i recently bought a second hand Mercer laptop at Cash crusaders Arcadia. the same day got home and realized that it had no drivers for connecting to the internet - I then took it back the next day and this was fixed - A few days later realized after attending my first meeting with the laptop that the microphone doesn't work - I took it back and that they couldn't fix. After 2 days of going up and down trying to get this sorted with them during my working hours, they then decided yesterday to replace the laptop with a different one. i took the new one home and through out the night it was just slow and i could barely get anything done with it - I woke up and logged into netflix to watch a movie and a few seconds later the screen turned blue with an error message: something has gone wrong please keep your device on while we fix it.. I just let it be and eventually it restarted but after the restart when i logged in the screen will just go blank so i took it back this morning. they have been trying to fix it ever since, i must SAY i have been listened to through out the process however i have been treated like I'm desperate to own this laptop. nothing gets done on time i currently have 3 warnings from work for disappearing because i wanted to get this fixed and every time i go there ill wait for hours to get assistance i cannot afford to lose my job and i cannot afford to go there and wait even a second more than i already have, just so i can get the problem fixed. please i want my money back. you can keep your trash laptops i just want to never enter that store again and the only way is for me to be refunded and ill make sure i never walk in that store again. no one is doing me a favor and I'm tired of being treated as though they are doing me a favor by fixing their trash devices or by helping me when it suits them. i no longer have the capacity to be either patient or nice. i just really never want to set foot there again
Please assist, I opened a funeral plan in April 2025 my first debit order was supposed to go off 25 April 2025 but there was insufficient funds in May June July Augst 25th insufficient funds again i was convinced that the policy has lapsed and is closed but this morning i received money in my bank account and as i was trying to make a transaction my account declined for insufficient funds. what nonsense is the debit order mandate for this first of all i never even accepted it but you still try to debit for 5months you kept debiting, and it always failed until this morning on the 28/08/2025 when my account was debited twice. why? the debit order already returned unpaid on the agreed date 25th of every month why is my account being debited on the 28th I did not agree to this if i wanted to pay off my arrears i was going to call and make arrangements who gave you the right to take my money. i want it back all of it. i am also sending this complaint to the Ombudsman. I was assisted by the call centre manager Amanda who advised that nothing can be done to reverse these deductions as according to my policy agreement they are allowed to recover arrears anytime they want.
Registered with Stadio a couple of weeks ago.. Received a conditional letter of acceptance immidiately Which required me to pay for registration so I paid and uploaded my docs together with POP.. I still haven't received my Acceptance letter regardless of the countless follow-up emails I've sent them I spent hours on the phone the other day trying to get assistance with no success and eventually I was told that the student number I received from Stadio does not exist and they can't pick me up on their system... No body ever responds to my emails and ive tried everything to get assistance but they have no remorse. And this has cost me a bursary funding. So if you are thinking of registering with them think twice and reconsider. I can only imagine how they treat their students if this is how they treat potential students. Anyway I want nothing to do with this institution all I want is my refund for payments made so I can register somewhere else where I'll be treated fairly and professionally.
Bought a laptop on 26 September. Requested for a Return the very same day as tbe touchpad wasn't working. Tgey were supposed to colle it the next day they didnt and they kept postponing. I then logged a request for a redund and the laptop and charger were collected on the 30th September. On the 4th october i then received an email stating that i didnt not return the power adaptor and if i dont respond the email in 3 days i wont get my refund. I responded the same day stating that the laptop did npt come with a power adaptor. It only came with a small charger and i have returned both. I still havent receibed any feedback. I called several times and i emailed several times but no one cares to respond to my email or phone calls. Or even tell me wats the status of ny request. The customer services is the worst. And as for accusing me for keeping a power adaptor that never even came with the notebook thats absord. I just want my refund and ill be sure to remember not to ever purchase anything from takealot again.
I recently took out a funeral and life cover with Absa Life in March 2019 the start date of these is 01 April 2019. March the 23rd 2019 R213.05 was deducted off my account as they say that the policy must be paid in advance. My mother passed away on the 29th of March 2019 and my policy reduced to 174.02 meaning that (I paid a premium for my mom even though she was dead) end of April I added all my family members on the funeral policy and my premium increased from R174.02 to R387.04 the April debit order did not go through so in May they deducted R174.02 + R387.04 = R561.09 that was fine, on the 21st of June I received and sms stating "YOUR POLICY COMMENCED ON 01/04/2019 AND THE NEXT DEBIT DUE ON 23/06/2019 WILL INCLUDE PREMIUMS FOR 06/2019 AND 07/2019 FOR ANY QUERIES, CALL 0860227253. FSP36116". I did not understand the sms so I called the number, the lady that assisted me confirmed that my policies were up to date and the sms must've been a mistake, Sunday 23/062019 a double deduction went off my account and amount of R774.14 and another one for R294.90, I just spoke to Brendon the manager and Benny the agent (ref: 1/11409682831) and they say that when I added my family members have been added fro 01 April 2019 hence they have double debited my account. how hell would this be I mean they have no right to double debit my account without a detailed explanation, I called for an explaination immediately when I received the sms and they confirmed that it was a mistake, I did not budget for a double deduction and I feel it is very unfair that absa decided to recover funds that were supposed to go off in April only now in June without even telling me, because the sms sent stated that its for June and July premiums and now they are saying the premium is for April, I want Absa to refund me because their information is misleading and they did not follow the right ways to inform me abou what is happening to my policies, I need a refund on both the Life cover and the funeral policy because they double deducted on both.
THESE PEOPLE HAVE COMMITTED FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT THEY CALLED ME A FEW TIMES THIS MONTH OFFERRING ME SOME PRODUCT, THEY SAID IT WAS FREE FOR THE FIRST MONTH AND IF I LIKE IT I CAN CONTINUE WITH IT, I REFUSED TO TAKE THE PRODUCT THE LADY THAT WAS ASSISTING ME TRANSFERRED ME TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO WAS ALSO TRYING TO CONVINCE ME TO TAKE THE PRODUCT I STILL REFUSED, THE CALLED ME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND I STILL REFUSED TO TAKE TH PRODUCT, IVE JUST CHECKE MY BANK STATEMENT AND I SEE THEY HAVE DEDUCTED AND AMOUNT OF R45 x 3 and R95 the bank is gonna charge me R608 BECAUSE TH DEBIT OREDERS WILL NOT PAY. I NEED A REFUND FOR THE BANK CHARGES
I was hospitalised 16-22/10/2017 my medical aid Medshield Authorised my admission in Arwyp Hospital, but did not pay the full account, they claimed I was liable for a Co-payment because I used a NON-DSP whilst they are the ones who authorised the admission I have proof of my authorisation which clearly states that I am liable for a co payment for a gastroscopy but nothing about non DSP. I have for countless times enquired and tried to resolve this matter for almost 2 years now and no one is willing to assist, the supervisors and managers of Medshield all just make empty promises of resolving the issue and waiver the co payment till date I still haven't received any help. I have been Blacklisted by the hospital and I have a judgement against me for this account and amount of R+7000 now the account is over R10 000 because of the legal fees that are added on this account. I couldn't get my daughter into a good private school because my credit record was bad, all because of Medshield's unprofessionalism. I am strongly unhappy with the kind of service I have received with medshield and I can only imagine how many other people are affected by the kind of service they provide to their members, years just to fix one account where they have made a mistake. I wouldn't advice anyone to join the medical aid and I myself will be leaving it as soon as this has been fixed. I don't understand what kind of medical aid with this , I pay medical aid monthly on time but they fail to deliver, what the hell is that, if I missed a payment for a month you wouldn't even allow me to consult a doctor, Get this matter resolved ASAP I can not wait any longer than I have already waited. Not a lot of people have good thing to say about Medshield, I gave you a chance and you have disappointed me too, it wont be long till the rest of the world sees it too.
