Sadly, once a popular icon of South Africa is declining at an alarming rate. This resort is now old and tired. It needs a revamp. I spent more time at reception than I actually spent on the resort. It was my daughters birthday but no one actually cared that we were celebrating a special occasion. From getting my booking wrong, to allocating us to rooms that reeked of block drains and sewerage, to not being able to find my deposit and insisting that I didn’t pay. I was just made to look like a constant fool by management. I even stayed the one night in the lobby because they wouldn’t relocate us because the resort was full. No one - not one single person from the staff, stopped to help. Everyone just ignored this crazy lady sleeping in the lobby. I find it absolutely ridiculous that they allocate families with small children to rooms of substandard. Children need to breathe those disgusting smells. It’s an absolute heath hazard. Come on Sun City - up your game or it will work out cheaper for us to fly to other destinations for a better holiday. If you add the atrocious roads and non-existent customer service, this isn’t worth the drive. Managers also need an urgent crash course in customer service.
We look for a quick and easy way to get flowers and gifts to our loved ones. Netflorist has been messing me around since 2021, yet silly me still continues to support them. I ordered a gift for my daughter, which was never delivered. Apparently, they tried to deliver but they have no proof of this. I was then told that since it’s Valentine day, they can only deliver the 16th. Her birthday was the 10th. I requested a refund. They said they could could only do a 50% refund, which I declined because it wasn’t my fault. I was then told a full refund would be proceeded. 3 days later, I only have a portion that was refunded. No notification as usual. We really need to boycott this continued pandemic of poor service and pulling the wool over our eyes.
These people are a fly by night. Don’t stick to appointments and have a constant flow of excuses. They don’t respond to messages either and when I tried calling, the said they would call me back. I’m still waiting for the call. They were recommended on our ladies group but sadly, my interactions with them served fruitless. I made appointments twice with them and both times I was given the run around and no show. 😢
I purchased two Pairs of shoes for my son, one was on 26.12.2020. Please note - He plays multiple sports and has different shoes for each sport. In Jan, the Salomon started to tear at the seams. I took the shoe back and they didn’t have his size, so I chose another pair. I noticed in February, the Adidas, which is the one purchased at the end of Dec, was also tearing. I took it back to Sportsman's Warehouse - and the buyer says that it’s not the quality of the product, so there’s nothing they can do about it. If my son is wearing the shoe every day, I would acknowledge that maybe he is hard on his shoes. But he wears the shoes once a week, sometimes once in two weeks. And on a side note - he wears his school shoes everyday, this year marks 2.5 years, he’s been wearing his school shoes, which is Green Cross. Do this is proof that he is not hard on his shoes. It seems to me Sportmans Warehouse is stocking grey product. If they look on my purchase history, they will notice I am always buying sports shoes and sports products but going forward, I will be changing my supplier.
Good day, During the month of May, June and possibly July, I've had fraudulent activities added to my VODACOM bill. Despite me questioning the data usage for May, at the end of May, and requesting the data to be switched off in June, there has been data usage in June. The charges are for opera.com, lavamobi, Hungamamusic. I have never agreed to these subscriptions. The charges are in excess of R20000. This is theft and I will not leave this alone. I will take this further. I logged a query with VODACOM, I sent affidavits but still I've had no response from VODACOM. And to be still billed, despite requesting cancellation of data services is totall going against my consumer rights. VODACOM needs to reverse these fraudulent debits and prove to my where and when I subscribed to these Billings and where I agreed for my data services to be deactivated. It is totally unfair, as I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years.
