My contract with Vodacom ends last day of October 2019. I have tried to make arrangements with Vodacom to cancel my contract once my contract expired but they have refused multiple times and will only accept cancellations after full payment has been received. In the mean time Vodacom collections department notified me that “without notice” they held back 4 months of invoices showing I need to pay R0 for the month yet they tried taking debit orders each month during that period but yet the denied taking debit orders. Without my consent vodacom had extended my 24 month contract with an extra 5 months and “already billed” for stating that late payments on there system show as no payment. I have tried to speak with them but there arrogant customer service was no help at all. How can vodacom hold back invoices as well as extend my contract without my consent. According to them they never billed me for 4 months but counting each month + the extended 5 months add up to the total amount I have to pay
I Have being trying to get through to Cell C's Legal department for the last 3 days and no answer, only that annoying back ground music. All I need is a paid up letter for a contract that ended with them 5 years ago and has only being resolved November 2017. They do not reply to any of my emails and the first time they phoned me they got my email wrong trying to correct them they hung up! They do not care about their clients. Pathetic!!
