Isabella Garcia should be getting 100 trash cans for how underhanded they are. They had something delivered to my niece who has not worked for years and is currently on disability. I sent emails, she sent emails and eventually someone called. They confirmed that what was sent to my niece was to the value of R4000 plus. They also said they would collect this 'gift' since my niece cannot afford it. They still have not done this. When I try to call them they refuse to help as they say they need to speak to my niece. All I can say is - Lord please shut these ****** down let them experience your wrath for thieving they do. I pray you make each person involved in this *****ery suffer as they con people into accepting a 'free gift' that is so expensive, most working people cannot afford it. Where is Julius Malema when he needs to shut down this trash? Block all their callers and may their business die a slow and painful death along with them...
If there were trash cans I could pick for them, I would give them 100 trash cans... I took out contracts as the kids need tablets for school. When I ordered via telephone, the lady suggested I upgrade one of my lines. I said to her, I do not know where this sim card is and I wasn't sure it was active. She said that is fine, she can upgrade it for me. I said something along the lines of so the sim will come with the tablet. I get the tablet yesterday with no sim. I call aftersales and then they tell me I have to pay for the sim since I did not specify I want a new sim... I have an unopened sim here and I can't use that either, I must go and do a sim swap and pay R80. Really??? Anyway, I have 13 more days to return these contracts. I am seriously thinking about doing this. The aftersales person had a nerve to tell me if I had specifically said I want a sim, I wouldn't have paid for it. So it is my fault I did not say to the consultant. I don't know if or where this number is or if it is active and the consultant said it is in your name you can upgrade it, it is my responsibility to say send me a sim. I have upgraded with vodacom many times and now I have to fight over a sim that should have been sent to me... Anyway, let me use my time constructively and look for alternate contracts. Do not use vodacom. I was given no reference and it was done via telephone. My order numbers are K5159268, K5159252 and K5159505.
I recently changed my bank to Capitec. I was told about all that can be done. However, I have been trying forever and a day to switch off sms notifications and it is still not implemented. I went into the branch to find out if they could do it in the branch and they could not. They logged a call for me and I followed their prompts, deleted and reloaded the app blah blah blah. Nothing works. How is it that they cannot provide this basic service, in the branch if it is not working on the app? Looks like im changing banks yet again.
The lady who helped me with buying my board assisted for me to be helped on the same day. It was only cut into 5 pieces. This saved me having to travel back to the shop 15km from my home for the pick up. She did this without me requesting it.
While I enjoy using the Virgin Active Roodepoort [14th Ave] and most of the staff are friendly, I have been left disappointed by the manager and the excercise manager's deceit and avoidance when I am in the gym. Now I think they are conartists. I won the second prize [virgin active gym bag] of a competition on the 26th June 2024. Soon there after the manager called to tell me that I won a R150 Kauai voucher, but the 3rd prize was a yoga mat that cost more or R400. Long story short, I was told that the bag was ordered but to date, I did not get it... One of the yoga instructors has been communicating about the bag, but she too is being ignore. On top of this, there is always talk of them cancelling the yoga classes at 18:30, So far the Monday class are cancelled. We are expected to continue being loyal to the gym that we pay a fortune to attend, but they do not care about their clients.
I would actually give Makro 5 trash cans because their service sucks beyond ones wildest dreams. I purchased an item on the 31st July 2024, delivery failed, so on the 9th August 2024 I cancelled the order. To date, they have not refunded me, I have not gotten any communication. Instead a week after cancelling, I get a message saying the item is out for delivery. All I want, is my money. I have spoken to 7 (Ayanda, Thobelo, Thipeso, Nandepa, Jerome, Phendulwa and Lungile) call center agents and there was a promise of the Manager to call me 4 times and still no call... If anything, these ****** must shut their doors and start sweeping the streets to match the trash cans they come from called Makro.
Firstly a 1 is way too high for Vodacom, I would like to give them a -5 rating... this website should allow to give them disasters instead of stars... I took out a contract more or less 2 and a half years ago. The contract was with an extra free phone and airtime. Turns out they were charging me for the extra phone's airtime. I called and alerted them and told them to refund the 2 or 3 months they deducted the money for. I have the invoices and statements from them and my bank statements if their accounts department cannot do bookkeeping. That never happened. 2 years later (August 2020) I called to cancel the contract and then September 2020, then November 2020 and January 2021 and so on, I tell them to cancel the contract and refund me ALL the money from the beginning of the contract and now. Still nothing. Everytime I call their excuse is I did not call cancellation, so if I didn't call cancellation and I'm dialing the same number who am i speaking to now- answer vodacom mam... Really!!! I explain again, it's all blank, I ask to speak to a manager, I can't. I ask why, no answer, now I'm ready shout and swear, I mention what frauds and thieves they are, oh don't forget liars, they say the call is recorded for my protection and suddenly they see i have called and guarentee it will be cancelled and they have flagged the refund. I ask for the person's name and they blatantly refuse to give it to me. They can see I'm not using the sim but still nothing... I'm at the point where I pray to God that Vodacom shuts their doors forever... I have their contracts purely coz I need it for work... I want All my money back and they are just non-chalantly taking it and not giving a flying squirrel that they are actually stealling from me... come to think of it, I will take time off work now and find out if I can open a case of theft... the worst part of it all is IF and it is big IF I get a call from them to try and sort this out they going to expect me to give them details to sort this out... which means I have to do the work they so useless at doing... I pray the Lord sees them for the frauds and thieves they are I surely am going to voice my opinion with my employer to review business dealings with them...
Vodacom has been at its worse. I have been a customer of theirs for ages and 1stly this week they blocked my number and told me it would take 7 days to activate. Apparently someone in Limpopo requested the block. I asked where was the security checks when this happened. Any way after me mentioning that I will not upgrade my phone and threatening them did they activate my number again. Then I called to do an upgrade with them which previously it was no problem if I seen the upgrade in the book, online or anywhere as long as it was a Vodacom deal, they were happy to assist. They now telling me no I have to go to the stop, then why the hell advertise and make the book available online if you want people to go into the store for those deals. The sad truth is that the level of service we get from a company that over charges and steals data, airtime anything they can get away with, every second they can. If I could I would give them no star.
