I am so disappointed that SABC have lost the rights to broadcast Comrades Marathon. How many other national sporting events have we lost to Supersport over the years? Comrades Marathon is something that i always watch and now i can't because i don't have DSTV... SABC expects people to pay TV licenses but can't offer substantial broadcasting to the general public.
I received a call from Roadcover on thursday (17 Feb) and what concerned me was how they easily accessed my private banking information (ie account number, etc) from when i first opened my Absa account in the early 2000's. I was promised that within 2 business days i would receive documentation and that still has not transpired. When i queried this company with Absa they had no idea who they were. People - BEWARE... this seems to be a scam...
Vodacom Store at Lakeside Mall in Benoni is the most helpful and friendliest store i have ever been into. Every time i have needed assistance, the staff always have a smile on their faces and are more than willing to assist. Thank you for you fantastic service
I advise NO ONE to take out a policy with 1Life Direct... I learnt my lesson the hard way. I found out last year that i was only covered for Accidental Death & not Natural Death... The call centre agent did probably tell me that when i got a sales call 10 years ago... But they play on a person's emotions - and didn't explain it properly. Over R35000 i've paid out over the past 10 years and i had no choice but to cancel both my policies with them. 1Life Direct are sharks & i am glad that i rather contacted Liberty...
I sent a cancellation letter and wanted a acknowledgement by close of business today (9 Feb) from Chandre Judas... NO RESPONSE. If i see that money is deducted from my bank account at the end of the month, there will be trouble. I expect a response from Senior Management regarding this matter and NOT a call centre clerk by close of business tomorrow (10 Feb). If i do not get the requested response - i will be taking this further!
For a change we had a good experience with Telkom!! We want to say a huge thank you to the consultant that assisted us. After all the difficulty that we've had - we found out what the underlying problem has been all along... Friends asking to connect up to our wi-fi and we were not aware that it uses a lot of data! Thanks to this consultant - he assisted us in changing our password and explaining how to keep track of the cap usage! Since all friends have been removed it has been a dream... Sorry to say this but it's now visible to us that our friends were taking advantage of our generosity and making us suffer... Thank you Telkom - you've helped us tremendously.
I am very disillusioned with 1Life Direct at the moment. I was in contact with a lady by the name of Chandre Judas (Resolutions Officer) last year and she was very nice... I sent the same lady an email regarding my policy on 28 January 2021 and no response was received!! Due to Covid - i am reviewing my current policies and needed advice... Do i have to drop dead before anyone will help me? I have been paying faithfully for 10 years and the wool was pulled over my eyes with one of my policies and it wasn't explained correctly and only found out to my horror that it wasn't what i expected. If i receive no response soon, social media will be my next step.... Pull up your socks 1Life or i will take this further...
We are so irritated and angry with Telkom. Every time we pay our account - the internet goes off whack!!! What are we paying for? Miserable, pathetic service with consultants that can't even speak english clearly... When there is something wrong - they simply say "it will be fixed as soon as possible"... Fat lot of good that ever does. Telkom doesn't even respond to messages posted on Hellopeter.com... Telkom is beyond useless but there is nothing that we can do. Like everything else in this country - service delivery sucks... I want service from them, NOT excuses!!!
Once again SANTA RIO SPUR (Lakeside Mall, Benoni) is TOPS!!!! We don't often go and eat out - but there are certain days that you need to get out and about. It is always a pleasure to walk into their store and have awesome service. Many thanks to management (Cousins) and Thandeka (Waitron) for the wonderful service. Thank you
We went to Pick 'n Pay (Lakeside Mall) this morning (8:30) and the shop was getting busy as it would be payday for clients. Only 2 cashiers were working and working like snails... When we eventually got to the till - the cashier was arrogant and rude. She was so rude that i actually approached the store manager and apologised for her attitude. That's not what you expect from Pick 'n Pay. Pick 'n Pay at Lakeside Mall should take a look at how the branch (Pick 'n Pay Farrarmere) should be run. Even Oakfields is top quality. Lakeside Mall has A LOT of work to do before they can match these flagship shops...
