I bank with Nedbank and I have never used any credit facility of theirs. They have been sending me offers including an overdraft offer for quite some time now and I decided to take it. I app**** for it on Sunday on my app and was informed someone will get in touch with me. No one did so I called them on Monday and was assisted and I was told everything is approved and will take up to 72 hours for the funds to reflect. I received an email on Tuesday saying I can now use and access my facility but when I went into the banking app there was no funds reflected. I called them again for inquiry and was told I’d be assisted. No one assisted and I had to call again Wednesday. It’s Thursday and still no funds have reflected. I am extremely disappointed at this level of service especially with a bank I’ve been loyal to since day one. A credit enquiry was made against my name when applying for the overdraft , which affects my credit profile for money that I haven’t even received. The level of unprofessionalism is beyond me as every time I call I get told it has been escalated and will be resolved to no avail!! I will be changing my bank definitely after this experience!
My son has been with Spark schools for the past 7 years since grade 1. I have never defaulted or had issues with paying school fees from day 1, yet I am always struggling with incorrect information from the accounts team. Needless to say, I always pay my school fees in advance so that I am able to finish paying it off quicker. I made an enquiry in October about the school fees because they had said I owe money when I had paid in advance, which they solved the ticket without even coming back to me. After several failed attempts at contacting them, I left the matter as was. They have sent me my son’s transfer card now which shows outstanding school fees which I’ve been asking about and haven’t gotten a response to. I send yet another email to enquire and they claim to have solved my issue when I haven’t gotten any correspondence whatsoever from them. It is truly disappointing as a parent of the school for 7 years to be treated in this manner and furthermore wanting to ***** my image badly at my sons new school by insinuating that we are bad payers as this is how it will reflect to the new school. I am appalled and disgusted by your behaviour and nonchalant approach at handling matters!
I have made a claim with Budget insurance under Telesure Insurance holdings for the write off of my car . They promised to settle and pay for my claim 2 weeks ago and to date they haven’t paid my claim. When I try calling them, their agents just pick up the call, breathe and hang up after a couple of seconds. They then call back as if to ensure that there is a record of them calling back, and keep quiet and don’t say a word. It is the 31st and I need to make an arrangement with my finance so that I don’t pay for a car I don’t have yet Budget insurance treats this like it’s a joke!! Very disappointed and highly agitated especially because this is such a serious matter and it feels like they are not taking it seriously!!

I’ve been waiting for a delivery from Pick n Pay ASAP for over 3 hours now. I’ve made 5 calls speaking to 5 different people and all have been telling me the same nonsense and promising that they will escalate and come back to me but none of them have delivered that promise and I am still without my delivery. What an inconvenience!! They told me about technical issues at first which I understood but it’s ridiculous that they don’t even contact you or keep you in the loop regarding the status of your order whilst resolving those so called technical issues. Over and above, why promise to come back with feedback when there isn’t any intention to do so!? I’ve never been so frustrated waiting for an order to complete a simple cooking exercise hoping and praying that the delivery will come through only to be kept waiting for over 3 hours!!
I rented a car at Avis Budget King shaka Airport over 2 weeks ago and they requested a deposit which they said will be returned within 7 to 10 days. I called them last week Friday to understand why the money hasn't come through yet and I was assured that the money will reflect later on that day however nothing came through. I called them again today to ask what's happening and asked to speak to the supervisor and I have called in more than 3 times and was told the supervisor will come me back all 3 times. Still nothing. To say I am disappointed doesn't begin describing how I am feeling at the moment.
After failing to pay my funeral cover payout on time (taking 2 weeks to pay ot when the promose was 48 hours) they then decide to double debit me. After several attempts to try and get them to reverse the extra money that they debited they have been ignoring me for a month and have now subsequently debited me again. Their last email from one Nhlanhla Mahlangu was asking if I wanted to be refunded and I have been sending them emails almost every second day with no response. What an utter disappointment of services!
I submitted a funeral claim with RMA for a policy I’ve been paying for diligently since 2018, on the 13th March 2024. I never received any feedback til date even with the numerous follow ups I made . This is a funeral policy and the money is to be used for a funeral so I am quite appalled that I haven’t received any communication whatsoever especially since the agreed turnaround time when I took out the policy was 48 hours and I expected this to be done before the weekend as I submitted all required documentation. Your turnaround time is supposed to be 48 hours for a claim and yet I have waited more than 96 hours business days and more than 148 hours overall even though I stressed the importance and urgency around my claim. I am quite disappointed especially because no one has even bothered to contact me or say anything to me since the claim was made and I had to call and send emails only to be responded to with a simple “we are working on it” I really don’t know who to contact that will assist me in this matter. I am quite disappointed in the lack of communication but most importantly in not having the funds timeously to assist in what I initially took the policy for. What horrible service from the funeral claims team! Truly a disappointment!
We have received the worst possible service from Vuma and have been taken from pillar to post !! From installation, to late deliveries and eventually iincomplete packages being delivered!! The worst being mistakenly not registering us!! All this happened whilst we had already paid for a service we still haven't received after almost a month of this back and forth!! Calling and logging calls and nobody coming back to us to resolve the issue!! We are extremely disappointed in the service we have received!!
I am forever at Flora Centre because that's where I go to gym and I have always seen the Huguenot Restaurant. On Saturday the 21st of August 2021, I finally decided its time to try it out. Went there with my son and partner and although the place was empty except for 2 other couple's , I could confidently say the food #WINs!! They have a special they've were running were they had a fillet steak with chips and veggies which was scrumptious and an absolute #WIN!! Thanks for the experience it was amazing!
