Do not subscribe to Greenbacks. I was called asked to join no fees. Next thing I get an sms to collect cards, I tell them I didn't ask for new cards and I am not paying for new cards. They assure me no costs for the new cards. 2 months later I get double debited for card maintance fee. I immediately phone to dispute they tell me I will be refunded in 2 - 3 days. A week later I have not been refunded. I have been phoning everyday and everytime I get told someone will call me back. How am I suppose to feel safe putting money into a bank when the bank deducts money from my account without authorisation.
I have had an unauthorized debit go off of my account. None of the self service portals work, my app keeps crashing, and when I try and login online there is no reset password option. I stay too far away to go into a branch. This is by far the worst experience I have had when it comes to online services.
After so many bad experiences with Internet Service providers, I had to come and give these guys the 5 starts they deserve. Thank you Orca Wireless for the excellent service. Internet is faster than I ordered & there is always someone happy to help me even if my questions go off-topic. Truly a business that looks after its community.
I am very happy with my Money Account with Old Mutual. My bank fees are 80% less. They encourage you to save and savings earn interest not charges. I can control my whole banking experience from my cellphone which suits me perfectly as I stay far out of town. Thank you for this product Old Mutual. I also love how with Old Mutual they educate you on savings and reward you with Old Mutual rewards for budgeting and saving unlike other banks that push you to get credit cards or loans. South Africa needs more banks like this.
I am a Cellc user for the past 10 years, yes there have been hiccups but they are always resolved, they are my go to guys when my phone gets lost stolen or broken, opening a new contract is effortless, affordable and quick. Upgrading is also a no nonsense experience. I have dealt with another service provider that has hidden fees etc and it just reminded me to appreciate the company's that do treat you right. Vodacom charges you for your old and new handset when you upgrade. My other service provider does not do this, and I was not advised that they will be doing this. I will never deal with Vodacom again. If I had known this would be the case I would have gone else where, I only upgraded with Vodacom as I already had a contract and it would have been an easier transition but if they are going to treat me like I opened up a secondary contract I will definitely not be staying with them.
I requested a settlement letter from Game which I received the 29th of May. The payment was made on the 30th of May and I provided them with the proof of payment. I only received a response on the 11th of June, even after the promise of a response within 48 hours. When I phone they tell me to email so there is nothing I could have done to speed up the process. The response said that they will close my account in the next 36 days but my balance will remain zero. Knowing Game is tardy with account closures I thought nothing of it. Today 15 June I received a bill of R70.36 ??? I paid my settlement amount. I requested the account to be closed. Now you are billing me??? When I responded to this email I received a reply about how to check my balance via cellphone banking. I am trying to get out of debt and you are scamming me for more money. I expect this to be resolved before my debit order date on the 20th where after I will go the legal route.
