1 year ago my mom my passed away she appointed the bank as executor we've submitted all the paper work required from us to have her municple account closed as there is a re fund lying there I've spoken to the attorney who dealt with the transfer etc she claims she has sent a request to the municipality sent me a very snotty e mail as well even stating I go in to the municple offices to re quest a re fund I cannot do that if first national bank is the executor I've sent so many e mails to the bank as well as the attorney the one blames the other now making it my problem I'm not a specialist in this field so I'm left confused as who must do the claim for me Rone at the estates dep ses the attorney must request the refund as the funds goes in to her account first then it gets paid to the estate account I need help regarding this as it serns no one knows what is happening
I went in to the springs mall branch to do my smart ID card on the 25 4 2026 I was pleasantly surprised by the fast effective service I recived from the door to to application process the kind consoltabt who assisted me understood I had a problem with my eye sight guided me through the process was kind I highly appreciate this I Wa saying your competitors should visit and see how smoothly thus process goes all in all I spent +- 20 min in the branch well done guys

My mom passed away 23 of April we submitted all her documents to the FNB fiduciary dep first I was told that if my documents are not correct my mom's file will be put to one side and if I'm lucky they will do a review in 6 months time then I sent my documents to them them after talking to another lady who does not take time to explain the process to us as if it is to hard for her to do the I e mail her twice to adk not how far the process is I know it takes time but to enquire if the paper work is in order no e mail no phone call asof now all we know is FNB claims a fairly simple estate no property no investments just a small amount of money will take long and to retrieve a will 2 weeks the staffus rude seems as if they get annoyed if I adk questions it's justgood etiquette to respond via e mail a simple yes documents are in order no we need more I'm horrified at the level of service of hence I'm Std bank private customers we are mourning the passing of my mom and still have to put up with this
