We bought a set of speakers. Took it home, fitted in on. It was not sounding right. Packed it back in the box. Took it back to Makro. The supplier in front of them said take it back and send it to me for inspection, however, please give the customer a replacement as he will sort out the damage speakers. The rude lady Wendy Alexander said NO, you send the new unit for the customer. He was rude and refused to assist. Why would anyone want to spend there money at a store were people are rude and unhelpful? The supplier clearly said to lady to change it for the customer, Which part of that did she not understand? The height of incompetence and bad customer service!!!!
It would have been appreciated if at the time of purchase the sales rep brings all of the attached to our attention. Not only on the day we log a complaint. At that time the rep was very happy to accept my payment of R22000 and telling us about the guarantee etc. But when we really have a problem, it becomes an issue and obviously as usual we never get assistance because of NEW conditions that we were not aware about. We spend that kind of money to get VALUE FOR MONEY. However in this case that was not it. I guess I will have to throw away that so called BEST MATTRESS worth R22000 and buy a new one. I’m not ONE BIT happy or satisfied at this stage. Whenever there is help that is needed, new conditions arise. For Simmons it is easy to say indirectly “Go to hell” but for customers it’s our hard earned savings that we expect to last at least 15-20 years? It really is not worth investing so much money on a mattress that after 8/ 9 years, you feel like you back is broken when you wake up in the morning. For 3 years my kids slept on the bed and we have been using it after that. However after a while it is awful. Dont waste you money or listen to Reps and there lies about lifetime guarantee or warranty. There are hidden policies they dont tell you upfront! Just to get your sale!! Never again will I trust Simmons!
It has been 2 years since we are trying to settle this account. I have called the call centre numerous time and they put me on hold time and time again for up to 20 mins to half an hour. Also, when I lost my job in 2016 i advised them that I could not pay the account. No one contacted me alternate arrangements. I now go to the store, a different store all the time to pay this account but they wont accept my payment as they say is handed over! Why cant I just pay this at the store and get it of my back? Do you guys not want your money? Is there any one in your call center interested in assisting? Im so sick and tired of the incompetence of the call centers! If i dont get any feed back from anyone i will go to consumer watch and every social media to get this resolved! Im sick and tired of it!
The people here are so unhelpful, rude and incompetent. They supplied the incorrect parts, were parts were missing from the box. We called to report it as we are leaving for the weekend and needed this urgently. We were transferred from one rude person to another. The last guy Naeem or watever just slam the phone down. My hubby goes there 45 minutes, no manager available and no one can help. This was purchased and reported in approximately 1 hour! So sickening when you are robbed like this and treated badly thereafter!!!!
There is never a time we used khulula and their flights were on time. My husband travels allot from durban to jhb and back. His flight was delayed from dbn to jhb by 2 hours with perfect weather and today coming back from jhb to durban it is ****** delayed again!!!! This time due to weather. So sick of this. We ****** have schedule appointments!!! If you are 2 minutes late they won't even let you in. The staff had such bad ****** attitude!!! We flippen get so hungry sitting and ****** waiting and cannot even leave the damn gate. What kind of service is this!!! Is this service free that we need to be treated this way!!!!
We had purchased a Sinotec TV from Makro about 2 years ago. The sales guy was very helpful. It comes with a 5 year warranty. This is what people look for when you invest money in items like this. There was a rude lady (Pricilla or Premila) such pathetic ways of talking, that called me back today to confirm that we will receive a box, send the TV back to sinotec in JHB and this will take 21 working days. Initially they said to us that a technician will come over to have a look at it. Now we need to send it back to Sinotec. I brought this to her attention, she did not listen. Rushing and speaking, harsh and abrupt and then slammed the phone down before I could even finish. The returns department said to us that they would try to get us a loan TV in the meantime. I am so upset with this ladies pathetic behaviour. Is this the image of Makro? If that is the case, why would people like to shop at Makro? I am so upset with this behaviour. She is obviously the image of Makro.
We have used this the Hyperli site to purchase a photo book voucher for Pix 24. This was in November 2017. We redeemed the voucher in Feb 18. They gave us the run around for 3 months. Eventually, My husband went to there offices and the guy at the shop notified him that they are liquidated. We asked him, what about out photo books and the money we spent on the voucher. They could not be bothered. Do not waste your time and money on Hyperli. It is safer to go to the store, face to face and buy what you want.
