I just received a call from a lady at Conducive Group trying to sell me insurance. When asked where my number was obtained from, I was informed it would be in their data base based on a previous opt-in option for marketing. Since I never opt in for marketing communication, I requested once again who the provider of their database is, upon which I was informed that it was Transunion. Please let me know how it is that credit bureau information has been obtained when there are ongoing articles regarding a supposed hack of South Africa's credit bureaux where data has been obtained?

Thank you Warren for the support and kindness shown after my car was involved in an accident. He stayed by my side while I waited for my husband to arrive, and assisted me with what was required in order for the insurance company to pay, rather than me having to pay for the towing service. This was my first time interacting with a tow truck driver during an accident situation, and I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much for your all the compassion shown.
Thank you very much to Khaya Godlo for assisting me during my accident. I phoned before 8AM and was fortunate to have her answer the call. She took me through all the information needed, got the information of the other person involved in the accident, and arranged for the tow truck driver with me to take my car to an assessment center. I have not had to worry about any of the steps during the claim process as Santam has taken ownership of it, and provides me with regular updates. Thank you team!
This is a scam! Do not accept or pay any money across as we were just scammed when my son was contacted for a position at Madonsela Construction and Projects. Within a couple of hours he received a confirmation of being successful in his application, without any formal interview having been conducted. The next day he was to return and pay a fee in order for them to do the necessary ITC check,etc. He was given an employment contract with no further confirmation of when to report for duty. When he phoned later on after not having paid the full fee, the 'employment agency' wanted him to pay the balance of the fee across via e-wallet before his 'application' would be completed. They are preying on young, desperate people who wants to make a living with no conscience.
Unsolicited cold calling because they have gotten my details of some obscure database. Unacceptable!
I recently made the decision to move our fibre contract to Cool Ideas. From the first contact, till router set up this team has been amazing. Keeping me up to date every step of the way no matter how often I contacted them to ensure that from my side I was keeping an eye on everything as well. Fantastic work every step of the way!
Unsolicited call. My details were obtained from the South African Consumer database. Now which company currently still believes that it is perfectly normal to make use of cold calling when no explicit authorisation is obtained to make use of a consumers details? Absolutely nonsense!
I just received a cold call from Get Solution South Africa in order to consolidate debt. First of all, my details are not to be shared for any marketing as I always ensure that this option is selected. So who shared my details!? This in unsolicited, and highly aggravating as these poor young people are sucked into an industry that is most often highly stressed, with the promise of making money off people, like me, who prefer to not be disturbed. It seems as if these marketing databases are worse than the mini-bus taxi drivers on the road, as they are a law unto themselves as well.
I just received a phone call from the above insurer. According to Herbert from MyWay, my details was obtained Blue Lable Data Solutions. I did not authorise my details to be shared, and do not appreciate being contacted.
