Their quote for an alarm system - essential to use the service they charge exorbitant fees to cancel - was significantly higher than those of comparable companies. When we moved addresses, we were saddled with an outdated contract. Despite the contract being far older than 12 months and the alarm system never being used, they charged us a hefty cancellation fee for ending the service within their supposed 12-month period. In total, we were forced to pay several thousand in monthly fees plus an unwaived cancellation fee for absolutely nothing: no service, no equipment, no functionality. To make matters worse, they are impossible to get hold of, ignoring emails entirely and leaving us with no way to resolve issues or even communicate effectively. It’s nothing short of predatory behavior.
After months of back-and-forth regarding an engine oil leak and other issues, they eventually provided both the original 114-point inspection report and the corresponding invoice. It’s evident that only the most visibly apparent issues were addressed, and no genuine effort was made to resolve the engine oil leaks before the car was delivered to us. Now, six months later, the oil leak remains unresolved. While they did make an attempt at our insistence - only after we noticed the issue - it has yet to be properly addressed.
We requested a refund upon discovering that the joints were already pulling apart on arrival and that there was additional damage from transport. This refund was refused, though they did offer to repair the transport damage; however, it’s unclear how they would address the poor workmanship.
Extremely efficient - they worked quickly and handled our furniture with care. They also endured and entertained a very curious 4 year in good humor without squashing him once. It was a fun day.
I have had a mixture of experiences with vodacom. most bad. But recently I have been contacting them by Twitter and the chat app via their online portal. Via the chat app I changed my debit order without going into Vodacom. It was a really great experience, thank you. And I always receive positive responses over Twitter.
