monitoring the pets in your care, which is troubling when I entrusted them with my puppy’s safety. Additionally, the self-promotion of your business with fabricated reviews raises further questions about the integrity of your operation. Request for Resolution: In light of these incidents, I request the following: An explanation and written apology for the lack of supervision and care for my puppy. A refund for the disputed charge of R242.00, as I did not take my puppy for an extra day. A retraction of the false statements made about me on social media, along with a public apology. Assurance that steps will be taken to improve the level of care and professionalism in your daycare to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of having Pawfect Pet Care look after my three cats while I was away, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and attention they gave them. Pawfect Pet Care was incredibly professional, reliable, and communicated with me regularly to keep me updated on how my cats were doing. They sent me tons of pictures and messages, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear that they genuinely care about animals, and took the time to learn about each of my cats’ personalities and needs. When I returned home, everything was in perfect order, and my cats were happy, healthy, and well-fed. I would highly recommend Pawfect Pet Care to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and kind pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of my kitties!

I just wanted to take a moment to share our fantastic experience with Pawfect Pet Care. We recently went away for two weeks and didn't have any family available to look after our two dogs. Sending them to Pawfect Pet Care was the best decision we could have made! Our pups not only got to stay inside, just like they would at home, but they also had plenty of day-visiting friends to play with. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our dogs were happy and well-cared for. We highly recommend Pawfect Pet Care to anyone looking for a reliable and loving place to look after their furred friends!
