Our dog Loki went for a simple procedure at the end of Nov 2025 to treat one toe nail. The cost was R7,000+. Apparently they were going to remove the nail in order to solve the problem. They never did, the nail was just cut off against the skin, completely regrew in one month and we are sitting with the same problem. TAH jist cares about making money and not about the animals. They charged me R700 to change a bandage a week later. When I called today to see the vet who performed the procedure I was told it is “almost impossible” , I will have to see someone else. The receptionist, Zelda, also didmt even give me a chance to explain anything or what happened. I will definitely not support them again. I shoudld have listened to all the bad reviews I received from them. They even lost my ****orkers cat a couple of years ago when they left a window open where the cat was held. Absolutely appalling!
I have been frustrated with Standard Bank for a week now. I sold my car last week and settled my Standard Bank Vehicle finance. They then deducted my debit order for the car I sold. I phoned them since last week Friday, every day, twice on Monday. They then keep my on the phone for almost 30 min at a time. Just to tell me the refund has been loaded, it will be paid today. I STILL haven’t received my refund. When you ask to escalate the matter, they just say they will make a note :( So gatvol of SB right now.
NEVER In my entire life did I struggle with such a useless bunch of people and useless bank. the ONLY product I have with ABSA is a credit card. I requested a new credit card and it took my 3 phone calls and 3 weeks just so that they could tell me nothing happened as yet. No one knows what is going on and why the card has not been printed. Then I had to go down to the branch in order for them to sort it out because the call centre are utterly useless. I did that and they ensured me everything was sorted and the card would be delivered within 5-7 days. I just called them now and AGAIN the call centre agent advised that the card has not even been printed as yet. USELESS USELESS USELESS bank. I don't even know HOW in God's name they are still in business. I might as well talk to a brick wall. Don't ever do business with this bank. I would gladly suggest Standard Bank and FNB. Not to mentioned how user "unfriendly" the BIS are (as I have to use that at work in comparison with that of FNB. AND the app AND the internet banking.
Property Partners (Property Management and Sales) There are the worst Property Management Service ever. Every single time that we had to make use of the I had so send a couple of emails to ask a simple question. I even had to request our monthly statements, which they don't send on time or at all, but when you don't pay on time you get a R100 penalty. To receive your deposit when you move out of the property takes forever and there is also no communication. But the worst part it, we had a R22,000 deposit with them. They told us we earner R123 interest on it over more than a two year period. Their contracts also states that they take 50% of your interest when you vacate. I have no idea where they invest the deposit because R123 is less than 1% interest annually. It is pure daylight robbery. At my previous house myself and my house mate received R1200 interest EACH after one year of staying in the house and the deposit was R28 000. Their services is terrible and their way of doing business is somewhat suspicious. Sure the EAAB should look into that.
We have accepted a quote from Vox on 30 June already - up until to today, which is 10 days later no engineer has contacted us yet to activate our line yet( fibre installation was complete more than a year ago by previous tenants). First of all the sales agent was on sick leave for a week without any out of office email. We then called and called without anyone being able to help us. Only on 09 July did a lady by the name of Michelle help us by telling us they need an object number from Vumatel. Then the whole process was basically completed in a day. However, we are still waiting for Wifi router to be installed and activated even though it shows on the Vox App that our line is active. I wonder if we will be paying for the days we are not able to use the fibre/date. The deals might be good but the service is terrible!!! I wonder how it is going to go once the fibre is up and running and we encounter a problem.. I will start praying so long. I keep on calling the sales agent and now he is not answering his phone anymore either.. In the meantime I am working from home and have no internet connection so have to use my phone. Thanks Vox...
