What an amazing brand. They are cheap enough to afford and good enough to play with the "big boys". Not regretting it at all!
Now that I am calmed down - I can let everybody know that I am absolutely appalled, disgusted and shaken by the horrendous service I have received from Uber Eats Call Centre. After spending over R10,000 with them this year, I dared collecting my own order - what a mistake that was! Arranged with the restaurant, they said it is okay as long as I leave the driver a note, which I did. A few minutes after I get a call from this kid at their call centre, who starts shouting at me like I am some kind of animal - then hangs up the phone in my ear as I try to explain to him why I had collected it myself - and this in front of my guests, in the car, on loud speaker. What an embarrassment for our society this guy is. No, I am not calling Uber, I am not spending another cent on them. If they care enough about customer service they can contact me. Owning and managing an eCommerce company is harder than it might appear, and without these guys it we would not have been where we are today. They not only repaired our "broken" website, but completely transformed it. They did what so many told us was impossible, and it a short amount of time, at a decent price! I would highly recommend them, as we are still using them to this day. Great job guys!!
Well I have a mouth full... So we signed up with Affinity Health and how wonderful it was, we took all the bells and whistles, every extra they have to make sure we are covered in full for anything life may throw our way. I am paranoid, so I went into detail on about 10 different emergency situations I could think of, and made sure that it would be covered under the emergency/accident plan. I was assured that we would be covered up to R775,000 in case of an emergency, time and time again. There are waiting periods, but emergencies are covered from day one. So month 1 we had some personal things to take care of and we could not make the payment, I called accounts and made an arrangement to pay it before the next debit was to go off. Then an emergency happened, actually one of the specific things I mentioned and asked about, one of the things I was assured would be covered. What now, no there is NO COVER because we are in the waiting period, what bull****. When I asked for the recordings there was a lot of stories, and eventually I was told it is their property and they will not send it to me. Then they said but the account was not paid, but then I called the acc department and they confirmed that that is not an issue as an arrangement is in place. They then fell around story after story, refusing to accept that the recordings state exactly what was told and sold to us. Now an "investigation" is underway (note they still refuse me my own voice recordings). If I had not been lied to and deceived from the very start, if I had known that what I wanted would not be covered as an emergency I never would have gone with them. Affinity Health - you are disgusting.
Always goes the extra mile, communicating until late at night well after business hours. Fast delivery and friendly service even with a difficult client such as myself - Elotshop deserves a thumbs up from me!
