I purchased a vehicle in January from MMU Group through a representative named Ocket. At the time of purchase, I was clearly told that the vehicle papers were available and that I could collect them the following day. Weeks later, I was still being given excuses and false promises Ocket ( who had been giving instructions by M.Wadee) and Mohammed Wadee. After doing my own investigation, I obtained proof from the licensing department showing that the vehicle is still registered under the previous owner and still financed with WesBank — despite the dealership claiming the vehicle had been in their stock for over a year. Every time I called, I was given a different story. I was even asked to remove my review while the issue remained unresolved (call recordings available). When I contacted Mohammed Wadee directly, he simply said it was “not his department” and told me to deal with Ocket. Eventually I was asked to return the vehicle for a full refund, which I did. However, the refund that was promised has still not been paid. I have full evidence of everything — messages, voice notes, and call recordings. All of this will be made public across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and X. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest experience. I would strongly advise anyone to be very cautious before doing business with this dealership.
Purchased a vehicle from MMU Group, worst experience ever. They have no care whatsoever for their customers and continuously lie about everything. I have purchased the vehicle from them with the understanding they have the natis document for the vehicle. After several weeks (7 weeks) of calling, going to the dealership and reaching out I still do not have the natis. After doing some research on the vehicle, the vehicle is still registered to the previous owner, still under finance and has not been settled by the dealership keeping in mind that this vehicle has been over a year in their stock inventory. From the owner who said “no stress will get it sorted tmr” I have reached out to follow up, he then sends a voice note “I don’t handle these things, it’s not my department.” The people within their admin department says he is the only one able to resolve the issue and give the go ahead to receive the natis. He takes no responsibility. Absolutely horrible people to deal with in business.
Afrihost strivers are beyond pathetic. Installation time literally took them countless amount of days. I’ve had to log calls countless amount of times as well to get my installation and activation sorted. Call centers kept saying it’s been escalated and sorted out yet nothing had been done. Billing/finance department is even worse, I was charged for a router that I had optioned out due to the fact I had one installed already. I was charged for delivery of a router that did not get delivered. I was then told it has been credited and refunded back into my account, to date nothing of the sort. Activation when signing up was free, I was sent an invoice of way more than the actual monthly payment. My account was debited for this amount. I have called in to escalate the matter where I was told “ we will listen to recordings and get back to you” to date non of this has happened. Their finance, customer relations and overall business is pathetic to say the least. I await a response from them to hear more lies.
Pathetic service , WiFi cuts almost every single day , no updates from the service provider , service provider does not answer their calls or even have the courtesy to return the calls with any update
