I enquired about a garden flat for rent on Property24 as wellas via WhatsApp. On Monday morning, the rental agent, Mariska Swannepoel, contacted me to confirm a viewing appointment for Wednesday at 15h30. After receiving no further communication, I reached out to her on Wednesday morning to reconfirm the appointment and request the physical address. She stated that she was busy finalizing other appointments and would get back to me via WhatApp. By 15h00, having still heard nothing, I phoned her directly to obtain the address, which she then provided. She also asked me to reschedule for 16h10. However, due to light traffic, I arrived at 15h45, only to find no one else present. Mariska later claimed she could not locate me on WhatsApp, but upon verifying her number, I discovered an existing conversation with her dating back to 2022. The property itself was in poor condition: the garden was neglected, the main bedroom cupboard was hanging off its hinges, and the front sliding door was extremely dirty and appeared unused. After the viewing, Mariska requested that I send her my email address via WhatsApp so she could forward the application form. I eventually received the form at 22h00 on Thursday evening. I completed and returned it the following Friday morning, asking her to keep me updated on the approval process. By the next Wednesday, still without knowing it the application was approved, I included the agency's Director in my email. Only then did I receive a prompt response confirming that my application had been approved, but that it was now pending the owner's approval. Yesterday (Friday), I asked for clarification regarding the owner's approval process, as the duration was taking longer than expected. This morning, I was informed that my application had not been approved by the owner. I have received no proof of this decision-only the agents word, which raises concerns about her integrity and honesty throughout the process. Mariska then asked me to send her my requirements for the type of property I am seeking so that she could further assist me. However, after responding to two other listings on Property24-both of which she manages-I have yet received no reply from her.
Thank you dear Linda - senior consultant of Oneplan Insurance for making my day awesome! She managed to reduce my policy to a more affordable plan within just a few hours, while I am being retrenched at work. Changing plans usually has a notice period of 30 days. Linda managed to accommodate me within 15 days. I am forever grateful to you Linda! Thank you so much for your empathy.
I am very disappointed in One Plan. I'm being retrenched and are therefore trying to reduce my monthly premiums. I have been struggling since Friday to get hold of a "senior" consultant that can downgrade my plan before the next debit date. I have been phoning, but phoning does not connect you to any "senior" consultant. You need to receive a call back. I have been leaving messages on their website to call me back. I have been sending e-mails. With no response to any of the above.
Thank you OUTsurance for making my day awesome! Tshego Dikobe sucessfully managed to bring my premium down with more than a R100 after being retrenched at my work. Thank you so much for your empathy OUTsurance.
I sent them a Whatsup to change my email address on my policy. I was expecting a call back, but instead immediately received a reply that Sibusiso Ncambaca had already seen the request and updated my personal information. I am super impressed with the quick response.
Hereby I would like to share my awesome experience with Outsurance. I bumped my Clio in the Brooklyn mall against a pillar while watching a pedestrian end of November last year. Outsurance send me to the accessor close by. And from there everything moved smoothly. My Clio went to Auto Magic Centurion for a week only, and all set, ready to collect. My Clio is looking like a brand-new car. They renewed the black of the side strips and bumper. The scratches on the roof I struggled to wax out, is gone as well. I am so chuffed, I can't stop looking at my car. Thank you so much Outsurance, for my big Christmas present! (:
Just Properties has been my managing agent for a property in Hillcrest for the past 3 years. Everything went well until I informed the rental agent that I wanted to sell the property. He sounded exited in his email to help with the selling of the property and promised to come back to with competent prices in the area. But he never did. He didn't list the property either. After a month of complete silence, I phoned his boss to enquire as to why the property still wasn't listed. In the meanwhile, I had responses from two other agents on my Junk mail adverti*****t. I asked the rental agent to accommodate the two agents to take photos of the flat while he was doing his 6-month inspection on the property. The one agent came to me responding that the rental agent purposefully or not, misled them as to the time frame available to take photos. After another three months out of ignorance and desperateness I asked the current tenant if he would be interested in buying the property from me privately. Just Properties reminded me that I had signed a mandate with them and that 6% plus vat of the selling price to the current tenant is due to them. I had to let that boat sail, as Just Properties commission is pushing the selling price too high for that market. I decided not to renew my mandate contract with Just Properties end of January 2025, but to rent privately to the current tenant while the property is still in the market. According to Just Properties mandate I owe them R1200 penalties for doing this, which I acknowledged in my correspondence to them. They love bringing me back to my mandate contract, but today is the 10th of January and I still haven't received any payment or correspondence from Just Properties for the month of January. According to their mandate, payment should be done before or on 7th of each month. This morning, I received an automatic invoice from Just Properties system for R0 paid.
Everything started going wrong after getting a new cell phone device from Vodacom's store in Menlyn Pretoria. The agent promised me 40gig of data for my work. He never specified that 20gig of the 40gig was for nighttime only. I've been paying in R720 per month to get enough data to do my work. On the 23 December 2024 I upgraded the data to 70gig. I compromised on airtime for data. Now I'm out of airtime phoning after Vocacom and Skynet agents that either doesn't know how to do their job or are looking to make a quick buck by lying about contract details and/or date for contracts starting. I still only have 20gig anytime. But my debit order still conveniently is the same with no airtime. The delivery from Skynet that was going to take place between the 27th and the 31st of December hasn't taken place either. I phoned after Skynet on the 31st of December where the agent kept on dropping the phone after answering it. All I wanted to do was inform her is that my residential address is Rietfontein, as correctly specified on their system, and not Elandsfontein. And with all the promises from the Vodacom Rewards centre yesterday on the 2nd of January 2025, to speed up the delivery and notifying me on a non-data sim only cell still hasn't come true either.
