MTN double charges of interest, and unexplained increased instalment amounts more than the agreed instalment with no explanation as to why the amounts reached to that level. But rather they send me increased bills and notification letters to report me to ICT for not making payments.A I have been with MTN for years and never changed to any service provider, but I have not been happy with MTNs service as they overcharge me with ridiculous bills. I have taken steps to salvage the situation according to my agreement with MTN but still MTN is not helping instead they making matters worse every time. I had two contract accounts with MTN which I received this double charges and interest so early this year still received double payments when I asked MTN they said its charges in advance and I shouldn't worry and must continue paying as per my monthly amount. I decided to pay up one of my contract for the phone account in 13th July 2020, and leave the other active because of the ridiculous bills they keep charging me. MTN gave me a bill of R7,715 to pay up my phone account which I paid on the 17th July 2020 at their service outlet, and then pay additional R500 for the laptop contract because I asked for the new installment which I will be paying onward, but they couldn’t give me the new installments because their system was down, which I kept going for consecutive three days, and never got the new installment details. I called in and went to their outlet numerous times to ask how much is my now installment, which I never got any response as their systems are down and they say it has been happening for the whole week but I keep been visiting the MTN outlets to get clarity for my bill. But I kept making a payment of R500 every month from July, except on the 19th September 2020, when I paid an amount of R610 after calling MTN, then gave me an instalment amount for my account is R246, and then I also called the MTN insurances, they also gave me a payment of R208.10 for the cellphone insurance and R72.81 for the laptop insurance. I summed it up to R608, which was why I made a payment of R610 in September since I still didn't know what was happening as I asked them numerous times at MTN which they could not explain. The problem now is, I have settled one account, and only have one account left from July, which I have been paying an amount of R500 from July, then R610 in September. But now I’m receiving a "NOTICE FOR PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING DEBT" with a charge of R833.05 which stated I should pay within 10 days, and if no payment is received they will take legal action to blacklist me on Credit Bureau. I called again to ask about the legal action against me and blacklisting my name, then asked the consultant at MTN check what’s going on, but to my surprise told me I have to pay R4300 which shocked me again because I have been the one making efforts now they give me another ridiculous bill that doesn't make sense again. The consultant said I need to call the accounts at MTN to find out why, because in his system he can see that I did settle the account, and that it will be checked further on what exactly happened. on Monday the 4th of October 7:05 I received a notice. On Monday the 5th I called MTN again informing them of the issue they transferred me to the accounts unit and the consultant said he was picking up double charges in the system and he will send an email for complaint and I should call back again on Thursday. I called as I was told to follow up. The Response I got was again different from the one I got on Monday as assurance. I spoke to a lady who was rude to avoid further conflict I decided to disconnect and call again then another lady responded which I continued the conversation of what happened and asked her for feedback she still didn’t give me feedback as per the Monday consultants promise to resolve the issue. She said I owed R833.05 and I asked again her to explain where the bill came from since I did pay last month bill and I am yet to pay this moths bill. She said it was interest and late payment and said I was paying late including the charges MTN system adds on interest also the bill for this month will be included which will be R1040… and I will receive another bill on the 17th October for this month. She also said she can only see the payments from January then I asked her to send me those statements for me to validate on my side and ended the conversation. Because all the questions I was asking were not being responded to as to how come I am paying my installments every month I never miss monthly payment, why am I receiving so much charges and interest which they are not responding to that question. The day sent a different statement showing I Owed R2050.00 with a previous balance of R1943.05. this morning another statement overnight come in with amount of R3970.63. These are the ridiculous amounts I have been receiving from MTN please Please assist as I don't know what else to do in this situation. I actually started noticing in 2019 that MTN statement of account in regards to my installment is not clear as I pay my monthly installments but MTN send me crazy bills that their consultant finds it hard to explain most of the times when I call in or go to the service outlets. There’s a contract agreement because I signed in agreement with payment date, but they have a different date of charging your account which is not in correlation with your agreement and then make extra hidden charges I am not aware of. The charge me bills that are not making sense, and last year I asked them to send me a statement to check my bill against my monthly payment and discovered the interest part of it. insurances, they also gave me a payment of R208.10 for the cellphone insurance and R72.81 for the laptop insurance. I summed it up to R607, which was why I made a payment of R610 in September since I still didn't know what was happening as I asked them numerous times at MTN.
<div>i went to Unique Auto Centre to make inquiry with regards to their advertisement to repair gearbox at R1,700. my husband and i told them the problem with my car, and they charged a total of R2,500. They asked to come pick the car if we are ready to repair since the car is driving, and they came to pick it up. Unique Auto center contacted me after few weeks and told me my gearbox would cost R16,000, and i told them i ll need to take my car as the amount they charged is way too beyond my budget as i can't afford since they told me initially ll cost R2500 which i had budgeted for. They advised if i can afford R10,000 for them to change the gearbox, clutch, and flywheel, which was difficult for me, but i accepted since they guarantee that it ll be done perfectly and i wont have to go through the problem again. i paid a deposit of R5,000, and told me it ll be ready in two weeks, but got a call from them two months later that my car is ready after numerous calls following up on the progress of my husband's car as they have promised it ll be ready in two weeks. I tested the car with them, which it took longer to start the car than it should, and the gear was so hard to change, and there was also some funny noise which i complained about, but i was told that the noise is due to the new parts that was replaced and needs to be driven for a while, then it ll stop the noise. I paid the remaining balance of R5,000 and left with the car. i called them few minutes later to complain about some problem i was experiencing and they assured me that it will be stabilized as long as i drive the car and incase the problem persist, i should bring the car back to them. I took the car back to them few days later about the same problem and they keep saying the same thing of driving the car more often so the new parts that was replaced would get used to the car. i was stuck in sandton, and tried contacting them which i couldn't get hold of them and ended up paying to tow the car back home. I went there the next day to explain what had happened getting stuck, which they promised to come pick up the car at my place. After few days, i ended up going to their workshop again to tell them that they need to come pick the car up to fix. The owner of Unique auto center called Dani told one his workers to follow me to my house to fix something in the car, which we went but the worker couldn't and we ended up towing the car to their workshop on the 10th December 2019. Dani the owner of unique auto center told me they will be closing on the 13th of december and will be resuming back to work on the 6th January 2020. I went back to Unique Auto center on the 7th January 2020 and to only find out that they have relocated their workshop which i wasn't informed about their move. My car is still with them and all their three contact number is not going through. i was given the direction to his house by someone at the next shop close to their workshop which i went there and was told hes not around at the moment. Dani the owner of Unique Auto center is running away and doesn't want to give me back my car as i have tried many times to see him so i can get back my car. This is theft </div>
Outsurance has been taking me back and forth for 2 weeks now with numerous calls with my claims, and this is so frustrating as they have been sending me back and forth with their repairer, refusing to pay out the cost of the quotes from three different repairer i had sent to them for options to fix my car. I was in an accident 8th October 2019. I was asked to take the car for assessment which i did. Then after few days, i was told that the cost to repair my car is R15,662.40 according to the assessment report, and an excess fee of R4,000 would be deducted which i will have to balance up the R4,000 at the repairer to fix my car. They paid out R11,662.40 and told me to go to any repairer of my choice to get my quote, which i did go to three different repairer, and one of the repairers i went to was one of the repairer that Outsurance uses, which cost about R36,000, and the others were R33,000 and R34,000. Outsurance is claiming that the prices are infiltrated, and i asked them that, one of the repairer is the one they had actually recommended in the report, but all they told me is that, they get discount from the repairers. So they actually telling me that they got a discount of about R24,000. The three different repairer are within the price range from R33,000 - R36,000, and they are all stating that some of the parts should be replaced for guarantee, which I did send those quote to outsurance, and they are rejecting it, insisting that the car be repaired after three different repairer which one of them is the repairer they recommended has indicated to me that if repaired, there wont be a guarantee, but replacement of the parts gives a guarantee. My car has not been fixed, they are not being of any help, and the manager called me to tell me there's nothing they are going to do as the final payout was the R11,6662 they paid. So they basically telling me to pay the rest of about R24,000 to fix my car. The repairer are all saying the same thing and one of them said he could try to fix the bonnet, the washer-bottle is broken that when you put water, the water comes out under the car immediately, the bumper can't be repaired as it's badly damaged. I'm highly disappointed because Outsurance keep insisting, and i think this is what they do to you so you can end up fixing your car with your money even though you pay insurance, and despite the fact that they are not going to repair the car. Outsurance don't live up to what they advertise to their clients, they will stress the day out of you after numerous calls, until you give up to sort your car out by yourself paying out money from your pocket. I'm glad i haven't taken up my other car insurance cover and home insurance cover with them as life cover. I will never advise anyone to use this insurance because they don't care about their customers. I'm actually regretting leaving my previous insurance. All i just want is my car fixed and Outsurance is failing to pay out the cost.
i was paying more than i should have with the same insurance my way and i decided to leave and called my way to cancel, but the consultants on the first days were shifting me to others untill i had it. i decided to call again and i explained how they have been giving me a hustle. the lady transfered me to a guy called REFILWE HE WAS MY GREEN IN GRASS. his service and explanation about the insurance cover i have and how he was going to help me reduce my premium including my other payments of the cover. he told me as a my way client they wouldnt want to loose me. so he gave me an excellent service and results of reduction to high payment. thank you Refilwe at myway.
