Takealot Extremely Poor Customer Services & Delivery Turnaround Time I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with the shockingly poor level of service I have received following my order placed on 01 December 2025. As of 11 December 2025, not a single item has been delivered, despite full payment being made and a confirmed delivery date of 12 December 2025.
On the 22nd November 2024 I requested repairs to my refrigerator a company Known as ALWAYS PROMPT REPAIRS -AMAZING REPAIRS GROUP OF COMPANIES and also KNOWN on business whatsapp as RUDOLPH FRIDGE REPAIRs. I paid via EFT a so CALLED VAT INVOICE R3600-00 incl VAT the invoice bears a 6 months Guarantee . 3 days later the fridge stopped working and several calls made to Leroy & Rudolph and after several days Leroy emerged and yet again the Fridge stopped worked to date the 30th December still awaiting Leroy's PROMISES to return CHRISTMAS has passed and soon NEW YEARS will also pass us by.
This particular company ONEDEALADAY is a company that you purchase items/goods or buy ONLINE. I purchased 2x Vacuum Robots paid and goods were delivered 0only to find that smoke was being emitted from the item. I communicated via email (using the same email address that they usually communicate) regarding the faulty item to no avail. To date I have not received a response. On this company's website I was unable to find a contact number/telephone number. This really poor and disgusting services.
I am in direct contradiction with the response from Digicall who is hiding behind the wings of an eagle instead of being apologetic they rather protect thier poor service delivery. According to Standard Bank SIL.Digicall are contracted to handle after hours queries or claims. They are religiously passing the buck by stating that the claim was with Standard so perhaps they do not have a contract with SIL or I called the INCorrect number. DIGICALL categorically stated that thier systems are not aligned to Standard Bank. Be honest and align your systems so that we the diligent paying consumers are entitled to excellent customer service.
Digicall is outsourced by Standard Bank Insurance to handle claims pertaining to building damages plumbing after hours. Standard bank assured me a day prior that that a company TJs Maintenance will assist to remove a portion of the roof so that the plumbing company Starplex could replace the leaking geyser. Starplex plumbing arrived on time but Tjs maintenance never arrived. I called Digicall Nomusa a very unhelpful person they were unable to trace the claim apparently thier system are not alligned. Starplex whilst awaiting for TJs maintenance already drained the geyser and cut the pipes. However AFTER two hours did not arrive and Digicall was unable to assist.i called Tjs maintenance found on Google and they knew nothing about the claim which left me in a dilemma because this would leave us with no water. I was compelled to hire another building contractor to remove the roof at after hours and urgency fees costs which I had to pay in advance. I called Digicall and spoke with Mogotso who was helpful after much deliberation could trace my claim but still await a call from the supervisor. Digicall and Standard Bank Insurance are the WORST service you could EVER expect.
